It is located on the second and last floor of an medieval building of the typical via del Riserraglio, in one of the most ancient districts of the city where there was the Roman era forum and where, in the Middle Ages, there were flourishing handicraft workshops and big papermaking factories. The flat has been finely renovated and furnished taking great care of the details, trying to recreate, where it was possible, a medieval style furniture. It has a beautiful high ceiling with terracotta tiles, authentic beams and wooden truss beams, and parquet. The wooden furniture, the light fixtures, the lanterns, the copper and wrought iron torches are all craftsman works, as well as the doors, faithful reproductions of ancient models with typical bolts. The walls are adorned with reproductions of medieval arras of the Flanders.

I restored the house according to its characteristic architectural spirit, all arches, steps, high ceilings and differences in height. You will find an intimate environment, in which every piece of furniture has been desired, chosen and harmonized with the context to offer you a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere.
In the house a spacious bedroom with reading area and desk is waiting for you.
In the living room (a passage room) the sofa easily turns into a comfortable double bed.
In the living room: the kitchenette with gas stove, a kettle, a toaster, an electric juicer, a cappuccino machine and many utensils.

From the living room you will be able to enter the courtyard, and from there to the terrace. These are spaces shared with me and my partner (and some neighborhood cat passing by). Finally, for nature lovers, we suggest the dense network of trails for TREKKING, which can be reached just outside Tivoli, within the natural reserve of Monte Catillo, the regional park of the Monti Lucretili and just a short distance away, Mount Gennaro, the Prenestini mountains and the Simbruini Mountains Park; it would be a pleasure to be able to share the passion for hiking with our guests.

- "Worked out great host was very nice and had some great tips that helped us out when visiting the gardens - we were able to visit Tivoli at night when it was not 102F /40C. Great that each bedroom had a desk fan which were life savers. But it is true, I read in a previous review— for whatever reason there is no middle ground when taking a shower you either get all hot or all cold I’ve never come across a shower with such an amazing temperament. But hey it is a city known for its astonishing waterworks!"
