As our special guest(s) you are granted one off-street parking space on the property. Parking is straight towards the back of the driveway entry. Please be courteous of the neighboring vehicles and space around you as there is only one way for egress. If you have more than one vehicle please park the second vehicle on the street (free of charge).

Farmers Market\- On Mondays from 2pm-4:30pm you can explore Farmers Market and shop from your favorite local produce and shops.

Sea Pines Golf Course- Sea Pines offers free live music outside for families and children on Saturdays. Bring your own lawn chair or set up "picnic style" while you enjoy food and beverages from the bar. Often times there will be bounce houses and slides for children as well.

Montana De Oro State Park- Take a short drive towards the beach! Once entering the state park you will have trails, coves, beaches and peaks to explore. There is a trail/walk for everyone at every level.

Elfin Forest- Is adjacent to the Morro Bay estuary. The Elfin Forest is known for its pygmy oaks, seabirds and coastal panoramas. This board walk style loop makes it convenient for those traveling with dogs or children.

Los Osos gets limited service from Lyft, Uber and taxi services due to location in a semi remote area. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please plan accordingly.

Baywood is a charming small beach community that sits right on the back bay. It has great spots to eat and hang out and is close to San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria and more! Please take a look at our Guidebook for suggestions and let us know if you have anything in particular that you're looking to do! Kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, the spa, bars, etc! There is a laundromat onsite that locals use regularly throughout the day. Please be mindful of their presence. These machines take coins but are not up to date. The public is welcome to use them as well as Baywood Cottage guests. Please keep in mind that Baywood Cottage is located across the street from a mobile home park. This space is occupied by families and children so please be respectful with noise and activity. Thank you for understanding.

Getting Around:
Everything you need is within walking distance a bike ride or a short drive. Please take into consideration that Uber, Lyft and taxi's have limited availability due to location in a semi remote area.

DOG POLICY: This property is dog friendly. There is an additional pet stay fee of $50 for booking with a dog. (Low shedding dogs under 50 pounds are allowed, dogs over 50 lbs with low shedding will be considered on a case by case basis.) If you are considering bringing your furry family member, please let the host know when you book. Montana De Oro State Park- Take a short drive towards the beach! Once entering the state park you will have trails, coves, beaches and peaks to explore. There is a trail/walk for everyone at every level.

Elfin Forest- Is adjacent to the Morro Bay estuary. The Elfin Forest is known for its pygmy oaks, seabirds and coastal panoramas.This board walk style loop makes it convenient for those traveling with dogs or children.

When applicable we charge a 65$ fee for early check in, late check out or date alterations. All date alterations will remain at the original nightly rate unless changing to dates that are of higher value.
You can not make reservations for someone else. We recommend purchasing a gift card and giving it to someone instead.
In booking our place you agree that you are financially responsible for covering replacement/repairs costs in the case that damages are caused by you and/or your associated party. We are not responsible for any damages done to your vehicle or any other personal property.
We do not accept check in or check out on major holidays.

Check out instructions for our guests are; clean dishes and place them in dish rack. Then please turn things off (ex turn off, BBQ propane, thermostat, lights) then close the windows and lock the doors. That's it! (for pet bookings please wash dog bowls and pick up poop)

In a quiet corner of Baywood Park sits a cozy home near many prime Central Coast attractions such as, Edna Valley and Paso Robles vineyards, the ocean side cliffs and mountain vistas, and close to Montana de Oro State Park, the miniature old trees and board walk in the Elfin Forest, an Audubon overlook, San Luis Obispo, Cambria, Hearst Castle, fishing, kayaking to the sand spit or along the bay and harbor, walking the quiet neighborhood streets and the many local trails, etc. The cottage is located across the street from the Morro Bay estuary with access just a few feet away. It's a short walk to old downtown Baywood Park with its Ale House, fresh bakery, farmers market, cafes and fine dining. For shopping enthusiasts, spend a day in Cambria or San Luis Obispo, which are a short drive away and support thriving restaurants and stores. Rent this home with a sense of humor as a giant rooster sits in the front yard ready to do battle with the bronze Los Osos bear next door. Wild flowers fill the yard in the spring. It's a restful and restorative location that has served us well for many years.

After WWII, my Aunt Millie (a nurse during the war in the Pacific) moved an 800 square foot cottage down to the waterfront, pioneering the community of Baywood Park. She placed her home in the middle of sand dunes across from the estuary and had the help of my grandfather and uncle making a gem of a cottage. Aunt Millie's great nephew built the central enjoyable feature of the home - the wood deck overlooking the bay. This is the favorite feature of the home for outdoor living. It overlooks the estuary, the changing tides and comings and goings of a great many birds. During the migratory season, wake up to the cooing of the birds on the bay.

It's just a short scenic drive off the 101 from SLO, yet offers countless miles of Kayaking, Hiking and Biking Trails-often overlooking breathtaking coastal vistas, tide pools, blow holes, challenging surf spots and world class birding with accessible wildlife viewing. It proudly has one of the few intact natural estuaries and water sheds today, which is also part of the Pacific Flyway - the Avian Superhighway.

You'll enter the property under an archway adorned with a surfing bear and our 2 acres have some great views back thru native pygmy oaks of Hollister Peak - one of the ancient 'Nine Sisters' volcanic chain including Morro Rock. We (the owners) live on the property in a separate stand alone house, where we enjoy fusing the casual coastal style with the back drop of the mesmerizing and rugged, yet every-changing vistas of the Central Coast.

Our Solar Powered Guest House features barn doors to 3 Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Comfy Queen Bed with 2 small night stands and sconce bedside lamps, with Ensuite Bathroom and heated marble floor, a walk in glass shower, hair dryer, make up mirror, folding luggage rack, smart TV on wall with shelves under, a side chair, small walk in closet, and sheer/pull down black-out curtains.
Bedroom 2: Comfy twin beds with small side tables, an office desk/chair/lamp, with a wall mounted Roku TV on wall above, a side chair, small built in closet, with sheer/pull down black-out curtains.
Bedroom 3: Comfy padded King Bed with 2 small side tables and bedside lamps, an office desk/chair/lamp, built in bench settee with 4 modern chairs and coffee table, folding luggage rack, Roku TV on stand, and long shelves with misc books, toys, cards & board games an exercise bike, small hand weights and bands, yoga mat, guitar and built in cabinets with a small hanging clothes cabinet. This room has sliding glass doors and long red curtains to a private patio shared with the kitchen glass door.

ALL ROOMS in the house have independent Mitsubishi split-unit HVACs with remotes, both of the Two Bathrooms have heated marble floors and walk in glass showers. The fully appointed Kitchen has a zelige backsplash and concrete style kitchen island with 3 barstools and countertop stainless steel water filter, a casual sofa and dining table with long bench and stools. The Living area has a built in bench banquet with a sofa and loveseat across and 5 small nested coffee tables, and a heated digital Fireplace on white washed stone hearth. The guest house has it's own private WiFi and 4 Smart/Roku TVs wireless speaker and a full laundry room with washer/dryer and iron. Unique touches like an antique phone booth and piano, a small bar area, a privacy patio off the Kitchen/King Bedroom with cafe tables, Adirondack lounge chairs and Loco outdoor propane griddle grill.

OUTSIDE (on the East of the property) the guest house has shared access to a fenced in outdoor hot tub spa and accompanying sauna hut with an Infrared Canadian hemlock color sauna (says seats 3, but 2 is better) with salt stones and little seating area *(upon request we have a folding massage table and local massage therapist references) adjoining is an outdoor open air hot/cold shower. In the front are 2 black wooden lounge chairs and an old Parisian round metal table and 4 chairs (with umbrella if wanted) You have your own gravel entrance and parking area with bench in front and a small fire pit seating area with 3 orange Adirondack chairs for seasonal Cali Poppies and 'Dark Sky' nights (and no street lights) not to mention corn holing too. Another authentic experience you may enjoy is that the Guest House is backed by our small garden and we can often share our hydroponic veggies, herbs, and fresh eggs from the chicken coop (but no roosters, so no need to worry about early wake up calls - although some neighbor's do) We also have an EV (Ford-Pass) fast charging station you can use upon request, as well as various beach items.

Well-behaved house trained Pets and Children of all ages are welcome but MUST BE ATTENDED TO AT ALL TIMES and please keep in mind the specific strict rules for hot tub and infrared sauna use. YOU are solely responsible for watching and being with your children and pets at ALL TIMES on the property and it is NOT baby proofed (lots of open cupboards, rough and sharp edges) and it does NOT have a fenced in yard, so dogs must be leashed when outdoors. You will need to remain in your part of the property at all times and must park in your own designated parking area. You'll have to go slow also, as coming in and out of your gravel area is tricky and the gravel has soft edges, and if needed (with directions from us) you can pull up onto a flat concrete sidewalk for no-step access into the house. We also have a Ring security system with self-check in keypad entry and several outdoor security cameras around most of the property, but your privacy is respected at all times, and you can interact with us as much or as little as you like.

Let us know if you'd like to borrow any items you don't find in the house, we have lots of "stuff" both beach or otherwise, and can often lend or point you in the right direction. All that said, we hope you'll really enjoy the SLO CAL Life here too.

DAY TRIP IDEAS :
The Los Osos Valley Guest House is a great base for day trips to explore the coast up to Hearst Castle and look for the wandering zebras, the huge (but aromatic) elephant seals & light house, or strolling thru charming Cambria's downtown and the raised boardwalks and driftwood forts on Moonstone Beach. You can also find miles of protected coastal trails and (often) empty surf spots all to yourselves at Montano de oro Park, Estero Bluffs or Harmony Headlands *(let us know if interested and we'll share some good surf spots) Cayucos Pier is a fun stop and has a little shipwreck and abandoned abalone farm nearby. You can encounter the adorable resident otters up-close in Morro Bay or take a fishing or whale watching tour and you can even kayak the bay and view the local oyster farms. Farmer's Markets can be found most everyday nearby, countless wineries and it's not too far to explore Los Alamos' foodie spots, Solvang's Danish flair or even an Ostrich Farm. You can go up the 101 to a few funky food spots in tiny Santa Margarita and Templeton or further afield to the larger 'little town of Paso Robles and it's lovely downtown square, the 'Sensorio' Light Art installation, hot springs and great food, wineries, beer and music in the Tin City area is also a fun treat. Staying more nearby in SLO, you can enjoy the outrageous pink of the Madonna Inn, a 250 year old Mission, or explore the lively shopping and dining scene. Also nearby is Avila Hot Springs, Pismo's Clams and Monarch Groves, or drive upon the actual beach or in dune buggies at Oceano (there's also a real Drive-in Theater in SLO) even Michelin star foodies will find a few hidden gems in the area too.

In the immediate neighborhood a few minutes away from the Guest House, you'll also find some wooded trails at Los Osos Oaks State Reserve, and in the other direction down the road towards the coast is Baywood area's Sweet Springs Preserve on the Bay with easy trails, birding blinds and popular kayaking/SUP. Also the 90 acre Elfin Forest with raised boardwalks and sweeping views of the Estuary and Rock. Baywood also has several funky little bakeries, restaurants and bars and we are happy to share recommendations as much - or as little- as you'd like. Either way, you'll be happy to simply enjoy discovering this beautifully diverse, yet, somehow unexploited and well preserved " OG Cali-ness" on the Central Coast and as they say here.... "shhh don't tell anyone, so it stays our secret" CHEERS!

The space
I remodeled this unit with all my previous stays at arbnb and hotels in mind. One of my priorities was usb ports being nearby. I have 16 usb ports available throughout the place. I also like a good shower that doesn't scald you if another faucet is turned on. I put in new plumbing to prevent that. A new bed and a variety of pillows with protective liners to choose from is also important to me. I think it has all helped me to make staying here very pleasant.
Please note: My cat, Sylvester, has taken over many of my hosting duties. He will greet you and probably escort to the unit. Many guests have fallen in love with him. Jett, my dog, is also very friendly. If you don't want to be greeted by the dog, please send me a note and I will restrict his access to the yard as much as possible. I can not keep the cat from his duties. He comes and goes at will, and I can't keep him in.
Other things to note
I have a young dog, Jet, two cats, Sylvester and Sally. They are all very friendly. They do not go into the guest unit but love any attention they can get. I keep cat and dog treats on the desk. Feel free to hand out treats if you like.

A California casita with rustic Alaskan accents. This cozy and fully stocked home is kid and dog friendly, features a hot tub, and has views of Morro Rock and the bay from the front yard. A short bike ride to restaurants and situated on a dead end street to the Elfin Forest, perfect for sunset walks on the boardwalk. A few minute drive to the amenities of Los Osos and Morro bay, 15 minutes to Cal Poly, and 20 minutes to Edna Valley wine country.

This property is located within walking distance to the picturesque Cuesta Inlet of Los Osos and Baywood Park.. Morro Bay is a short 7 minute drive away, 12 minutes to Cayucos or 15-20 minutes to San Luis Obispo.

The local surf shops in Morro Bay offer wetsuit rentals and sales and there are several kayak rental shops that also offer stand up paddleboard (SUP) lessons, bike rentals, boat rentals, beach gear and much more. There are also local whale watching and day and overnight fishing boat tours.
The nearest airport is in San Luis Obispo (SLO), a 30 min. drive by car. Some of the local attractions include California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. Hearst Castle, built by William Randolph Hearst is about a 40 min. drive north on Highway 1. There are numerous wineries in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo areas. The Big Sur coastline is about a two hour drive North. Don’t miss the elephant seals that populate the area in San Simeon along with all our other wildlife. There are great hiking trails north along Highway 1 or at Montana de Oro State Park in Los Osos.

This beautifully renovated 2 Bedroom home is ideally located on the Central Coast of California. Newly remodeled large bedroom available in 3-bedroom home. Spacious and sun-filled living room, fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of storage for renter's food and personal use. The bedroom has a king-sized bed, large closet, abundant storage, work desk. Rental includes large, private full bathroom.

Parking is available right in front in the driveway with plenty of additional on street parking. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and neighbors are all friendly. There is an occasional holiday block party, such as the Fourth of July and Halloween, where everyone gets together for food, music and fun.

During your stay
The guest will have their private, alone space. But when they want to socialize, they would be more than welcome to. This will be a short term roommate environment, so we will likely interact while sharing common areas. A responsible, mature adult will match well in this peaceful setting and feel comfortable and at home here.

It is a very cozy space with built in sitting area at the radius bay window!

You have your own private access located on the left side gate as you are facing the property.....just to the left of the garage. You will walk into a spacious side yard. Please feel free to enjoy this space. You will then go up 1 flight of 4'-0" wide stairs to enter unit. Go up the stairs, turn right and unit is on your right hand side. The rest of the property is not accessible. Any other questions, please contact owners. Beach chairs and umbrella available upon request.

Other things to note
This private guesthouse features its own separate entrance for added privacy. Directly across from this space, there is another rental of the same size, also with its own private entrance. If you need additional space, it's available for rent as well.

The space
When you stay with us at Los Osos Landing, you will have that perfect blend of privacy with a warm welcome to our home. We live upstairs full-time and will be around for a cup of coffee or directions to the many hikes, beaches and other happenings that the Central California Coast is famous for. Your downstairs private two-bedrooms have its own entrance and is on the first floor. It includes a private bath and small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and light breakfast with coffee/tea. You may also access plenty of community spaces located in our backyard including outdoor seating, garden and (pack your swimsuit!) hot tub. Please note that the unit does not include a common seating area indoors, but there is a larger table and chairs outdoors on the patio. The Elfin Forest is a 5 minute walk away with amazing views of the Morro Bay and the Estuary - bring binoculars for bird watching!!

You will have access to the entry through side gate, patio with hot tub, downstairs area, including the 2 bedrooms with key entry, a connecting hallway, full bathroom and backyard. There is a small refrigerator, microwave and eating utensils, available and a few snacks for breakfast with coffee/tea.

Welcome to the California Central Coast! My humble abode is a beautiful ranch style home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms super close to the beach, hiking trails, national parks, Cayucos, Slo, Morro Bay, Santa Barbara, and all the fun activities! Pura Vida!

The space
Our home has recently been renovated so most of the house has been pretty comfortably modernized to be as eco friendly as possible. We live on a quiet street about a 2 min drive or a 10~15min walk to the National Park "Montana de Oro" where you will find multiple beaches, a variety of trails on the cliffs, and even trails throughout the dunes that centipede around horse trails. (Watching the horses run on the beach is a fantastic sight!) Our neighborhood is located right next to the park as well so there are hiking trails in the immediate vicinity ...just don't get lost ;-) In particular, there is an amazing hidden trail about a 5 min walk away where you can see the whole coastline and the Morro Rock from atop a large hill! (just ask my mom about the "Highland trail") It's not for the faint of heart so bring your workout shoes! ..and as always be careful with the wild life ;-)

We are located in the small "ruralesqe"community of Los Osos, which is about a 15 min drive to San Luis Obispo, a 5 min drive to Morro Bay, and about an hour 40 min drive to Santa Barbara.

Our house is a two car garage 3 bedroom home with 2 bathrooms, an ample backyard with lounge chairs and table for outside dining, large kitchen and a gorgeous Atrium at the center of the house. All the pictures taken that were not in the home are all walking distance to the house as well!

You will have your own private room and a bathroom next to the bedroom that belongs only to you. The shared spaces are the kitchen, Media Room, dinning room, and living room. Feel free to put any food in the fridge you like and we'll show you where everything is so you can cook as well. Many times we make a good hearty breakfast and you are more than willing to partake :-)

During your stay
This listing is for my parents, so they will be sharing the space with you. I come and go to visit, but I won't be staying with you while you are there. My Mom is from Peru and my Dad's kin hail from good ole Kansas so you may encounter lots of Peruvian food during your stay ...or some BBQ lol :-)

Our space is designed with your needs in mind, featuring a fully equipped kitchen and living room, your own bathroom including tub, piano, high-speed Wi-Fi, hot tub, BBQ on artful tile mosaic patio, work space and a comfortable bed.
Our beautiful bay is just 3 blocks down the road. It's a short drive over to Morro Bay, Cayucos, or Avila Beach for some relaxing beach time or to the historic mission town San Luis Obispo!

The space
We are located right between Baywood Park and the little town of Los Osos. It is easy to walk to either location!
There is a parking space in front of the home on the street along the fence reserved for the guest. Be sure to leave a good space for the mail truck next to the mail boxes. We can also give you the driveway if that works better for you while you are unloading or need to park closer to the front door. We are flexible!
Upon arrival down the front drive you are greeted with our tile mosaic "tree of life" to the right of the front door. And to the right of the front drive is our front yard garden and pond with several trees and pathways through the many plants and sculptures. There is a hardscape below the front garden, our front patio.
Inside the front entrance is the living room kitchen open shared space that includes a piano, couch, chairs, tv, sound system and fully equipped kitchen. Guests are welcome to enjoy this space.
The 1200 sqft home includes 2 cozy bedrooms. Headed down the hallway the guest room is the first door on the left. There is a double bed, coffee/tea and water station, a mini fridge, desk work space and easy pull down blackout blind. Across the hall is a bathroom exclusively for use by the guest. There is a shower and bathtub.
The host bedroom and bath is the next door down the hall on the right from the guest bath. Follow the hall and the last door on the left is the back office that leads to the back yard and patio. Our 3 little friendly dogs sleep in the back office as well and have access to the back patio through a dog door.
Out the back door you come to the spacious back patio and yard space where there are chairs and tables, a BBQ and hot tub available to enjoy. In the far back corner of the yard we also have a chicken coop. We currently have 2 chickens.

The guest will be given a code to use to enter the front door. The guest bedroom is the first door on the left in the hallway. The second door on the right is the host bedroom.
The gate to the backyard should remain secured as we have 3 sweet, small older dogs to keep safely inside.

During your stay
During your stay I am most always available. I can be reached even while working if you need me. I love socializing and sharing new experiences but am also happy to respect your privacy!

My room is currently only available for solo guests or remote workers due to shared spaces, neighbors and the licensing that I hold through the county as well as AirBNB. The space
Upon entering, you'll notice how spacious it is. The living room has plenty of seating and comfortable couches. TV has cable and a DVD player. Off the living room is the dining area, where you can seat 4-6 people. The bright, white, fully-equipped kitchen is suited for all your cooking needs. Home has plenty of dinnerware and pots/pans for preparing a delicious meal during your stay.
Heading down the hallway is bedroom one which features a twin bed with a desk for those who require space for work during your stay. Across the bedroom is the first full bathroom. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo, linens and is bright and white, just like the kitchen. Bedroom two is located at the end of the hall and has a comfortable king bed. It overlooks the lovely backyard and has a closet and lounge chair for you to read a book or just lay back and relax.
Lastly, bedroom three is the master suite. It has a queen-size bed, TV, and roomy closet with plenty of space for your belongings.
The master suite has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Open up those doors in the master, and you'll have access to the peaceful and well-groomed backyard. This outdoor space is a perfect spot to relax and unwind after your day's activities.
It's the perfect spot to enjoy the Los Osos sunshine, a bottle of local wine, or friends and family chats while you grill up a meal!
Inside the one-car garage is the laundry area. A washer and dryer are provided for use during your stay.

The tiny house cottage resides in a sunny semi-rural residential neighborhood, just minutes to the bay and Elfin Forest. Quiet and serene cottage in a semi-rural residential neighborhood in Baywood Park. Surrounded by pine trees, this private little house is perfect for one or two guests. Just minutes from the bay and local hikes and vistas, the tiny house was designed to be a writer's retreat location. One bedroom, one bath, fresh sheets and towels with a full kitchen. stocked with cooking utensils and cutlery. The cottage is located next to our home but is very private with its own entrance. We are just five minutes to Morro Bay and fifteen minutes to San Luis Obispo. Nearby Montana de Oro state park which is world famous for its beautiful bluffs trails overlooking the ocean is about 15 minutes away. Within walking distance is Sweet Springs Nature Reserve and the Elfin Forest. About 30 minutes away is Cambria and San Simeon, the gateway to the Hearst Castle. Wine tasting in nearby Paso Robles is also very popular. Picturesque Piedras Blancas light house and a large and boisterous elephant seal breeding is also not to be missed. As a guest you have access to a bicycles and loads of suggestions about all the great things to do here. We have lived here for over twenty years and love bragging about our beautiful community!

We can accommodate one car with a private parking spot for one car just to the right of the tiny house. I keep the key under the blue pot and porch light on for later entries or if we are not here to welcome you. You can replace it there when you leave. Let us know when you wish to use bikes and I can arrange to leave them out for you :)

This amazing property is located in the heart of Baywood, Los Osos. This 360 square foot cottage accommodates three guests comfortably with the consideration of a dog as well. This cottage is within walking distance of the Bay where you can find endless trails and places to explore water activities, restaurants, bars and local brew houses. The outside patio is a great place to kick your feet up and enjoy the beautiful weather the Central Coast has to offer. You can also enjoy the stars at night next to the fire pit on the patio while roasting marshmallows. If you find yourself wanting to leave your cozy cottage you can travel North towards Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, San Simeon and as far as Big Sur. Traveling South will take you towards San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, and Arroyo Grande. If you are a wine lover head on over to Paso Robles which is an award winning wine destination!!! You will not be let down by its abundance of wineries, breweries and tasting rooms downtown. (it's about a fifty minute drive from your cottage.)

Attention

This cottage is located to the right of a public laundromat and across from a mobile home park. The laundromat is open to the public and used regularly throughout the day. These machines are coin operated. The mobile home park is occupied by families and children so please be aware of your noise and activity level. Our community takes great pride in having a respectful and safe neighborhood. 




Parking

As our special guest(s) you are granted one off-street parking space on the property. Parking is straight towards the back of the driveway entry.  Please be courteous of the neighboring vehicles and space around you as there is only one way for egress. If you have more than one vehicle please park the second vehicle on the street (free of charge).

Baywood offers a variety of activities during the year; including free live music and entertainment in some places. Come take advantage of our safe, social events and bring the whole family! 

Farmers Market\- On Mondays from 2pm-4:30pm  you can explore Farmers Market and shop from your favorite local produce and shops. 

Sea Pines Golf Course- Sea Pines offers free live music outside for families and children on Saturdays.  Bring your own lawn chair or set up "picnic style" while you  enjoy food and beverages from the bar. Often times there will be bounce houses and slides for children as well. 

Montana De Oro State Park- Take a short drive towards the beach! Once entering the state park you will have trails, coves, beaches and peaks to explore. There is a trail/walk for everyone at every level. 

Elfin Forest- Is adjacent to the Morro Bay estuary. The Elfin Forest is known for its pygmy oaks, seabirds and coastal panoramas. This board walk style loop makes it convenient for those traveling with dogs or children. 

Los Osos gets limited service from Lyft, Uber and taxi services due to location in a semi remote area. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please plan accordingly.

We offer a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home for guests to unwind and explore the Central Coast. Each large bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed along with a dresser, closet and bedside treats .

Enjoy our remodeled our kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances. Our home is stocked with dishes and cookware to enjoy meals in our dining room! We have a Keurig coffee maker and we provide coffee! Fully stocked kitchen to create a thanksgiving feast. Blender, instaPot, banking dishes, dishwasher etc.

The bathroom has a shower/tub combo with essentials you may need during your stay. We provide shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryer, Qtips etc.

Cozy up near the fireplace with a nice book in the living room and utilize the pull out sofa if needed. Our living room has a smart and guests can connect to their own Netflix/Hulu account.

2022 New couch and loveseat. The couch has a pullout sofa bed for guests and extra sheets/pillows and comforter in the white chest.
FYI: Best suited for kids!

Enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars in our large private front yard lounging by the fire pit. Play a game of corn-hole while grilling on the BBQ!

The space
This lovely three bedroom , one bath home offers large view windows, sky light and cozy brick firplace in the living room open to the kitchen and dining area. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout with tile in the kitchen and bath. The master bedroom has a large walk in closet , a small fireplace and a French door leading to the large fenced back yard. The other two bedrooms are cozy and clean with views of the back bay and Morro Rock.

Guests have complete access to this lovely home that rests on a corner lot providing plenty of parking and a private fenced yard across from the bay. There is possibility of additional storage access if requested.

Other things to note
The shower turns on by pulling the plastic piece on the bottom of the tub faucet. Please be mindful of the little step going into the master bedroom.
There are two fireplaces for heat, M bedroom has a remote control that will heat continuously for 4 hours, living room fireplace turns on by pushing the switch on the top right side of F.P., you can control the heat by opening up the grill below and turning the lower knob. WiFi code is written on the router under the deck in the corner by the small window.

This cozy and fully stocked studio suite is kid and dog friendly, features a hot tub, and has views of Morro Bay. A short walk to Baywood restaurants and the Elfin Forest which is perfect for sunset walks on the boardwalk. A few minute drive to the amenities of Los Osos and Morro bay, 15 minutes to Cal Poly, and 20 minutes to Edna Valley wine country. Bikes and a canoe are available upon request.

The space
Important note: this studio is on the ground floor of the owners home. We have two young boys who can be rambunctious and may create noise throughout the day. If you are sensitive to sounds we ask you consider another location.

We have a dog and chickens of our own who share the backyard. If you are traveling with a pet please make sure they are friendly with other dogs and chickens. Please make sure your dog will not bark excessively and do not leave them in the yard or unit unattended.

You will have a private entrance to the studio with a kitchenette, full bathroom, hot tub and covered patio. If you have a pet you also have use of the yard.

The space
The rooms are located on the bottom floor of our home and consist of our very popular "Back Bay Luxury Guest Room" and the newly added Master Suite. The space accommodates one group only and is entirely private for your group. The rooms are adjacent to each other.
Both rooms are tastefully furnished with luxury linens, down comforter and fluffy towels. The decor is a bit different in each room but reflects our love of nature and our location near the bay. Each room has a private bath with pebbled tiles and curb-less showers that will bring the feel of the beach to your rooms. Beautiful French sliding doors lead directly to the back patio garden which is entirely private and for your enjoyment. The rooms are full of amenities. Both rooms have: – coffee station, hot water kettle, filtered water, ice buckets, folding luggage rack, space for hanging clothes, chest with drawers and shelves for all your “stuff”, extra blankets and pillows, reusable utensils, plates, bowls, and place mats. Both of the rooms have a mini fridge with a freezer compartment and microwaves. The Guest room has a 30 in. monitor for video streaming. The Master Suite has a large screen monitor with TV and streaming video services.
High speed Wi-Fi Internet is provided throughout the property. An alcove with a computer desk is just outside your rooms.

Your rooms are accessed through the front door of the house and down the hallway to the suite. There is a lock box with key for your convenience. There is an additional entry through a side gate into the back patio. There is a long driveway with convenient parking for two vehicles. Our house is set back from a dead end street; no through traffic makes it a quiet and peaceful location, with only occasional normal neighborhood noise. The front patio of the house is a common area which you are welcome to use. There are many seating options and two outdoor dining tables in the front and back patios. We ask that you not eat in your rooms. The two bedrooms, the desk alcove, the back patio are all for the private use of our guests.

During your stay
During continued COVID precautions we will greet you with our masks on and we ask that you do the same. We look forward to meeting all of our guests and remaining available on site to answer any questions and provide any assistance you may need. However, we will respect your privacy if you prefer limited interaction with your host. Bob and I kayak, hike, mountain bike, bird and pursue all of the outdoor activities here on the central coast. We are docents for the Natural History Museum and lead bird walks and hikes in the area. We will share our expertise in all things local with you if you wish.

For your comfort there is Direct TV, a cozy queen bed and a futon for a spare sleeping space. The grocery store, coffee houses, saloon, farmers market, sushi bar and restaurants are all in walking distance for this location.

When you enter to the right will be a set of stairs that takes you to the best spot on the property called the "Kahuna Casa". No smoking or pets. Very strict. No vaping. No marijuana. No cigarettes in or on home property. Either offense will result in a $250 fine.

Just off the beaten path, enjoy the fresh ocean breezes and temperate climate of Los Osos - Baywood Park, one of the best hidden gems on the Central Coast. Here in our quiet, sunny neighborhood you can return from day-time adventures to your well-appointed, cozy suite and enjoy happy hour, dinner, and massage (by appointment). While, due to the Pandemic, I no longer serve custom breakfasts, I have been known to surprise with a special treat.

The space
Your single level, 2-bedroom, suite with living room, 2 private entrances, and well-equipped kitchenette awaits. Enjoy your walk-in shower, locking bedroom doors, free WiFi/Internet, Firestick TV, folding dining set for 4, lovely patios, BBQ, use of laundry (by reservation) and off-street parking.

You can hear a pin drop at night but just a short walk away you'll find Starbucks, bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies, a hardware store, a post office, a variety of bay/ocean front restaurants, plus local concerts, kayaking, and nature hikes.

Stroll around our peaceful neighborhood, take photos at Sweet Springs Preserve Bird Sanctuary, run the bluffs at Montana de Oro, and get lost in the Elfin Forest or on nearby hiking/walking trails through ancient oaks and estuaries.

Please park on the right side of the driveway (so I can get my car out of the left side of the garage). Feel free to walk around the garden, enjoy the patios, and use of the BBQ (upon request). Ask about scheduling a massage with our in-house massage therapist.

The space
This newly remolded home is a true gem. It is designed to be a soulful way to get away and unwind. You will have the entire home to yourself, including two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a King Bed. There is a full bath with shower and tub, and a private modern stylish half bath in the master bedroom. There is a modern kitchen, dining area, living space, game room, a fireplace, and a detached private office or third bedroom. There are also two comfortable patio's with outdoor furniture, one in back and one in front to relax.

In the living area watch your favorite movies on a wall mounted TV or move to the game room to watch your favorite sports team. If you're in a throw back kind of mood, play some boardgames or bring out a puzzle. The entire home is all yours to use including the garage which includes a washer and dryer. History:
The name Los Osos means the BEARS. In 1769, a Spanish expedition traveled through the San Luis Obispo area on their way to rediscover the Bay of Monterey. Finding an abundance of bears in the area, his diarist, Padre Juan Crespi, O.F.M., recorded that the name given the area by his soldiers was "Los Osos" (Spanish for "the bears")

You have full access to the house, the garage, the back yard, outdoor furniture, fire pit, and the detached office space/bonus room with extra full bed. Enjoy the entire property and let us know if you have any questions. There is plenty of parking space for up to 3 cars. You could even fit a boat or trailer.

Downtown Los Osos is 3 blocks away & the quaint neighborhood of Baywood is 10 blocks away. The surf and beach is about a 8 minute drive in either direction. Morro Bay is to the north and Montana de Oro is to the south. There is a large community swimming pool in Morro Bay .

Great little home, walking distance from Baywood Park with cute restaurants, cafe and water access for your paddle board, Kayak or just grab a coffee at the Nautical Bean and sip it on the pier.
Super comfortable home. Light and bright with large windows all around. Outdoor Deck in the backyard with sitting areas and fire pit. Perfect for a couple trying to spend some time like locals in beautiful Los Osos. 10 minutes drive from Montana De Oro state park and a short drive to Morro Bay.

There’s one room on the bottom floor with attached full bathroom and access to the backyard. On the second floor is the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. The room on the bottom floor is only included for bookings of more than 2 guests.

The space
Breath taking Morro Bay, Cayucos, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles are all a short drive away, and Montana de oro is your back yard and two blocks to a trailhead. Depending on your choice of activities to enjoy, whether it be mountain biking, hiking, surfing, fishing, Wine tasting or professional golf courses, it is all here waiting for you to experience.

Guest access
The entire home and back yard is available for your enjoyment. There is cornhole, ladder golf and a large outdoor Jenga game just outside the back door., as well as the bbq. The garage, master bedroom closet, and outdoor shed will remain off limits but help yourself to a fresh cup of coffee or hot tea to get the day off on the right track!

Other things to note
Without prior authorization, bringing a Pet penalty$200 per pet per night will be charged to credit card on file.

Without prior authorization, extra guests not on reservation will be charged $50 per person per night will be charged to credit card on file. A $1000. security/damage deposit has conditions that the guest agrees to when the guest makes their payment to stay at the home.
These conditions are:
- No damage has been made to the home or contents
- No smoking on the property
- No pets on the property
- No illegal substance or activities on premise
- House items including pillows, blankets, tools, games, books and movies have not been lost or removed from the home.
- No parties.
- No extra people at or in the house that are not on reservation without prior approval.
- if law enforcement is required to respond to residence for any rule violations guest will forfeit all money deposited in addition to any damages.

This home is close to everything on the Central Coast! A quick 5 min walk to the bay, restaurants close by, and beautiful state parks within 3 miles This is not a party house meaning this is a quite family neighborhood and is not suitable for parties Thank you for abiding by these rules

After that, you are responsible for your own supplies. We do not provide starter shower supplies.

Utilities Included
Water, gas, electricity, garbage and Internet are included in your stay.
Trash, recycling and green-waste is picked up weekly in front of the house.

Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Purifying Heating Fan in each Bedroom
In addition to the gas furnace and upstairs fireplace, we also include the Dyson electric space heaters for each bedroom to make sure you feel warm and cozy. Please turn off when not in use and remember to return the Dyson remote to the remote box in each bedroom to make sure we have them for future guests.

Los Osos Weather
Los Osos is around 60 degrees F all year round. When not in a drought, our rainy season is the winter. Some hotter days can be found in the fall and we typically have fog for part of each day in the summer. As we are right by the water, the air is fresh with sea air. Family members who visit us from warmer locations are at first surprised by how cool it can sometimes feel. A vest, puffer jacket, hoodie and beanie are good to have all year round.
