Please note that this listing is just for the upstairs unit of a larger 5 bedroom, 2 story home. The downstairs unit will be locked so both units will be completely private.

Our location is unbeatable! Not many homes are situated as close to Downtown Lodi as we are where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant local energy. Walk to your favorite wineries, breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, wine festivals, farmers markets, etc without worrying about driving or parking. Please note that there is no garage parking but plenty of street parking around the home.

There are two bedrooms upstairs. Each bedroom has plush new mattresses and comfortable bedding ensuring a perfect night`s rest.

Please note that this is a smaller two bedroom without a living room or dining area. There is plenty of street parking but garage parking is not available. The upstairs unit also does not have a washer / dryer and a dishwasher.

PETS:
We welcome up to two house trained dogs for an additional $125 per dog. We appreciate you keeping an eye on your dogs and kindly ask that they do not jump on the beds and furniture. Dogs should be crated inside the home when owners are out. Damage to the property will incur additional charges.

HOUSE RULES:
- QUIET HOURS: The neighborhood Noise Curfew starts at 10pm. If you wish to play music passed 10pm, please ensure the noise level is at a minimum.
- NO SMOKING: No smoking of any kind (cigarettes, vapors, marijuana, etc) indoors. If you wish to smoke outdoors, please pick up after yourself.
- NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS: A max of 4 guests are allowed and all guests must be a part of your reservation.
- OTHER: Removing shoes indoors helps us maintain a clean home. Illegal activity is not allowed inside the home.

RENTAL AGREEMENT & CHECK IN PROCESS
Guests are required to sign a short-term rental agreement prior to check-in. The agreement outlines house rules, liability, and property use. We also ask guests to provide an ID and CC upon booking. These additional security measures had to be implemented to prevent fraudulent bookings. A link with all of this information will be provided upon booking. If you are not comfortable with any of this information, you are welcome to cancel within 24 hours of booking as long as it`s not a same day booking.

EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT:
We offer early check in and late check out when we do not have another reservation checking in or out that same day. You can check in as early as 12pm and check out as late as 3pm for an additional $50 each. Please request early check in / late check out within 24 hours of your check in date so we can check out most up to date calendar to see if we can accommodate your request.

If you`d like to guarantee an early check in / late check out, we can block the day before /after for $100.

Welcome to the Sideways House, named for its gracious entrance located on the side of the home, and a nod to the iconic movie that put wine tasting on the map. This stately home was built in 1926 and is perfectly located on one of "old" Lodi's most desirable tree-lined streets, and arguably the best VRBO for easy walking distance to tasting rooms, restaurants, theaters, parks and downtown.
This gorgeous home has been recently redecorated and lovingly brought back to her original grandeur. There is a large living room with beautiful, original molding, hardwood floors and grand windows. Ample comfortable seating is provided and a flatscreen TV, and fireplace will help you feel right at home. The living room opens up into a fun bar area that also provides access to the outside eating area. The beautiful, large dining room seats 8. The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances. (The home can be stocked with groceries if so desired) A cute, sunny kitchen eating area welcomes you in and offers a wonderful view of the large yard, fish pond and bocce court.

There are four beautifully appointed bedrooms which accommodate up to eight guests. Fine linens, down comforters (Non down bedding may be requested), robes and comfortable beds await you. Each bedroom has a television, IHome alarm clock, luggage rack and at least two windows in each bedroom to let in the cool breeze or warm sunshine.

An additional $250 will be charged to your credit card on file if more people stay in the house that aren't on the reservation or without the host being notified.
Unless pre-arranged check out time is 11am. There will be a late checkout additional fee of $12 per 15-minute increments for the first 30 minutes. After the first 30 minutes, $24 per 15 minutes’ increments.

Mimi's Downtown Cottage is a gem of an early 1900 house. It has a fabulous location, downtown Lodi, with many restaurants, tasting rooms, microbrews, movie theater, boutique shops and antique stores just blocks away. You can't stay any closer to downtown than this.

The Guest enjoys an entire home to themselves. The sunny cottage retains its charm with beveled glass double doors inside, lovely woodwork and original multi-pane windows. The kitchen is totally new but retains it's character with a farm house sink and touches of Blue and White Willow. The kitchen has a four burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer and all the utensil needed in a kitchen to make meals.

House has always been very clean. Cleaning is now based upon guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after each guest leaves.

A Jack and Jill Suite provides two bedrooms both with queen size beds. The spacious living room and dining room repeat the blue and white décor and provides a 3rd sleeping area with a queen sofa sleeper. Your bedroom has a smart TV with 150+ free channels along with Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Vudu, redbox, etc. You can sign-in to your account (please logout of your account on Netflix, Hulu, etc. before checking out). Your bedroom also has a desk, bench, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, portable heater, and portable fan. The queen size bed is a pillow top mattress.

Your private room and private bathroom is on the ground floor. The upstairs is off limits to the Airbnb guests.

You can sit and enjoy yourself in the living room and formal dining room. You can also enjoy the backyard where you can wine and dine!

The kitchen may only be used by guests that book for 3 nights or more.

The house has WiFi, central heat/AC, and a security camera.

Guest access
There are two adults, three cats, and one dog that occupy the house and sleep upstairs. Your private bedroom and bathroom are located on ground level, so the upstairs is off limits to our Airbnb guests.

All of the ground level area is available to our guests, except for the garage.

The kitchen, small dining table, and family room is more for us, the residents. On the weekends I have friends and family that come to visit and have dinner with me.

Please use the mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker that are in your room for your convenience.

*Cooking in the kitchen is only available to guests that book 3 nights or more. Additional cleaning fees apply when guests don’t clean up after using the kitchen.

There are some fantastic restaurants in Lodi. I highly recommend taking advantage of them while here in town!

During your stay
If you need some recommendations for restaurants, wineries, or places to go I can help you with that! I also provide a wine map and restaurant menus if needed. Lodi also has skydiving and kayak/paddle board rentals on Lodi Lake.

Other things to note
Maggie, the cattle dog will probably bark at you when you first arrive, but it’s just to warn us that guests have arrived. She is very friendly and will probably bring you toys for you to play with her. Sparkle, Pookie, & Punkin are outdoor/indoor cats, so you don’t have to worry about them getting out. They have a cat door in the laundry room so you might hear them come in and out.

We do our best to ensure our guest have an easy and smooth self check- in process. We will send our guest detailed instructions prior to arrival to assist with self check-in.

Bedrooms are meant to be relaxing and that’s just what you will find in our bedrooms. With comfort in mind, we provide our guest with comfy mattresses, extra pillows and cozy blankets in each room. Our master bedroom has one queen bed, bedroom two has two queen beds, bedroom three has one queen bed and bedroom four has one queen bed. Each room has it own dresser and ample closet space for hanging clothes or storage.

The Studio V is behind the Vintners cottage. The entire property is fenced and the rustic setting allows shared outside dining with a fire pit to enjoy the beautiful Lodi Valley evenings.

We are close to many award-winning wineries, that offer tours and wine tasting. The restaurants are excellent and the city is great for biking, running, or golf unless you feel like just relaxing and doing nothing.

The properties are located in the countryside of Lodi. This area is rural so technology can be "spotty" at times. We have a Verizon Mobile Wifi device and Direct TV in both units but since we are located in the country, service is not always fast and reliable. We would advise a back up plan if these are mandatory during your stay.

The space
During your stay you will enjoy a fully remodeled kitchen with modern appliances, a well stocked spice drawer, and all the space you need to cook all of your favorite dishes. The kitchen opens up to the spacious living room with plenty of comfortable seating for guests, lots of natural light, and a 65-inch television with LG TV channels provided and Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus apps available (subscriptions not included). Leading from the living room to the bedrooms and bathrooms is an open, central office space with a desk area and a hidden closet for the washer and dryer.

The master bedroom opens up into the backyard, which provides the perfect covered patio to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, or a glass of local wine while enjoying the evening Delta breeze. The master has a king size bed and 55inch television, two large closets, and also includes a newly built bathroom featuring a luxurious rain shower.

All three bedrooms provide ample closet space and lots of natural light, comfortable mattresses, and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The smaller each include their own 47 inch televisions. The hall bathroom is also newly remodeled, well stocked with toiletries, and has plenty of room for everything you need to get ready for the day.

The Oasis is centrally located near grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, wineries, breweries and more, along with easy access to both Highway 99 and Interstate 5.

Welcome to The Barber's Nook, a hidden gem in the heart of Lodi, CA! Whether you're a wine enthusiast, foodie, or outdoor adventurer, our cozy home offers the perfect retreat to experience all that Lodi has to offer. The Barber's Nook location is second to none! A 5 minute stroll to all that Downtown Lodi has to offer, 3 minute drive to beautiful Lodi Lake & Nature Trail, 5 minute drive to Lodi Adventist Hospital, and centrally located to all of Lodi's prestigious wineries.

The space
The Barber's Nook features a full living room with a sectional couch, 2 oversized comfy chairs for reading or watching TV, complete with soundbar for those movie nights. We offer 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, a dedicated office space, with printer, 1 bathroom with a full-size shower (no bathtub), and a fully equipped kitchen with the basic condiments. We have 2 separate outdoor seating areas: with a 4-person bistro style table in the front yard. The backyard is equipped with a gas grill, and lounge set complete with firepit and string lights to enjoy a nice relaxing night in.

While the Barber's Nook is a single level home, there are 3 steps leading into the home itself along with 2 steps going out to the backyard.

We'd like to share that this is our secondary home and not a full-time vacation rental. Please treat our space with care and respect. Absolutely no parties allowed.

Please be advised that there are 2 security cameras on the outside of the home. One in the front entry, 2nd located in the back. The cameras offer us peace of mind, offers our guests security all while ensuring your privacy in the home & backyard patio grilling space.

Any tampering of cameras and/or disruption of their functionality will result in immediate cancellation of your booking along with being financially responsible for any repairs needed.

Keys to Barber's Nook will be available to you in a lock box. Code will be provided on the day of check in.

Please note... while our home is considered a single level home there are 3 steps to get into the home and 2 going out the back door of the home.

You do have full access to the house with the exception of 2 closets and the garage, where the washer & dryer is located. If you know you will want to use the washer and dryer, simply let us know and we will give you access to that space.

The backyard for the most part is a private space, but you should know that The Barber's Nook is connected to Howard's Barber Shop (my husband Curtis' business) and there may be times during the day Tuesday - Saturday that you may hear and or see a barber take trash to the garbage bins. In the same token when The Barber's Nook is rented, we will ask that our barbers refrain from using the "shared" access. But this is a new venture for us, and we want to offer full transparency.

The Lodi Certified Farmers Market is held on Thursday evenings from May 16th to September 5th.

Guest access
You have full access to your suite and private bathroom, plus any shared common areas of the entire property. You will be given 2 separate smart lock codes––one to access the main door, and one more for your private suite. There is an extra lockbox with a set of keys for back-up so you'll always be covered.

During your stay
The owner, Jaydon, is on-call for anything you need. We also have an on-site manager who lives in the fully detached granny flat at the very back of the property (about 100 yards from the main house). We will provide her contact information should you need help with anything during your stay. As you'll see, she's the nicest and most hospitable person ever (and works at one of the top wineries in Lodi!). And you won't even know she's there unless you have any issues at which you'll be happy she's nearby to help.

Enjoy the Lodi Lounge located just outside of Downtown Lodi. Our charming lounge is a 2 bedroom 1 bath home built in 1936. It is minutes from wine tasting, breweries, weekly farmer's market, and restaurants. Drive, walk or even bike around downtown Lodi with our tandem bike included in your rental. We hope you enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of Lodi wine on the deck, curl up on the sectional, or hangout in the back yard while you BBQ and hop in the hop tub!
