Please note that Reno area is a ski destination and skiing comes with snow and road closures, we wait the entire year for the snow and skiers so that we can balance our income and run our rental arbitrage business, visitors needs to be prepared for harsh weather conditions and they should always check the weather forecast and plan ahead, be prepared start your travel early in the morning if you can to make sure you will get to Reno before the Sun Set when the weather starts being harsh, be prepared to have AWD/4WD vehicles with tire chains and longer travel times (sometimes over 8 hours) or rerouting to get here sometime from a longer route.
So please be prepared because we can’t provide refunds for cancellations due to storms and road closures.

Guest Access:
Please note that since we don’t charge extra for additional guests we only provide bedding and towels the same amount of the beds, and also always double check the amount of beds as some guests mistake the amount beds with the sofa beds however sofa beds won’t come with beddings

We like to keep the honey in the kitchen and the bears out. Do not leave any food in cars or outside. Secure garbage in the Bear Box. Lock car doors. They are smart, be smarter!

The North Lake Lodges is hidden in plain sight just off the main road in Incline Village. The Lodge Studio unit sleeps two people comfortably. This is the place to be if you are looking to explore the Lake or take in some world class skiing. Diamond Peak is the closest ski resort to the property and is located just a couple miles away. We offer an outdoor hot tub that is open year round.

- "The bed wasn't great and the place had no A/C, so in the summer I wouldn't want to stay for more than a night, but the grounds were lovely with a cute little waterfall right outside the front door. Check-in was a breeze (no idea why other reviewers complained about that). Room was warm overnight, even with the patio door open, but the grounds were very quiet so sleeping with the patio door open wasn't a problem. And we really enjoyed eating breakfast on the mini patio, while we watched a Steller's Jay preen on a nearby branch. Whole place was spotless. Kitchen was a bonus for the same price as a hotel room. We didn't cook, but we did use the sink, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. All worked well. It's no frills for sure: no K-cups, no ice maker, basic linens, and hot tub is TINY (and only open from 9-9). But for a simple overnight stay, I would definitely choose to stay here again over other similarly priced options in the area. Fabulous value for the location, with lots of tasty nearby food options/ATM/Raley's. (Jiffy's pizza was fast and yummy!)"

 Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. If undisclosed pets are brought into the
home without our approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

 Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood burning fireplaces, fire
pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting
at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short term rental regulations.
 This home has a max overnight occupancy of 8 guests!

MINIMUM AGE FOR RENTAL. The minimum age to rent the Property is 25 years of

After you book, you will be asked to e-sign another rental agreement which protect our home from guest damages.

***All guests must electronically sign a Rental Agreement prior to being given access to
the property at check-in. Contract will be emailed within 24 hours of booking and should
be signed within 48 hours***

Parking: 2 cars on the specific spots (One Covered and One Uncovered)

Our property does not have space to accommodate RVs or fifth wheels. Parking of these vehicles is not permitted in the driveway or on the street, in accordance with local regulations and HOA rules.

Note on Map Distances and Beaches:

The platform automatically generates distance estimates (e.g "5–10 minutes to the lake"). These are not added or controlled by us as the host. Some of our properties are located close to Incline Village’s private beaches; however, access to these beaches is restricted by IVGID (Incline Village General Improvement District) and is only available to property owners. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide guest access to these private beaches.

We kindly ask guests not to leave negative reviews for lack of lake access, as this is clearly explained in our listing's notes section and is outside of our control.
