A ski and sledding hill, skiing school and rental shop are all open in season at Granlibakken Tahoe. Guests may also rent bikes or hike along trails near the Sierra Mountains. Burton Creek State Park is less than 5 miles from the lodge. Truckee River Rafting is 6 minutes away.

We followed instructions on it to wait 24 hr from check in to call if not cooling. So we did but a technician did arrive until 24 hr later. By then we were mostly through our stay. He was unable to repair refrigerator but did lend us his Yeti cooler. Would recommend to call AvantStay as soon as trouble arises and not wait."

As you walk into this Modern Cabin, the first ensuite downstairs has a queen-sized platform bed, and the bathroom has a shower stall. Laundry is in the hall, and then you’ll enter the living room, kitchen, and dining areas. Upstairs, you’ll find the second ensuite, boasting a king-size bed, futon couch, Roku flatscreen TV, and the bathroom has heated floors and a shower stall.

The cabin features a spacious deck with a picnic table & umbrella, perfect for enjoying outdoor meals and soaking up the sun. It also comes with convenient amenities such as a washer, dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. For climate control, there are 3 mini-splits, forced-air heat, and a wood-burning wood stove. Entertainment options include a Roku TV upstairs and a Smart TV downstairs in the living room.

This cabin does have a Ring doorbell camera on the front door. Additionally, the owners have a private space within the home with a separate entrance (duplex) and may be on the premises occasionally. Garage is for Owner use only.

This home does not allow parties or events as it is in a residential neighborhood. Quiet time is from 9pm to 8am. Thanks for your cooperation!

Pets: 1 small dog (under 25lbs) is allowed with a $100 per stay fee. Guests must cleanup after their pet.

Trash:
All trash must go in the locked bear box. NEVER leave trash outside of bear box. Large fines from the city will be imposed to those who bate wildlife.

Occupancy and Noise:
Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 8 AM.
Maximum occupancy: 8 people.

House Rules and Behavior:
Please respect the property, wildlife, and neighbors.
No parties allowed. Violation will lead to immediate cancellation without refund. Fines may be enforced by the county.

No Smoking and Fire Safety:
No smoking of any kind, including marijuana and vaping, due to fire hazard. A $500 fee applies for smoking violations.
No bonfires. Follow the smoking policy for safety and conservation.

Commercial Use and Productions:
Photo/video productions require proper licensing and release. Personal photos and sharing are encouraged, but commercial or professional productions require pre-negotiated rates and a location release.

Check-Out and Late Check-Out:
Leave the home in good condition, following check-out procedures. Late check-out fee is $200 if property is not vacated 30 minutes after 11 AM check-out. More than 2 hours late results in an additional day charge.
Early Check-in or Late Check-out is subject to availability but must be requested and approved in advance.

Travel Preparations:
Winter stays must have a 4WD vehicle due to weather conditions.
Stock extra food for potential storms. Monitor weather conditions before traveling.
Purchase trip insurance to cover unforeseen events affecting reservations.

This cabin was exactly as the pictures, but the views posted from this cabin (on VRBO) do NOT do justice to this beautifully located property! As an added bonus, the owner provides for dog specific blankets and towels so as to give the most convenient way to protect the furniture and cabin, while allowing our beloved dogs to enjoy the environment. The Host is by far one of the best I've experienced with vrbo. She was enthusiastic, helpful, courteous, and immediately responsive! We highly recommend this Host and the property!! Just a hop, skip, and a jump from Tahoe City’s restaurants, shops and Commons Beach of Lake Tahoe, is our 4bd, 2ba mountain home. Built in 2006, our mountain home feels brand new, but retains that old Tahoe charm with mountain rustic style. The hot tub is BRAND NEW 2014. You are so close to Tahoe City you can walk to Rosie's for breakfast in a winter white-out storm or head to the golf course for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and sledding (perfect for kids)! In the summertime, you can walk to the weekly concerts at the beach, the farmers market, river rafting the Truckee river, playgrounds, golf, literally everything is just a stone's throw away.

The great room of our home is perfect for hanging out with the whole group. The kitchen opens to the dining and living area for the textbook place for the whole crew to hang out, whether cooking, dining, or chilling in front of the Niners or Giants game, you're all right there. The new dining room table is large enough for 8 adults with seating for 3 more at the bar.
Our 4 large bedrooms are flexible to accommodate many different groups. There is one bedroom with a king, 2 each with queen beds and the bunk room contains 2 bunks (4 twins). There is a TV and cable in a room downstairs so the kids can watch a movie and rest after a day on the mountain, while the adults enjoy a big dinner.

We just bought our dream come true mountain home this November, and can't wait to share it with you. In our first few weekends visiting our new home, we can be heard saying;

I have been renting places in Tahoe my entire life. I was always a huge fan of places that had toys for me to play with. So I have begun to fill our garage with toys to share with my family, friends, and renters. I have 2 pairs of snow shoes, men's and women's. Go stomp through the golf course. We have 5 sleds for sliding down the mountain. We added the bottom deck and hot tub, winter deserves hot tubs! We have also started putting together a coffee table book to guide you through all the good times to be had, places to eat, secret beaches, and hidden treasures.

Very clean and private studio (bedroom + bathroom and kitchenette) in beautiful Tahoe City Cabin: best location!
We are perfectly located in Tahoe City: just steps away from unique Skylandia and Bristlecone parks and beaches. We are 5 mn drive from excellent restaurants, unique boutiques, best coffee shops and beautiful landmarks; but no need to drive to access amazing beaches and incredible views.
Private parking area shared with owner of the property, children welcome! note: deck not incl.

Private space: no areas will be shared with other guests. This is completely private.

We are located on a very calm street, just minutes (walking) from two incredible beaches.

Public transportation is available in Tahoe, however, we do recommend having your own car.

IMPORTANT - The transient occupancy tax will be included in your total, you do not have to worry about paying this fee upon arrival or check out.

CANCELATION POLICY: if you are concerned about our strict cancellation policy, please be sure to purchase travel insurance as we will not be offering additional refunds. Airbnb suggests InsureMyTrip and Squaremouth.
This insurance will be helpful in case of weather, fire, pandemics or other circumstances which would cause you to cancel your trip.
We only refund if it is necessary for us to close our Airbnb due to unexpected circumstances. When you sign our Airbnb contract, you acknowledge you have a strict cancellation policy.

COVID: If we are forced to shut our rental due to the COVID outbreak, we will be refunding your stay. However, if Airbnbs in our area are able to operate, no refunds will be given to guests who book after 3/15/2020, this is again, why we suggest purchasing travel insurance. (affordable and piece of mind)

FIRES/SMOKE/AQI: If we are forced to shut our rental/evacuate due to a fire we will be refunding your stay. However, if Airbnbs in our area are able to operate despite fires that are not a danger to our area, poor air quality and smoke, no refunds will be given.

DATE CHANGES:
All changes between 7 to 14 days prior to arrival will be charged a 20% fee.
All changes between 3 to 7 days prior to arrival will be charged a 50% fee.
No changes will be accepted within 48 hours of arrival.
No exceptions, thank you for your understanding.

Please let us know if you have any questions, we are happy to go over any house/guest rule with you.

- Absolutely no smoking or drugs on the property (there will be a $350 deep cleaning fee if guests smoke in the home)
-Absolutely no parties/gatherings, there will be a fee of a minimum of $500 for parties.
-Please note: this listing is for 2 guests only, we sometimes make exceptions but it MUST be approved prior to your arrival date. If this is not respected, there will be an additional fee after check-out of $150/night per extra guest.
