The property is accessed by a narrow staircase from the main road of 70 stairs (few under Positano standards).
On the ground level the entrance opens to the largest of the terraces in this Villa which overlooks the sea and is warmed by the sun all day. On this terrace there is a large outside tables and chairs.

Villa Mitrea is part of an old house in Positano which dates back to the eighteenth century. The house is located in the oldest and most typical area of Positano, consisting of white houses separated one from another by narrow streets and stairways and embellished by terraces rich in flowers and white masonry arches. Here the houses are built as if they were attached to the steep rocky coast. They all face the sun and the sea, forming that picturesque cluster of houses which render Positano so unmistakable!

You will be halfway between the beach and the state coastal road in a great and convenient position to reach either on foot or by bus either of the places.

The road below the villa is a one-way street run only by local cars and shuttles which take people from the lower to the upper part of Positano, which means from the beach and the pedestrian and shopping streets below to the national road up above.

The elegant shopping streets and the beach can be easily reached as all you have to do is descend some pedestrian shortcuts. - "What a gem this villa is and the Fusco family are! We were a party of 12, 5 kids 7 adults and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. We arrived early but Vito was very accommodating and allowed us to use the pool area while we waited. The villa’s location is fabulous with views from almost every room, and plenty of outdoor space including a pool, which is rare to find in Positano. On our arrival we discovered that Vito had stocked the fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks not to mention the gin, whiskey, aperol etc (for purchase) which was a really nice touch, oh and we also took advantage of the offer of a keg of beer, nothing better than a cold draft beer on a hot sunny day. Vito also came over in the afternoon to give us a rundown of the best places for groceries, restaurants and taxi service which was very helpful. Like others have said it’s a trek down some 900 odd steps to Positano and sometimes we didn’t want to trek up, which wasn’t a problem as the buses and taxis are plentiful, oh and the villa has a deal with a couple of taxi companies that will only charge you €40, which is much better than the €80 we were often quoted. I have to mention the highlight of our stay which was the pizza party with the Fusco family, such a lovely nice welcoming and fun people, we had a blast that night, as we did many other nights too😉 Just a big thank you to Vito and his family 🙏 Tony"

- "Positano was magical! The view from the living room and terrace was amazing. It was wonderful having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for my family. The apartment was just as we expected, very clean. The host had snacks and drinks for us, which was very nice. Gaetano met us when we arrived and showed us everything. He also booked cars for us to and from the Naples train station, which was helpful. We went during mid-March, before the busy season. Almost everything was open, but it was not crowded at all. We didn’t have to make reservations at any restaurants. I definitely recommend visiting at that time of year. I heard it gets horribly crowded in the summer. We took a boat ride tour to Capri, which was the highlight of the trip. Get ready for lots and lots of stairs! I wouldn’t bring little kids. My kids are 13 and that was perfect. The town is perfect for exploring. Not everything is listed on google maps. Some things you just need to find. I can’t wait to go back!! It would be perfect for a girls trip- so much shopping!!"

Zero sound proofing, could hear every thing going on in each room. Again, disappointing for such an insanely high price/for somewhere not even in Positano. The breakfasts were good. I'd try to find a different place to stay though. "

Belview has an impressive panorama of Positano. It is a two bedroomed flat in the complex Parco dei Fiori, which is situated in the higher part of the resort and has a private swimming pool and private parking spaces. The flat is luminous and comfortably furnished. It is a short walk from the parking spaces and steps will take you down to the swimming pool. The pool is 25 meters long and the shallow end is safe for children to swim. It is open from the 15th June to the 15th October.

Positano is in an ideal position for those who would like to visit the Amalfi coast, Capri, Sorrento and surrounding areas as there are regular bus services and ferries.

Near the complex there is an excellent restaurant and pizzeria and also a small greengrocer and grocer.

Positano offers a wide range of restaurants and bars as well as boutiques, art galleries and characteristic shops. The beaches are lively and the sea perfect for swimming. The night life offers discos, wine bars and many special performances and festivals on the beach or at the surrounding villages.

Belview is positioned at the top and at the front of the complex and from the balcony there is a full view of Positano, its beaches and the coast line.

Public transport
There are buses that take you down to the sea (5 - 10 minutes ride) or up to the villages
Montepertuso and Nocelle (10 - 15 mintutes ride), which pass the gates of the complex.
To catch the bus to Amalfi or Sorrento there is a short walk (3 - 5 minutes) to reach the
bus stop. Near the bus stop you will also find a bar, the post office, a mini-market, a
butcher and further up the road a fish shop.
From the 1st April 2018 a tourist tax of 1.50 € is applied per person per night (children under 10 are exempt) to be paid directly to the hotel. b & b or residence.

Excellent communication PLUS he has his own van/shuttle service and was able to pick us up and drop us off in Naples! We didn't have a car, but if you are traveling with a car in Positano, the fact that this apartment includes parking is amazing. There is simply no parking in Positano.|The pool is beautiful and refreshing too....not many pools around so we felt pretty special! Everyone in Positano seems to be familiar with the complex (Parco Dei Fiori) and maybe that's why. The location is about as high up in Positano as it gets so the views are incredible. There is a market that is 1 minute down the road and Constantino restaurant which is VERY good too. There is also a bus stop right down the street. Everything in positano is walkable BUT, being up top means there are a LOT of stairs to get down to many of the shops or the water. We did a lot of walking and its a great leg workout but when you get tired it's nice to know you can just hop on the bus. Overall we were very happy with our stay in Positano and definitely recommend Marco's apartment."

Entering the apartment there's a spacious and bright living room: there is a comfortable sofa with a fireplace, a dinner table and open kitchen and has direct access to the balcony.

There are two bedrooms tastefully decorated and two bathrooms with showers (all the rooms have air conditioning). Each room has an access to the large balcony, from which you can enjoy the view of the sea, the coast, the main beach, Li Galli island and the ancient towers. The terrace is furnished with chairs, an armchair and a stone bench.

The apartment, accessible on foot, is located inside the private estate of Casa Caldiero, which is a few minutes walking distance from restaurants, bars, beaches, grocery stores, the pier and the town center. You can reach the apartment from two different entrances: one at the bottom close to the sea, climbing 150 steps and another one from the road walking down 160 stairs.

Our clients have always appreciated the tranquility of our apartments, therefore, we want to warn all our guests that parties are not allowed.
After one week stay, we offer a free cleaning service, which includes changing sheets etc.

SERVICES:
At arrival, I'll meet you all at the road where the driver will drop you off or if arriving by ferry down at the dock to make getting to the apartment easier and will organize the porters for you if needed.

We offer a nice bottle of wine, a few beers, a bottle of water and taralli so that upon arrival you'll have something cold and refreshing.
And also offer Coffee pods for the nespresso, fette biscottate which would be toast, jams and butter so for the first morning you'll have a little breakfast option.

For stays 7 days or longer, there's a mid stay clean which includes a change of sheets, towels and a quick clean of the apartment.

For stays of 5 days I'll have an extra set of bath towels for you.

If you would like to have maid service daily please let me know ahead of time for the availability of the maid and can organize it. She charges 20 Euro an hour.

This apartment accommodates up to 4 people max.

During the whole stay, the guests can count on the assistance of our staff, who will be at your disposal for any information.
The check-in time is from 3 pm to 8 pm: we always suggest you communicate your time of arrival in advance.
The check-out is at 10 am.
In case you arrive after 8 pm, we ask you to contact us beforehand so that the staff will be ready to welcome you. This service has an extra cost of €50 to be paid in cash at the time of arrival.
Moreover, there are fixed cleaning fee of €80 and tourist tax of €2,50 each night per person, all to be paid in cash at the apartment.
If you stay one week or longer, we can provide you with cleaning once a week upon your request.
We have a 3-night minimum stay policy.

Casa Margherita is located in the heart of Positano, on the famous staircase called Scalinatella.
Easily accessible from the main road through a characteristic Positanese staircase and through another staircase you reach the beach with typical shops and restaurants.

1 minute walk to the Acquolella bus stops arriving in Positano centre/main beach in 10 minutes & up the mountain to Montepertuso/Nocelle arriving in 10 minutes.

10 minute walk down to upper part of Positano (Chiesa Nuova district) with shops, cafes, bars & restaurants and SITA bus stop for Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano & Sorrento.

You can also chose to take the 20 to 30 minute walk down to Positano main beach (yes there are many many many steps this is a vertical village) or you can walk along the meandering road but this takes longer (always walk on the sea side of the road)

Only 15 steps up from the road followed by a sloped path to the gate of this property then another 15 stairs up to the flat this property is easily accessed. There are parts of the walk up to the property which are not well lit at night so you need to have a flashlight (the one on a mobile phone is sufficient).

Domesticated animals may be on site including but not limited to cats, dogs, chickens & rabbits. Wild animals in vicinity including but not limited to boar, snakes, foxes, lizards, bats, eagles, falcons, owls and many different insects. Expect to see and hear animals in the vicinity. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Additional mandatory tourist charge €2.50 per person over 10 years old per night to be paid in cash at check-in payable for a maximum of 7 nights.

Guest access
The Positano Rustic Room includes 2 single beds, use of wardrobe, bed side tables, and chandelier. Use of shared bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink and shower. The outside patio and surrounding balcony corridor may be used by other guests, myself or my family may pass by going to other parts of the property. You can smoke or vape only outside the kitchen but must be very careful not to cause a fire as the surrounding land is very dry in the summer and cigarettes must be put out using the ashtray provided filled with water to ensure the cigarette and ash are fully extinguished.

You may use the kitchen and the small shared fridge in the shared kitchen. All food must be stored in the fridge.

During your stay
We are happy to socialise or give our guests their privacy. We follow our guests lead. We speak Italian and English and would be happy to provide recommendations and reservations for activities, transportation and restaurants.

Other things to note
You can explore the private hereditary lands at the back of the house at your own risk but must wear sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots as it is steep and rocky uneven terrain.

The sandy beaches, at 500 meters from the house, are be reached on foot (just 10 minutes) via famous stairways of Positano. Near the apartment are also available bus stops.

There's bus stop within 50 meters where you can take the SITA bus to Amalfi, Ravello and Sorrento or local bus. At 10 meters from the house you can take the buses to go to the beaches and to the pier from which the ferry to Capri, Amalfi and Sorrento.
Going down the characteristic stairways of Positano, you can get to (just 10 minutes on foot) the two beaches: the major and central "Spiaggia" with the Church of Santa Maria Assunta or the smallest and quiet "Fornillo", dominated by the famous "Torre di Clavel".
Close by you can find all the services you need: laundromat, cafe, restaurants, supermarket, newsstand, photography shop, barber shop and so on.

So you should to go down through the typical staircases to reach beaches or Positano center, and to discover alleys, traditional little shops and restaurants. Anyway you can reach your favourite destination by local bus... and the bus stop is just a few minutes from Parco dei Fiori exit gate.

Casa Le Calle is located on the outskirts of Positano and free parking is available on the public road.
I generally suggest not to drive here because of the heavy traffic and the difficult roads.
You can make the most of your holiday by alternatively using these means of transportation: bus, taxi, rented chauffeur-driven car, or a rented scooter.
Bus stops to reach all destinations are only a few steps away from the entrance gate.
