Wake Up to Breathtaking Views! Are you looking for a place to pitch your tent? Here's the perfect spot. Located in the Village of Eyeries, we have room for up to 8 tents. Close to pubs, a cafe, and shops, sit back and soak in the tranquility. Safe swimming on our local beach and plenty of hiking along the coast is a real draw to the area. Also close to the town of Castletownbere, Kenmare and the Ring of Kerry. This is a stunning location! Tom and Carmel manage this tent camping site, which is also our home. The only rules are to have fun, relax, and stay safe.
Note: you MUST bring your own tent and sleeping bags. If u forget we have one tent for two people for 5.50 euro per night. We also have two sleeping bags at 2.25 euro per night each. Talk to us about other services that are available for a reasonable charge

Galadriels Gypsy Caravan
This is very basic off-grid camping, with no electric, Wi-Fi, or flush toilet,
and no 2WD car access for the last 1.5k.
Its a remote 'Lothlorien', in the rain forest, mountains, rivers and lakes of The Wild Atlantic Way, The Beara Way & Glengarriff Nature Reserve.
Glengarriff village is a short drive or a long walk, with shops, market, restaurants, bars, live music, and the sea.
Recommend more than 1 night, to explore the place.

The space
You have a choice of two simple cosy gypsy caravans, each with a double mattress. Bring your own sleeping bag if possible. Pillows provided.
There is a campfire space, and log-shed with logs to chop. There is a basic old shed kitchen with cooker, crockery, cutlery, drinking water and sink. Outside theres a long-drop toilet and a pond for bathing.
Guest access
Skyhil is in the middle of a large natural ancient forest and mountain area -which you have direct access to: Including Skyhil Stone Circle, Cuckoo Rock view point, swimming ponds and rivers, such as The Pooleen, and wood and hill walks to Lady Bantrys Lookout, Barley Lake and Sugarloaf Mountain. (not suitable for kids 12 and under)
Other things to note
* I can sometimes give guests lifts, but encourage you to walk if poss.
* I have my own board game based on Lord of the Rings, if you are interested - let me know.
This site is not suitable for kids 12 and under as it has open water and cliff drops.

She is situated close by Eyeries village on a very quiet road in rugged rural surrounding, where you can rest assured.Enjoy the sea views and step out onto the enjoyable coastal loop walk along part of the picturesque Beara Wild Atlantic Way.
The space
SuperNova is not your average holiday home. She's much more unique.
There are a few bits and bobs we will have to tell you to make your stay more comfortable, relaxing and safe once you are here. There is ample parking just a short walk from superNova. There are steps leading up to the main entrance and two steps inside. This leads you into a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The two sofa beds open out to two comfortable single beds. With it’s kingsized bed and plenty of cupboards for your belongings, the main bedroom is the perfect place to relax. The shower is small and very basic. There is plenty of hot water for a three-minute period, but the water pressure is low to medium. If you're looking for a long pressured shower. SuperNova is not for you. To the front of SurerNova there is allocated reading/work space. Even just sit and admire the view with a glass of wine or just a good ol cuppa.

We will greet you, once you are at the property. Please come to the main house ring the bell ( is very loud) We will be happy to show you around.
The lower part of our garden is not accessible and is roped off with sign’s (please do not pass this point) to guests. However the higher garden is accessible to guests here you can sit and enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets.
