When you get out of the apartment, on your right you will find the market square and on your left via Mazzini, the high street with all its nice shops. If you pass the shops and keep walking straight, after 50 mt you will find yourself on the beautiful promenade by the sea, one of the most beautiful of the Riviera, with its historic buildings, restaurants and bars. In the middle of the promenade, it is possible to find the pier with ferries that can take you directly to Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, San Fruttuoso, Camogli, Cinque Terre, Portovenere, and Genova (Acquarium). If you walk until the end of the promenade you will reach the characteristic castle dating back to the 16° Century where art exhibitions are always organized. On both sides of the promenade there are private and public beaches with bars and restaurants, whereas if you turn right when you leave the apartment you can walk to the train and bus station for any other destination.

The microwave did not work and when we arrived at the property the WIFI was not working either. The next day Francesaca sent a manager over to fix the shower head and the WIFI, but we never were abe to use the kitchen because the microwave did not work and the gas stove was there but the lighter they left there did not work either. There is no AC so you have to open the windows so there is a lot of noise from outside as well as mosquitoes that come in. There is no Safe in the apartment which makes things more diffcult in safekeeping your valuables etc. All in all it is a nice place in a very commercial neighborhood, but it needs a few improvements, like the ones I just mentioned. FYI, the train station is about 10 -15 minutes walking distance and the taxi ride from the train station will cost you around 13 Euros."
