New home in Paradise. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood that has some surviving homes and trees from the fire of 2018. The home is located in a convenient area of Paradise with easy access to Magalia or Chico. The home has an open concept living and kitchen area. The garage is not accessible to guests. We have a different sofa than the one pictured.
- "Home was more than we were expecting. Check in was simple, house was super clean. Host even checked in with us to make sure all was good. Located in quiet neighborhood, felt extremely safe there. Unlike some areas in Paradise that are still rebuilding, this neighborhood felt complete, no construction sounds or vacant lots filled with construction supplies/equipment. House had everything you could need for feeling at home, and host provided nice information on the area and menus for local eats. Note for EV drivers -This was our first road trip with electric car. EV charging would have been nice to have at the house (may have had it, but garage unavailable and I did not think to ask ahead of time), but Tesla Super Charger right at the bottom of the hill on the way to Hwy 99 at Chico Target so was simple to charge up on our way out of town. If you are afraid to stay in Paradise because no chargers listed for Paradise (I was alittle concerned before trip), don't let that stop you, was not an issue for us at all. I hope to stay here for all our future family visits to the area!"

Centrally located in the rebuilding town of Paradise. Every home on our street was lost in the 2018 Camp Fire, but as of right now, there are 10 rebuilt homes on the street. There is new hope for this small mountain community. The home is decorated in a cozy cottage look with very comfortable beds, everything you need in our fully stocked kitchen. Excellent internet and a smart TV to stream all of your favorite entertainment. There is an outdoor table for dining and beautiful sunsets. The garage and laundry are not accessible to guests.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located on a quiet street in the rebuilding town of Paradise. Enjoy an open 3 bedroom home with a cabin style decor. Relax in the evenings around the dining table on the front patio with a pretty treescape view. In the winter relax in the living room enjoying the fireplace. I guarantee you will quickly feel right at home. Garage is not available to guests.

You are welcome to our cozy spot at 12760 Center Gap Road. This place is all about kicking back, enjoying the views, and having a blast in serene nature. You’ve got 17 acres all to yourself, complete with a back deck that shows off 360 degree canyon views all around.
Need to unwind? Dive into our jacuzzi tub or hang by the propane fire pit. It’s all good here. If you’re up for some fun, hit up Center Gap Road on foot or bike. You’ll find an awesome view at Lookout Point that’s totally worth the trip. Or, if you’re feeling like a swim, the Iron Bridge is just a mile down the road. It’s a local fave spot to cool off in Butte Creek.
Oh, and keep your eyes peeled for the deer family that likes to wander around here. They’re part of the crew, along with all the other critters that call this place home.

A smart TV is available for all your streaming needs, and the vintage-inspired kitchenette boasts a Galanz fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. A gas grill is available outside if you'd prefer to cook alfresco and enjoy the radiant sunshine.
Outside, appreciate lovely views from the patio. Located just 200 yards from creek access, this property offers immediate access to swimming and tubing. Or enjoy kayaking from February to mid-May. You might even bump into wild Chinook Salmon! The salmon arrive from the Pacific Ocean around mid-April, spawning in late August or early September. Butte Creek is only one of two Sacramento Valley creeks that harbor wild salmon. While exploring the area, be sure to visit Butte Creek Country Club, Hooker Oak Park, Degarmo Park, and the Barry R. Kirshner Wildlife Sanctuary. Downtown Chico boasts plenty of dining and shopping options.
This tiny hideaway is tucked into the geological wonder known as Butte Creek Canyon, dubbed the “Grand Canyon of California.” Its headwaters begin at over 7,000 feet in elevation near Jonesville and empty out south of Chico, elevation of 240 feet. That’s a big carved-out trench in just 40 miles!
Chico Velo and other bicycle enthusiasts use Honey Run Road and Centerville Road, the canyon’s two main arteries, for cycling. The yearly Wildflower event brings in thousands of riders in April. The Butte Creek Canyon Ecological Preserve is a 287-acre riparian park. Walking trails, creek access, and native natural wildlife habitat make it a favorite spot for photographers and nature buffs.
Historically, Butte Creek was as far north as a 49er could go and strike it rich during the Gold Rush. Gold extraction continued with dredging operations until the 1930s, and private mining operations further upstream continue. The Colman Museum, the single-room Centerville Schoolhouse, presents the rich history of the canyon, including the Maidu and Mechoopda nations that graced the canyon prior to the Gold Rush. In 2018, half the homes in Butte Creek Canyon were lost. But the canyon is resilient, not only its people, but its fauna and wildlife are making a huge comeback as well. For those scientifically-minded, the canyon offers a way to see firsthand post-fire recovery.

- "My wife and I rent a lot of vacation homes and I rarely leave reviews but this is one of the best! The description on the website doesn’t come close to describing what is offered in this house. I’ll start with the kitchen, Two separate sinks! We prepared a large Thanksgiving dinner in it with four people working in the kitchen at the same time and kept saying how nice two sinks are. Double oven, island counter, plenty of counter space, regular coffee maker and Keurig and she supplies the coffee, sweetener and creamer! Every bedroom has a frig, microwave and coffee maker also, something I’ve never seen before. All the bathrooms are fully equipped including new toothbrushes and tooth paste. Your space is a beautiful 600 sq ft bedroom suite with a private entrance on your own floor. Lots of windows allow for plenty of sunshine and fresh air. Outside your front door is a semi-private patio and hot tub overlooking a peaceful pond fed by a year round creek.
You will have your own designated parking spot with a solid sidewalk leading you to your entrance.
Your kitchenette will be stocked with coffee, tea, sweeteners, and cream. In addition you will find some "yummy" breakfast treats. If you would like Belgian Waffles one morning, I will be happy to bring them down to you fresh off the griddle!

You are allowed full access to the yard and hot tub. You also have your own parking space. The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator, hotplate, and microwave. Should you like to do some outdoor cooking, let us know. We have a grill available for your use!

Centrally located in the rebuilding town of Paradise. Every home on our street was lost in the 2018 Camp Fire. We are the fourth home to be rebuilt on the street. There is new hope for this small mountain community. Decorated in a cozy cottage look with comfortable beds and everything you need in our stocked kitchen. Excellent internet and a smart TV . There is an outdoor table for and gas grill.
Our local marina, Line Saddle, has boat, paddle board and kayak rentals for a day on the lake.

You will enter through private entrance with secure off street parking. First room you see is large private living room with pool table, sectional sofa, big screen tv, kitchenette and dining room. One and 1/4 acre property (shared with onsite host), are available for you to enjoy, including English Garden, fire pit, seasonal creek, fruit orchard, barbecue and outside dining. For an additional $20, you can have laundry room access.
