Our Cabin and Lodge is located on the Property of Camp Winston a non profit camp for Neurodiverse children. By staying with us you are contributing to our ongoing ability to provide an incredible experience for our campers. We have the Cabin with three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, as well as the Lodge with 5 bunkbed rooms and 2 large Bathrooms on the main floor, a Games room, Kitchen and Living/Dining room, all contained in one building. The hot tub is steps away from the cabin with a great view of the lake. Any other question feel free to ask

Guest access
The Cabin/Lodge is off to the side of the property and has a great view of the lake from the cabin and hot tub. We would ask you stay in that designated area of the camp and refrain from exploring the main camp for safety reasons. Feel free to hike the private road as it provides a tranquil feeling of being surrounded by the trees and rock of Muskoka. We also ask you to stay away from the lake in the winter months as we are located next to the mouth of the river and the ice is not safe. If you are bringing snowmobiles it's a short ride to Franklin Park with easy access to the lake.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS:
There are noise monitors installed in the property at the back deck patio area. The noise monitors do NOT record conversations. It only monitors audio level on the property. Noise complaints resulting from guests violating the excessive noise bylaws will be fined $1500.

There is also an outdoor security camera at the front of the property.

GARBAGE:
Guests can use the animal proof bin at the front of the cottage near the main door. At the end of the stay, guests are required to take their garbage with them upon departure. There's a waste disposal site called Beiers Road Landfill Site that's only a 15-minute drive away, and on-route to the GTA. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $100 per bag.

WATER SAFETY:
- This is a waterfront property, so guests are responsible for ensuring water safety. Children should always be supervised as the water can be deep.

- The hottub may not be suitable for those with certain health risks such as high blood pressure, heart conditions and skin sensitivity. Please enjoy the hottub at your own risk and ensure to follow the instructions provided.

Guest can use kayaks, Hydrobike or any other water equipment at their own risk.

SEPTIC SYSTEM:
The property uses a fragile septic tank system. Please DO NOT flush anything other than small amounts of toilet papers. If it's determined that a septic tank failure was caused by guest negligence, a charge of $1500 will be applied for the repairs of the system.

The space
You will vacation on a pristine Muskoka lake in a cottage designed to give you the feeling of being closely in touch with nature. You will be surrounded by trees, natural materials and colouring such as wood, stone and thatch. There’s so much to enjoy. Soak up all day sun on the dock, swim out to the floating platform or paddle around the lake, pay with kids in the sand or enjoy the warmth of the sunset on the dock or the patio, this unique cabin has it all.

Original paintings from artist that lived and painted in the area bring the beauty of the region into the living room and bedrooms.

This cozy and comfortable lodge offers the benefit of a high end build while maintaining the traditional Muskoka cottage vibes. Perfect for a gateway anytime of the year, located in Baysville, Cedar Beach Lodge is only 15 min to Huntsville, 25 min to Arrowhead and Hidden valley. Enjoy ice skating loop, x-country or downhill skiing in winter and plenty of beautiful hikes in summer. The waterfront is perfect for kids offering shallow water entry with a small sandy beach and getting deeper as you swim out. There’s no diving off the dock.

You will enjoy a wood burning hot tub on cooler days. It’s magical after the sunsets under the stars or hanging lights surrounded by towering trees. You can relax in warm lake water without the smell of chemicals.

Living and dining areas are open concept with cathedral ceilings, black accent panelling, Muskoka granite feature wall behind high efficiency wood stove.

Guests are welcome to use the full cottage property including all 3 levels of the cottage, laundry, outdoor waterfront and private sandy beach, and dock. Maintenance closet and storage/utility room are not accessible.
