This unit is a small studio efficiency on the 2nd floor as advertised, not a 1 bedroom apartment. Keep that in mind if you are adding people or pets, or if you need more space.
This unit has a kitchenette, which is not a full kitchen. If you need a full kitchen, book accordingly. This uit has everything you need for cooking as far as equipment is concerned (ie silverware, pots/pans, cups, dishes/plates). We do not supply anything extra (ie foils, oils, salts, condiments). The kitchenette has a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, 2 stove top burners, a sink, and a mini fridge.

As per the pictures, the bed is in fact against the wall. This unit is again on the 2nd floor. No A/C in any units.

Like many small businesses in Maine, we do not have a/c in any units or buildings---- our location right on the water keeps us nice and cool even during our "hot" summer days, with fans in all rooms and cottages to supplement.

The Lighthouse Wing is attached to the Main House Inn, with America being the middle unit. The rooms in this wing share the outdoor decks on both sides, but the chairs are spaced adequately apart. Each room has their own stair access to the decks as well.

The Lighthouse wing Motel suites all have a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and a sink. Housekeeping does not do dirty dishes, so please make sure to wash your own dishes! We do not stock sponges for sanitation reasons, all units have dish cloths and wash rags. Should you require a sponge, ask the front desk and we will supply you with one.
There are screens for each entrance, and you can open both doors+close the screens to get good cross breezes to cool the room if neccesary.

This room gets one of the best cross-breezes in the house once all windows are open.
