- "I don't generally leave reviews, but this particular property definitely deserves comment! Most of the other reviews comment on the location by the river and that is certainly true. Not being familiar with Reno, we were a bit concerned as we were driving up to the property; however, once we entered the premises any concern disappeared. We've stayed in our fair share of VRBO's but I will say this was my favorite here in the US. Hands down! Sign me up, I'd move in! The unit has been recently renovated and everything inside is clean, new and tastefully done--the furniture, the artwork, everything. Also, the owner leaves the most professional information/instruction binder I've ever seen in a rental. For those concerned about beds, these are new memory foam mattresses and they were very comfortable. I prefer a soft mattress and have shied away from memory foam, but this changed my mind! For those concerned about noise with the train tracks being close by, we didn't find it to be a problem. We are "early risers" and I think the first train went by around 6:30 am. We had the windows open so we heard it, but with windows closed it wouldn't have been too noticable. My compliments to the owner--well done and VERY much appreciated!!!"

Welcome! This is a very laid back house. I rent out two bedrooms and it’s a chill vibe. We all kindof keep to ourselves in our rooms but chat when we’re in the common areas. I live here so I’m welcoming you into my home, not a hotel. I have a German Shepherd that’s very friendly but he sheds like a mofo, so I sweep every day, but you will inevitably see tumbleweeds blow by. 😂 Perfect for an extended stay. Comfortable room, dedicated bathroom. Less than 10 mi from downtown Reno, this lovely home was built in Sept of 22. Super clean, your room has a recliner, work desk, and mini fridge. Washer and dryer available upon request. Microwave, Keurig Coffee & Tea provided. Two friendly chihuahuas live downstairs. Bedrm and bathrm located upstairs. The home is occupied by the owner only. All surfaces sanitized, shower curtain, rugs, & all bedding washed after each guest. Very clean. Strong water pressure

Bedroom door locks from the inside. Hangers and extra blankets provided. Notepaper and pen provided in the desk drawer. Private bathroom has hair dryer, washcloths and towels. Tissues, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and disposable razor provided. Security Cameras, downstairs only. These cameras are monitoring common areas only and are on a different floor from the guest bedroom and bathroom. Guest may cook in the kitchen upon request. Must clean all surfaces if cooking.

Please enjoy the guest bedroom and bathroom at the top of the stairs. Please use the kitchen table if needed and the back yard. Please do not use the downstairs bathroom. I will provide a 4 digit code to you for unlocking and locking the front door.

Other things to note
If you need to meal prep for the week in the kitchen, this is not a good stay for you. There is not usually available space in the main fridge/freezer for guest foods. Please keep your food in the guest fridge. (Check with me to see if there is room in the main fridge/freezer before stocking up) This stay allows use of the microwave, keurig, and provided silverware and coffee cups/drinkware. You may be able to cook in the kitchen upon request. Just clean all surfaces/floor spills and leave your dishes, rinsed, in the sink.

Quiet and cozy 1st floor bedroom with a dedicated full bathroom (outside the room) in a large house on a quiet neighborhood. Amenities include a queen size bed, a 42 inch smart TV, fast wifi internet connection, a walk-in closet and a work desk. We have a friendly old dog named Tyson who loves to be petted!
