- "My friend and I came to Hotel Posa Posa in July 2023 and cannot recommend it enough. They arranged our transportation to and from the airport. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is perfec—it’s far enough from the main shopping area that makes it accessible but not overwhelming due to crowds, when we booked a trip to Capri it was a very close walk to the meeting place, there’s a bus stop literally next door, multiple delicious restaurants are within a five minute walk, and the entrance to the stair path to Fornillo Beach is right next door (and I’d highly recommend this instead of the Spiaggia Grande if you’re going at high tourist season). - "Beautiful property, attentive staff and a great restaurant/bar. The view from the restaurant is incredible- but the “price” of the view is a VERY steep climb. Definitely note that reaching the hotel isn’t easy and involves a pretty steep climb (though that’s common for Positano). This wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be a huge issue for families with small kids or for anyone who wasn’t physically able to tackle A LOT of steep, uneven stairs every time they wanted to come or go from the hotel. The hotel’s location, also, required a 15-minute trek into town to visit the beaches, shops and restaurants. But overall we loved it and we’d happily stay there again on our next trip to Positano. "

One last note for travelers driving: the paved road to get in and out is a narrow one-way loop (from West-to-East) that doubles as a pedestrian right-of-way. If you want to do a beach day, make sure you go earlier as the sun sets behind the cliff earlier there than the big beach. But it's well worth the smaller crowd and prettier beach.
