The Space:

This beautifully decorated room is comfortable and very quiet. Features include a California King bed, a cozy reading chair, a desk for those needing to work during their stay, and a flatscreen TV with cable and high speed Internet access. The bedroom also features a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot and a tea kettle. While staying with us, you'll have your own private full-bath located next to your room.

This flat is newly renovated and includes a full kitchen, completely equipped with granite counter tops, microwave, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. The bedroom has Bay views, with a queen-size bed. The living room/dining room has stunning views of the bay, a large deck, television and gas fireplace. New wood floors were recently installed. Includes washer/dryer. A sofa bed in the living room accommodates additional guests. It is also possible to open up an additional bedroom for occasional visitors. Cable, WiFi and all utilities included. One bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen and for the exclusive use of the guests. It was remodeled just this winter. We are not entrepreneurs. We are an elderly couple who are just trying to make ends meet by renting out the front apartment of our two apartment duplex.
When you arrive at the apartment, you will find everything you could possible want, so you can relax after your trip: Cup of lovely tea or frothy cappuccino? Glass of wine? Sparkling water? Snacks? Yes, we have all that covered for you! Be sure to check out the great (if I say so myself) photos and video of the apartment.

We live in the back apartment of the duplex so we are readily available for any of your ongoing needs. Please just call or text and we will be at your disposal.

Please note that the City of Berkeley charges a 14% tax for short term rentals. If you rent the apartment for fewer than 14 nights, the tax is built into the charge that we pay directly to the city. There is no tax for longer stays.
