The open floor planned studio consists of a full kitchen, study area, large closet, and full size bathroom. The kitchen has all appliances expect dishwasher. The kitchen consists of coffee station and essential cooking gadgets with all basic pantry ingredients to easily make home cooked meals. Inside you will find a full size Tempur-Pedic bed with comfortable fluffy soft pillow and bedding, love seat, writing desk with chair, 2 seats dining table, and TV with BYOL (Bring Your Own Login) streaming features. The space is heated and cooled with central air and an additional space heater is ready to use if needed. There is a shared laundry room that is accessible to guests with reservations longer than 3 nights.

This Studio Unit is attached to the main house on the first floor with its own entrance. The entrance is located on the right side of the house with its own patio. With your own entrance and small front porch, you will feel like you have entered your own cozy home. The patio area is your own dedicated space to enjoy time outdoors. There are plenty of street parking available right in front of the property.

Cozy Clean Studio Apartment in Pinole with private entrance. We are tucked away on a hilltop with full access to enjoy our backyard garden patio with ocean views and colorful sunsets over the San Pablo Bay and Napa Valley. The unit is very clean, warm and quiet with quick access to the I-80, Old Town Pinole restaurants, cafes, farmers market, plentiful waterfront bayside hiking options and more .

We’ve hosted many nurses and business travelers who say our place was the cleanest they’ve encountered in the area.

The space:
We offer a full kitchen, comfy queen bed, 2 person dining table, lounge chair, closet space, all wood 6 drawer dresser, high speed wifi, SMART TV with ROKU streaming, and laundry access. We have central heat available for the winter months and a control remote ceiling fan for the warmer months. The bathroom has a bidet toilet and rain shower head. In 2021 we upgraded the unit with a skylight for better ambiance. We have a whole-house water filter so our water is extra pure.

This unit is very private so its perfect for couples, wine country tourists, business professionals, traveling nurses etc. Plenty of parking is available in our driveway or on the street. The neighborhood is very safe. If you are visiting friends and family in the area, you already know the lodging options are limited around here. This is a great way to be close but have your own space too.

Pinole is equidistantly located between the Napa Valley Wine Country (25 miles) and San Francisco (23 miles). Check out Pinole on a map to confirm. There is public bus line that stops once an hour on a nearby corner of our street with a Bus Terminal connection to a daily express bus to Downtown San Francisco. The nearest bart is a 12 minute drive or about 6 miles away.

We less than a mile (.8) walking distance to Old Town Pinole with small shops, bars and nice restaurants options like the buzzing Pear Tree Bistro, King Valley Chinese Restaurant with freshly made Dim Sum, and others. The trendy East Bay Coffee Company is a local highlight with high quality coffee and a lively co-working environment. There is a Trader Joes, Sprouts, Walgreens, Peets, Chipotle, MOD Pizza and more in the same area. If it is not available, we can offer a parking space in our driveway for one compact-size car only. The car must park in the designated space in the driveway, and should not block our driveway and garage. Larger vehicle, truck or SUV must park on the street.

Please be aware that you have to use stairs to reach the apartment. Due to the steep stairs and vertical nature of this space, it is not really kid-friendly. Also, please note that we live upstairs and have a child of our own. Please understand that we will try our hardest to keep the noise level down, but that inevitably you may hear our child play or do what children do. If you require total silence to enjoy your stay, this space is probably not for you.

You can catch Uber/Lyft to Richmond BART (less than 10 minutes away) and access the whole Bay Area including both Oakland and San Francisco Airports. One stoplight to I-680, $10 Uber ride to BART or bike it on Iron Horse trail, one walkable mile to Pleasant Hill city center, there's a tasty 24 hour cucina next to Safeway, 24 hour 7-11 three blocks away. A very walkable/bikeable location tucked away inside a quiet subdivision.

This room has just one window, which opens to the air conditioned sun room that was once an outdoor patio. You've got a fancy room fan in addition to the ceiling unit and the cohost right across the hall, who has the hottest room in the house, chases the heat of the day away with a mobile high velocity shop fan.

Private room, in a 3-bedroom house with attached converted garage studio. In the main house, one room of the 3 bedrooms is used as an office, the other two rooms are guest rooms. The other room (Master bedroom) is currently occupied by a male family member.

Your hosts live in the attached converted garage studio. We are just a message away if you ever need us. We do have a dog named Rocky! He is rarely in the main house without us but roams the backyard often. Just let us know if he is ever being too friendly!

The private room has a Streaming Smart TV with Netflix, and other apps included.

During your stay
My husband, our dog, and I, live in the converted garage studio attached to the main house. We are empty nesters without a lot of frequent visitors. Family visits occasionally, mostly around the holidays. Sunday is usually when we do laundry. Laundry is available for guests all other days. You are welcome to interact with others as much as you feel comfortable, we are all friendly, sociable people. Some prefer to keep to themselves and that is acceptable as well.

The backyard is fully landscaped and available for outdoor relaxation. The yard area to the right out the back door is for the studio space. Please use the yard area to the left when wanting to be outdoors.

Other things to note
Free street parking close to property. There is usually parking right in front of the house. With street parking, we park front or back end to the curb in order to fit more cars.

The house has a big front and back yard. Neighborhood quiet and only 10 min walk to Bart the fast train to San Francisco and 10 min walk to downtown and beautiful trail for hiking behind the house.

Important: The property is already being occupied by 4 people, please make sure you read and agree to the house manual so you and all tenants feel comfortable during your stay with us.

This is a great place to relax and feel comfortable after a long day of work and/or tourism!
