It is located about a ten minute walk from town and looks over a most peaceful area of the water (you won't be watching the ferry boats from here!) It is quiet for Bellagio but close to everything. We liked being able to walk to a true grocery store (15 minutes) and a pizza/sandwich etc. store (5 minutes) without navigating the crowds. You are five minute walk from a small beach area to go swim, there is also a dock in this area that sailing and motor boat tours can leave from and our charter boat was happy to pick us up from this location. The Villa itself was very well appointed and had all that we needed. We had plenty of space for the five of us with two bedrooms with doors, a large upstairs living area that served as a third bedroom, two bathrooms, and a nice kitchen/dining/living room on the bottom floor. We also had access to a laundry machine which was appreciated. This villa is 1/2 of a beautiful home and there are tenants in the other 1/2. It was quiet as anything, ample outdoor space, beautiful place would go back if ever I am so lucky!"

- "The photos are accurate - this place is very comfortable with all amenities you would expect, PLUS a fantastic view. Luciana was the perfect host - there when we needed her, but otherwise not intrusive. We communicated via WhatsApp, which solved the problem of neither of us speaking much of the other's language. Civenna is a quiet and friendly village with a small supermarket, bakery, green grocers and a couple of bars/cafes, so you can get all you need without travelling too far. If you want a bigger supermarket, there is a Famila in Asso. It's a brilliant base for exploring the area and has some exhilarating walks nearby. We can't rate this property and host highly enough."

- "Great location, very clean, updated. Wish we could stay longer." - "I've stayed in Bellagio a half dozen times in different apartments and hotels. I stayed at this apartment for 12 days. There is no better location. A few steps to the lakefront, shops, and excellent restaurants. My jaw dropped when I entered the apartment. Beautifully remodeled. Even larger and prettier than I expected from the photos. The kitchen has every amenity. The counter space is a little tight, but adequate for cooking meals, which I always do. That's the main reason why I rent apartments: The amount you save in restaurant checks pays for most of the apartment. Comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Tenents also have access to a delightful patio overlooking the lake. My son and I both lounged there a couple of times, working on our laptops. The wifi reaches the patio. While I didn't need them during my stay, the landlord is always responsive. I'll likely come back here the next time I'm in Bellagio."

The village is reachable with about 15 minutes walking with a path of 800 mt - at 400 mt first supermarkets and a sporting centre.

- "We just returned from a week at this beautiful property in Bellagio. I cannot begin to describe how relaxing and lovely the entire experience was - how kind and responsive our hosts were, how the beauty and serenity of the home was only barely surpassed by the breathtaking beauty that surrounds you in Lago di Como. We rented the entire villa for our family of 16 who is spread out over several countries, and all of the cousins and siblings had plenty of time to reconnect. - "First time I have stayed in an old, converted church! The apartment was large, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable! The Wonderful Italy staff were friendly, quick to respond on Whatsapp, and professional. The location is just a few minutes walk from the seaside through a park or two minutes into the cozy backstreets of Bellagio. There is a public parking area just on the backside (2 euro an hour between 8am and 8pm). You don't need a car in Bellagio as you probably want to take the ferry. Highly recommended especially if you like to avoid shiny hotel rooms that all look the same :)"

- "Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. There are 2 roads to drive in and out of the area, I'd recommend inquiring about the route that is wider. The apartment had everything we might require and we were provided with a lovely welcome basket. Communication was very good and my only complaint would be that we were exhausted, advised of the time we would arrive, and had to wait a half hour before someone gave us the key. We were proactive in giving an arrival time, but as in life things may occur that make someone late, so I cannot say that it will be an issue for guests in the future. There is a market within walking distance and a restaurant 2 minutes up the road. I'd definitely recommend a stay at this location. "

Noris was a great host, gave us all the details we'd need and was very nice and helpful in my many notes to her as we were having issues getting to the property. This property would be best with a rental car as the transportation to Bellagio is a bit challenging. On the morning of our departure we tried to take the bus but it only ran every 90 minutes then called 10 taxis and none could take us so we ended up having to walk 1.5 miles with our luggage. This is in no way a reflection on the property, it is just something to note! I would definitely stay here again - the hot tub at the end of a long day walking was incredible- thank you so much to the great hosts."

The apartment is on two floors: on the first one there is the living room, a bathroom, the kitchen and also a chimney; on the second one there is a bathroom and a big bedroom with a double bed and two single ones.

The space
In the living room there is a double sofa bed that could be prepared for you on request, for a total privacy in case of two couples for example.

For a 2 guests reservation we will prepare only the double bed if you don't ask for something different before your arrival.

For a 3 or 4 guests reservation we will prepare the single beds if the sofa bed downstairs is not requested before your arrival.

You will not have parkings problems here, if you will come by car and you are very close to the center at the same time. Bellagio Minimal Room is located in Suira, a quiet hamlet in Bellagio. It is a studio apartment on the first floor and adjacent to the host's home, which is ideal for guests who want to experience Bellagio surrounded by locals. It is also a good starting point for biking and hiking excursions. The strength of Bellagio Minimal Room is its location: it is located really close to the historical center(5 minuts of car), but in a really quiet area.

The space
The new studio apartment is spacious and bright, and was furnished in modern minimal style in May 2022. It is fully air-conditioned and heated, and it can host two people.

It has a separate and independent entrance and it is equipped with a sofa with fold-out double bed and a flat-screen TV.

It has a modern kitchen equipped with: microwave, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, coffee-maker, pots and pans, and all utensils useful for meal preparation. There is no oven.

BATHROOM
The studio has a large new bathroom furnished in minimal modern style equipped with shower, bidet and hair dryer.
There is also a first aid kit available.


PARKING
One outdoor parking space is available at street level.
IMPORTANT: the car park is not suitable for excessively large cars

Guest access
The entire studio apartment is for the exclusive use of guests, there are no common areas, and the entrance located on the second floor is completely separate and accessible via a stone staircase, on the side of the house.

There is an outdoor parking space exclusive for our guests (Not easy for oversized cars). It is recommended - in case of arrival with a rented car - to travel by small car. The roads in the area are narrow, both the road to reach the house and all the roads around the lake Como area.

Other things to note
The studio apartment is within a 5-minute drive of major supermarkets and less than a 7 -minute drive of the historical center of Bellagio.

For walkers, the historical center can be reached in 20 minutes using a typical mule track overlooking the lake (super-recommended panoramic walk to the center).

Lovely room recently renovated (2024) in a quiet and characteristic historic center: a small rural nucleus in a panoramic position, 1.7 km from the village of Bellagio.

The space
The room is on the second floor of a historic nucleus that housed a convent, accessed by an ancient granite staircase. The room has two single beds and the en-suite bathroom, equipped with shower, sink, toilet and bidet.
Behind the house, 20 meters away, after walking a cobblestone courtyard, there is a small garden that we gladly share with our guests: a quiet place, overlooking the lake and the mountains, has a table, chairs and sun loungers.

Guest access
The entire room and bathroom are for the exclusive use of guests. The entrance staircase is shared with the owner, and a nice little garden is shared with the owner: it is 20 meters from the room, after walking a cobblestone courtyard.

A suitable place for those who love to walk, not recommended for those with mobility problems: there are numerous cobbled mule tracks, panoramic and surrounded by greenery, which in a few minutes on foot connect our small historic center with the most interesting places in Bellagio; walking is the best way to visit Bellagio.
