- "Wonderful host, very comfortable bed, cute decor, great location, loved all the little “extras”" - "This was my second stay at this property, and I am designating it as my "go to" place to stay in Reno. The apartment is very charming and comfortable, and I feel very at home here. It is so quiet and so peaceful, and the well kept property with lots of flowers and trees and cool lighting at night adds to the pleasure of staying here. For me, it is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing long weekend. I like the fact that while the property and neighborhood are so peaceful and quiet, it is only a very short walk of about 5 or so minutes to downtown where all the casino hotels, shops, and restaurants are--making it an ideal location for those who want the best of all worlds for a stay in Reno. The river walk is also at the end of the short block where the property is located--another big plus. The unique antique gas fireplace is wonderful! It is easy to operate, looks like a real wood fire, and throws great heat! The bed is super comfortable, and the heated toilet seat is a nice extra! Lastly, the neighborhood feels very safe, and there is a designated off street parking space for the apartment which is right outside the front door."

The space
Beautiful historic home “The Butler House” remodeled with the traveling professional in mind. We strive to provide the comforts we enjoy when we travel. Shared fully furnished kitchen if you prefer to cook in and gas grill, picnic table and corn hole if you prefer to cook out. Two washers/dryers and iron/board in laundry. Individual locked storage as well as large upright freezer for bulk groceries in basement. This studio has original clawfoot tub with a shower head as well. It's filled with sunlight, has a chair/ottoman, small desk, dresser, and large closet with hangers. There are two cruiser bikes available for guest use.

There is individual locked storage for skis, bikes, etc. in basement. This studio has walk in shower, queen sized bed, leather sofa, dresser, and closet with hangers. It's filled with sunlight and it's our largest studio. There are two cruiser bikes available for guest use.

You have your own separate space with separate entrance in a quiet residential neighborhood, 5 minutes from airport and downtown Reno. Less than one hour from Tahoe and skiing. Full large basement apartment is over 700 sq. ft. and has a separate, private entrance (with stairs) and its own backyard. Owners live upstairs. Eclectic decor - antique bedroom set, Mexican themed common spaces.
This is NOT a party house. If there is anything resembling a party you will be asked to leave immediately.

The space
This is a spacious studio apartment. It occupies the entire basement of a 2 bedroom house (above), so it is quite large. The queen bedroom area is off by itself a bit and has a curtain for some privacy. The single bed has a partial room divider also. For those who need a desk space there is a very large desk, with lamp, elecrical outlets and printer.

You have access to the entire basement apartment through a private entrance on back of house, and private backyard area, entered by a separate gate to street parking.

Other things to note
The couch is a sofabed with a full/queen mattress. A portacrib is also available. There are some board games and a collection of books and magazines as well as some toddler toys. Kitchen is ready for cooking and cabinets contain spices, oils, cookware, servingware and some basic foods just in case. A washer and dryer are in the apartment for you to use as well as an iron and ironing board.
I now have a rental car available for you to rent so you can avoid the long wait at the car rental counter. Reasonable rates. 7 passenger Dodge Grand Caravan. Message me for details and availability.
