- "Overall i was happy with this unit. It was perfect for a solo travel to the area. It honestly feels a little cramped for more than two. Two might even be pushing it a little. Some of the pictures and directioon the listing are outdated: 1. There isn’t a keurig but a regular coffee pot. I prefer a coffee pot but I’m glad i decided to wait to buy groceries until i saw the unit because looking at the virtual tour, i would have bought keurig pods (which i don’t use at home and would have been a waste). 2. The driving instructions that are sent were helpful but i had to have them up while driving. The instructions indicate that you can’t go up the hill to the check in which is no longer the case. There were no “do not enter” signs as indicated in the instructions and this way is much easier and quicker to get to the unit. 3.The check in process i think is the worst part. The instructions indicated a lock box outside the building. This lock box is there and the code worked but there was nothing there. I stood outside for about ten minutes trying to figure out what i was missing. I finally just went up to the until (third floor) and there was a keypad on the door to the specific unit. I was able to bypass the lock box completely. This needs to be revised for future visitors. Overall, and despite the above, i did like this location and would stay again. No AC is unfortunate but thankfully they do provide a couple fans."

This Tahoe Cabin was recently built, with apartment over the garage.
Third bedroom attached, rented separately if needed.

Very quiet street close to the lake. Cabin has a beautiful deck with lots of sun.

We are perfectly situated just steps away from Skylandia Beach Park and Lake Forest Beach Park.

You have access to your entire private Cabin. No areas are "shared". Relax and enjoy your vacation in a very private and peaceful location.

We do have an additional bedroom and bathroom on the lower level that is rented separately. Please let us know if you might need the extra space.

IMPORTANT - The transient occupancy tax will be included in your total, you do not have to worry about paying this fee upon arrival or check out.

CANCELATION POLICY: if you are concerned about our strict cancellation policy, please be sure to purchase travel insurance as we will not be offering additional refunds. Airbnb suggests InsureMyTrip and Squaremouth.
This insurance will be helpful in case of weather, fire, pandemics or other circumstances which would cause you to cancel your trip.
We only refund if it is necessary for us to close our Airbnb due to unexpected circumstances. When you sign our Airbnb contract, you acknowledge you have a strict cancellation policy.

COVID: If we are forced to shut our rental due to the COVID outbreak, we will be refunding your stay. However, if Airbnbs in our area are able to operate, no refunds will be given to guests who book after 3/15/2020, this is again, why we suggest purchasing travel insurance. (affordable and piece of mind)

FIRES/SMOKE/AQI: If we are forced to shut our rental/evacuate due to a fire we will be refunding your stay. However, if Airbnbs in our area are able to operate despite fires that are not a danger to our area, poor air quality and smoke, no refunds will be given.
We suggests you pay for travel insurance: InsureMyTrip and Squaremouth and recommended by airbnb.

DATE CHANGES:
All changes between 7 to 14 days prior to arrival will be charged a 20% fee.
All changes between 3 to 7 days prior to arrival will be charged a 50% fee.
No changes will be accepted within 48 hours of arrival.
No exceptions, thank you for your understanding.
Please contact us first if you must change your dates.

Please let us know if you have any questions, we are happy to go over any house/guest rule with you.
- No shoes in the house
- Quiet hours: 10pm-6am (a fee can apply if these rules are not respected, noise is loud and a neighbor complains)
- Absolutely no smoking or drugs on the property (there will be a $350 deep cleaning fee if guests smoke in the home)
-Absolutely no parties/gatherings, there will be a fee of a minimum of $500 for parties.
-Please note: this listing is for 4 guests only, we sometimes make exceptions but it MUST be approved prior to your arrival date. If this is not respected, there will be an additional fee after check-out of $250/night per extra guest.
