Big picture window at front of the private guest house overlooks the chicken coop, pastures behind white picket fences, deer in the AM & cows in the PM, a vintage truck and SUNRISE!! On front porch is dining table w/ 6 chairs & sun umbrella, 4 adirondak chairs around a firepit, a bbq grill & a bocce court-we enjoyed them all during our 10 day stay. Loved having a big full kitchen with everything we needed; we cooked & grilled several times. We bring our own Vitamix blender on road trips, but they have a Ninja! & any other kitchen tool you might want. Perfectly comfy living area for two to stretch out & watch the big smart tv. No tv in bedroom, but for the one of us who needs noise, can turn on living tv loud enough to hear in bedroom & put it on sleep mode. Comfy bed & plenty of pillows to choose from. Bathroom sink area a bit small for two people who spread out, but we managed fine. Good sheets/towels. Not much need for the AC but it works fine, & screened windows & front door allow fresh air for most of the time. Owners nice & helpful & graciously allowed us to pull some fresh eggs from the hen house for special treat breakfasts. Location also perfect-easy access to most of our favorite wineries, close to Trader Joe’s & a great neighborhood to walk in–with horses & cows & longhorns & vineyards galore. Super quiet at night (and day); can see plenty of stars. Parking in drive out front, easy access to front door. Will return."

We named our home Treetop Lodge because to us the word “lodge” makes us think of a place that allows for everyone to gather together in a relaxed and comfortable manner.
The layout of the Lodge provides a good sense of flow and even if you come with a group there is lots of room to spread out for individual quiet time.
The large well-equipped kitchen is perfect for coming together. The patio and deck invite conversation and relaxation with a view complete with sprawling lounge chairs to spread out.
No matter where you are there is plenty of comfortable seating for all.
We are international teachers and our eclectic decorations reflect our stays in Taiwan, Cambodia, and China. We invite you to stay and relax at the Lodge!

You will feel very tucked in within the treetops, but when you want to get out the downtown is only a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute car ride. Downtown boasts wine tasting, an art studio, and a beautiful traditional downtown park complete with a Carnegie Library, which has become a Paso Robles museum. There is a Farmer’s Market in the park on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Wineries abound, so ask around to find out about locals’ favorites. From bike rides to beach trips, enjoy discovering all that Paso Robles has to offer.

Second story guest house on the West side of Paso Robles off Highway 46W. The guest house is situated on 27 acres which boasts 15 acres of planted vineyard, 350 olive trees, and pines. The bathroom has a spacious double vanity and walk in shower with multiple shower heads. The bedroom has a king size memory foam mattress and hypo allergenic pillows and lush comforter. The living room is a great place to relax after your day out enjoying the scenery. Sit and relax at the reclaimed barn wood dining table and enjoy the view. There are two outside seating areas to enjoy as well as your own parking. You can sit and enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda or enjoy your time on the patio below. This is the perfect place to come enjoy your time in Paso Robles and truly experience Paso living at it's best!!

I got the feeling that they wanted you to stay on the 1+ acre property surrounding the house, not walk down the road and off the property. The only other complaint was that the sliding glass doors were a struggle to open (one did not lock) and the screen doors were needing screen replacement. I still gave the property 5 stars (more if possible), and would definitely return again. When split with 2 couples, this is a fantastic value. Built around 1890 and in service as a one room schoolhouse until 1943, the Summit Schoolhouse is truly a special place. Located on Peachy Canyon Road in the Willow Creek AVA, a main artery connecting many Paso Robles west side wineries, you get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country, while still being only 15 minutes away from all that downtown Paso Robles and Templeton have to offer. If you have an electric or hybrid vehicle, there is a 50-amp plug for our guests to charge their cars.

Soaring 11 foot ceilings, give the cozy space a large and airy feel, which includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry, great room and gourmet kitchen. Situated on two terraced acres, the outdoor area is dotted with several walnut trees and includes a flagstone patio, handmade wine barrel dining table with seating for 8, bocce ball court, fire pit, native landscaping and Adelaida stone walls. Grilling outdoors on the Weber Genesis E-310 gas barbecue allows you to enjoy a game of bocce ball while getting dinner ready at the same time.

The schoolhouse was carefully restored, keeping all improvements period specific to maintain the integrity of the 110+ year-old structure. At the same time, we were able to add complementary upgrades such as marble and Caesarstone countertops in the kitchen and baths, Viking range and dishwasher, paneled French door refrigerator, Thelin pot belly-style stove in the living room, 55" Sony flatscreen TV, American Leather brand sofa bed (no springs...this one is so comfortable!), Wi-Fi, Direct TV and vintage lighting.

Restoratively, we recycled the 110+ year-old redwood that was taken from the original siding of the house to accommodate the addition, and use it to construct the kitchen island, over-range vent hood, window cornices and various cabinet doors. The original board and batten style wall construction was maintained throughout the new addition space and the original wood-trimmed screens were modified to fit the repaired windows. The original windows with hand blown glass panes and restored rope pulls remain in the main part of the house.

The expansive porch has seating for four and is perfect for coffee or a glass of wine and waving to the frequent cyclers that take advantage of the connectivity of Peachy Canyon Road from downtown to Vineyard Drive. There is also a dry-farmed hilltop vineyard that provides for a great view of the vine cycle from Spring to late November. After which, the area is buzzing with the local walnut harvest.

Remodeled Ranch style home in the middle of a working vineyard. Quiet and charming, yet only minutes from downtown Paso Robles. Enjoy amazing sunsets or relax in the inviting spa after a long day of wine tasting. Home was remodeled in 2017 and owners live in a nearby house on this 15 acre property.

Home has two large bedrooms and two full baths. The sofa also folds out into a sleeper. We do accept up to six guests at the property. Backyard is well lit and has multiple seating areas, including a covered patio. There is also a propane barbecue available for our guests.

This spacious one bedroom home-away-from-home has everything you need to make the most of your time in this historic region of Central California.

The bedroom has a plush queen size bed with a large closet, and en-suite full bathroom with a bathtub that offers guests the chance to relax in a soothing bubble bath and unwind.

The generous size living room has a sofa bed that pulls out into a queen size bed for extra guests. We love pets! Bring your fur family members! Please be mindful that all dogs must be on a leash when they are outside the home, including the patio area. The yard dividers have spaces that dogs can easily scurry under, and all animals (dogs especially) must be monitored and must stay in the designated yard. There is a lovely city park just across the street with a large green space and shaded picnic areas. And please, clean up after all pets, and then dispose of waste in a proper receptacle.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Littlefield Victorian is located in a peaceful, small-town neighborhood with roosters, goats and many birds making there homes here. You may also hear music from the local park, which is across the street, as it does host events at times. The park also has a public swimming pool. Please verify that it is open and the hours before planning to use it.

California’s second oldest bar, the Elkhorn, is a two block walk. In 1869 and 1870, the notorious outlaw Jesse James, and his brother Frank, frequented this bar while Jesse recovered from a gunshot wound at the nearby Drury James ranch, which was owned by a family member. Also within walking distance is the historic San Miguel Mission, founded in 1797.

There are some really great eating places that are a short walk away including Taco Mafia, Manny’s Pizza and Leo’s Cafe. There is also a Dollar General store for any last minute items you may need.

The residence is conveniently located a just off the 101 freeway. It is a short 10 minute drive to downtown Paso Robles. Multiple wine tour roads to many world-class wineries begin a short distance away. Cambria, the gateway to Hearst Castle, can be reached in under 35 minutes (depending on traffic and time of day.)
