- "There was a terrible smell of stale cigarettes in the studio due to the smokers area to the front of the reception area being strewn with thousands of cigarette butts on the floor. The door was closed and no one was there during this time. Our hotel building electricity fuse was gone around 19:00h. We couldn’t cook and the room heater stopped working. No receptionist was there, so we called 24h help line call so many times, but no one picked up the phone. We tried calling all of their telephone numbers but none of them wasn’t working. Around midnight, finally the hotel pick up our phone then they suggested to move us to another hotel near us. My 10years old child was sleeping with ski clothes. We needed to wake my child up middle of the night and packed ourselves in the darkness. We had to walk to the other hotel in the freezing cold night. Most annoying things is NO ONE contacted us (even text or email). No one came to supply any torches or candles, extra blankets etc… The same building customer was feeling same as I am. They couldn’t reach any help from the hotel.We simply didn’t know what we needed to do. This is a ski resort place, it reaches easily -10℃ middle of the night.WiFi connection is poor "

We finally went up the hill to ask at the 'reception' (a very cute local bar) but it was closed. We knocked on a another apartment door and it is a switch you flip on the gas cylinder. Also it was noisy. You can hear the TV and noises through the walls. And the shower was a shocker. Very small. But hot. Also it was broken and you have to hold the hose. After 2 days we worked out how to fix it. And we ran out of toilet paper and it wasn't replaced. There was no cleaning for the 4 nights we were there or checking of facilities. Bed was so firm it was like a rock. Wi-fi was very good. All in all it was o.k but I wouldn't go back."

Overall a good stay with whichbwith a few changes would have been great."

Hotel La Fragua I has common areas, like a relaxing social lounge, which is especially cozy in winters in Sierra Nevada thanks to its fireplace. Another nice area is the shared terrace where you can enjoy the pure Sierra Nevada air and unparalleled views of the Natural Park and Trevélez Valley.

At Hotel La Fragua II, at 100 meters, you will find a magnificent seasonal pool where you can cool off, which you can also use even if you stay at Hotel La Fragua I.

In our restaurant, just a few steps away we offer you an exquisite gastronomic offer. You can indulge in homemade dishes and with natural and local products, even cultivated by ourselves in a sustainable way.
