The walls are pretty thin so we could hear everything. It wasn’t a big deal the first two nights because it was quiet in the halls but seemed busier the last night due to being a weekend so we heard more. But again, didn’t ruin our trip. The space
The West River House is a no-frills and affordable, boutique hotel in downtown Truckee. Always some form of lodging, the building was first built in the 1880's, burnt down in the early 1920's and then rebuilt in the late 1920's. We completely renovated it in 2016 to give it new life.

Check-in is all online prior to arrival. You will receive a code for the doors and instructions for parking.

Please note, there is no on-site parking; guests can park in the nearby public lot, a full kitchen and breakfast are not provided, though, this allows you to explore Truckee’s fantastic dining options.
