- "I would give the Imperial Hotel and its staff 10 stars if I could. It is true that it is in a perfect location, the rooms are beautiful and well-appointed and the hotel, overall, is just majestic. For me, however, it was the compassionate care that the staff showed me. Due to a sudden illness of my father, I had to leave Ireland immediately, and the front desk - both day and evening - did everything they could to ensure that I left Cork safely, off to Dublin and then back to NYC as soon as I could and they took care of me, while I grieved. They also refunded my last night, even though I had paid in full - the care they showed me is more than anything I could have asked for and I will be only staying at The Imperial when in Cork. I hope to go back and thank the front desk in person. Thank you to you all - I am so grateful."

Room was large and had everything you could want/need. Plenty of towels, lots of lovely high quality (The White Company) toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee, safe and the largest TV I’ve ever seen in a hotel bedroom. Beds super comfy too. Check out easy and staff happy to order a taxi for us to the airport which turned up within minutes and also provided us with a free eco friendly carton of water each for the journey. Highly recommend The River Lee and will definitely stay there again."

- "The Kingsley is now going to be our go to hotel when staying in Cork City. It is such a beautiful hotel from the moment you walk through the main entrance all the way to the guest rooms. We checked-in late in the evening and the young woman at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a "King Room" which was nicer than most high end five star hotels we've stayed in. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever had. The room had full air conditioning, a dining table, separate small office area with a work desk, the most beautiful bathroom with full bath, twin sinks and a very nice shower. The bathroom also had complimentary Rituals shower gels, soaps, shampoos etc. Also in the room were a proper hairdryer, iron & ironing board, coffee maker, tea kettle, robes and slippers and a really fantastic TV with access to a secured private chromecast system so you can use your own favourite streaming services on the big screen if you wish or need to keep little ones entertained. To top off the guest experience the room also has the most fantastic "Virtual Concierge" system via a tablet device. On this you are able to order room service, dinner reservations check out hotel amenities etc and it was just a revelation to use. No more waiting on busy phones to be answered or searching through inch think binders looking for a hotel service.
