Walk to the Truckee river from the back deck or drive to other nearby access points. Hirschdale is just a short ten minute drive to Downtown Truckee and 20 miles to Reno. Skiing, boarding, mountain biking, tubing, or grab a paddle board and head to Boca Reservoir which is five minutes by car. Shared amenities offer plenty to do, and it's not far to excellent skiing. The Village at Northstar is a luxury resort near Truckee. A free shuttle will pick you up at the condo building and bring you to the rec center, golf, or skiing (0.5 miles away). If you prefer, though, feel free to bring a car! Please note that in winter, 4WD may be needed.

The wooden walls and modern furnishings make this studio a cheerful, friendly place to spend time. Sliding doors lead out to a little balcony where you can sip a glass of wine while you watch the sun set over the mountains. A double-size Murphy bed pulls down from the wall, and can be put back up during the day for more living space. There's also a futon, so this studio can accommodate up to four guests. On a chilly winter evening, spend time playing board games, or watch a movie on Netflix on cable while the fire keeps you toasty. If you're keeping up on work while you're away, log onto the WiFi. Prepare delicious meals in the kitchen and dine together at the dining table. There's a dishwasher, so cleanup goes fast.

Relax, grill, and dine on the balcony, or curl up with a good book by the gas fireplace. I love that it is located half-way between Lake Tahoe and the darling village of Truckee.

The complex's fabulous recreation center has it all — a lap pool, sauna, hot tub, tennis and basketball courts, plus a gym. The Village's outdoor skating rink is a treat even in winter, with heated seating areas and cozy fire pits.

This is not a place for events or parties, sorry! Absolutely no smoking. There are two flights of stairs! So it isn't the best option if you have a hard time with stairs. Sometimes you can hear cars from the road outside, but it usually isn't bad.

Cozy in the winter-Bright and airy in the summer. Studio in Tahoe Donner Lodge Condominiums with skiing right out the back door, Located within 30 minutes from Northstar, Squaw,Alpine, Sugar Bowl, Boreal. 5 minutes from downtown historic Truckee. This unit is great for a small family as well as die hard skiers .There are snow activities close by as well as horses, cross country skiing- - many seasonal fun things.

- "Lisa's place is updated and clean, and we loved the fact that it's literally just steps away from the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area. Her unit is cozy but functional. The only "complaint" was regarding the sofa bed. We pulled it out, and it felt like it was slightly reclined still, but that could also be user error more than anything else. The trundle bed was very comfortable, and we had no complaints. Otherwise, the place was perfect! And Lisa had great communication too. Her check-in instructions were very comprehensive and worked seamlessly when we arrived late Friday night. And she even graciously extended our check-out time since there was no other guest checking-in that day. Five stars for Lisa and her place!"

It’s 1/2 mile to the main recreation center with a gym, hot tub and two pools with a spacious sun deck (lap pool is open year-round), sledding hill, the Lodge restaurant and a convenience store. The golf course is two blocks away. Tennis courts and kids play area are a mile away ( you will pass it on your way to the house) A mile past the house are the mountain bike and equestrian center. Nearby is the ski hill with two lifts and a variety of beginner and intermediate terrain (where TD kids learn to ski and ride). Paved and unpaved hiking trails are everywhere.
The studio has double doors opening onto a balcony looking west, with windows stretching up to the cathedral ceiling. There are other windows on all sides.
The interior has been completely remodeled to add a kitchen and laundry and all new floors. There is ample cabinet and two closets for your clothes, a seating area centered around the gas stove and the entertainment center with two sofas (including a queen sleeper sofa), a dining table with four chairs and lots of floor space to stretch out.
The oversized garage has a long work bench, and two large parking spaces. The driveway is huge and flat as well.

Guest access
The studio is accessible from inside the garage and from a side door, and is completely detached from the house.
Truckee is a snow-lover’s dream with storms that can drop 8 feet in a few days. Our private plowing service will come once each day it snows, but if you cannot see the buildings, our house is the twelfth driveway on the right. The balcony doors over the garage are always above the snow banks and are painted a bright green so you can find us even if the address is obscured by snow.

Other things to note
The studio has a city- mandated 31 day minimum, but the detached house is available by the night.
The property has lots of parking.
The Tahoe Donner HOA has many amenities available for a daily fee including its own ski hill, sledding hill, miles of nature trails, mountain biking and XC trails, two pools, tennis courts, a gym, golf course and a private beach and boat launch on Donner Lake. There are several restaurants in the development with a range of cuisines.

Summer-Fall: condo located 5 minutes walk from Northstar Village allows you to be close to everything but also have peace and quiet.

Guests have access to the Northstar Recreation Center which is right next to the village. It has tennis, pickleball and basketball courts; lap pool, main pool and hot tubs. Gym with weights and exercise equipment. Locker rooms which have a sauna for men and women, and an arcade game room. There is also a lounge area and workspace. Guests pay $10 a day.

Other things to note
Parking comes with the condo so I have listed check out at noon but you can keep the parking pass in your car until 4pm.

4pm is when the chair lifts stop running for the day. It is also when the next guest(s) can check into the condo.

You shall return the parking pass to the ski locker by 4pm.

On a busy day it’s best to get out by/before 4pm or chill out in the village and go after the crowds have left. There is free parking in the village premium lots after 3pm.

Welcome to my Northstar getaway! This condo is a 5-minute walk to The Village and a 12-15 minute walk to the gondola in the winter.

Enjoy the serenity from the top unit in the building, and relax, knowing that not only do you have the full unit to yourself, none of the walls are shared either!

WiFi is stable and fast - perfect for WFH.

Located right behind the paid parking lot of Northstar's Village, this is as close as you can get without actually staying inside The Village itself!

The space
Your party will have the entire fully furnished 1 bedroom loft to yourselves. The condo is located on the 3rd floor (top floor) and none of the walls are shared. Please note that there are no elevators, so walking up stairs is a requirement.

Guest access
You will also have access to the common laundry room with a washer and dryer. Locked by keypad - all codes and various details will be given closer to the reservation date.

Other things to note
Please note that the cleaning fee is a one-time fee regardless of the length of your stay. At the end of your stay, simply pick your things up and leave! There are no cleaning requirements on your end. My cleaning team will get the place ready for the next guests.

During the winter time, I strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This will help cover additional incurred expenses due to inclement weather, which is common here.

Additionally, please properly prepare for the travel to and from the area during the winter. While there is a paved road to the front of the condo building, chains may be required during blizzard conditions and would be recommended to be kept in the car regardless. Snow tires and all-wheel drive vehicles are also recommended if the option exists. Traditional emergency preparedness items are always recommended in the area. Radio, flashlight, clothes, food, batteries, blankets, water, etc. are always helpful items to carry in the Tahoe area. More so during the winter.

Welcome to our beautifully renovated condo with a rustic theme. Ours is a rare end unit with a balcony. We are in a great location, with mostly "ski-in/ski-out" access. When the snow level allows, there is a groomed trail about 20 feet from our door which leads to the mid mountain Ritz Carlton Gondola & full mnt access. With less coverage you will have a 5 minute walk to the groomed slope at most. There's no need to take the shuttle or get in your car. Also a 5 minute walk to the village.

The space
Our condo is a rare end unit with a deck. We are no longer alowed to have a grill on the deck due to fire hazard but there are grills at the rec center.

There is a rec center pass that allows 6 people. The charge is $10/person/day

***Our condo is not appropriate for children 5 and under***
We have an "open tread" stairway and a loft bedroom with a bed up against a 3 foot loft wall. Difficult for little ones to navigate.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire condo as well as the recreation center with 2 pools, 3 jacuzzi/hot tubs, a work out room and sauna.

Our condo is an upper unit and involves stairs.
Also, from the condo parking area is a paved path with gradual stairs about 25-30 yards to the building.

This is a duplex with the Owner living space upstairs part-time and the Guest living space downstairs with a separate entry. Great access to Sugarbowl, Alpine and Squaw.

The space
The home is on a private road in a quiet neighborhood just a quick walk from Donner Lake. Relax as you enjoy the days exploring the nearby lakes, hiking trails and weekend events. Then come back to the house to unwind on the deck.

Guest access
Guests will have space for 2 cars in the driveway and additional parking on the street (winter excluded) if needed. AWD and good snow tires or chains are needed during snow days to access the home.
To access this unit, you will need to walk down one flight of stairs.

If you would like to use the EV charger at the house, please let me know upon booking. Rates for use are $20/day/night booked.

The home is a 10 minute walk down to the Shoreline park beach area with BBQ pits and waterboard launch.
