Welcome to this lovely 3 bedroom 2 bath brick row house located in a quiet neighborhood in one of the best locations in the North Shore area. The house is fully appointed with all the modern amenities, blending historic charm with contemporary comfort. Enjoy spacious living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and beautifully preserved architectural details.

This beautiful 100 plus years old charmer has been renovated for modern conveniences. It still has some of that 100 year old charm and by this I mean the upstairs steps which can creak and are on the steeper side. This house is not wheelchair or handicap accessible. The upstairs full bath is accessed through the upstairs bedroom. First floor bedroom has a queen bed and a work space. Other two bedrooms, a King and queen bed each, are on the second level. The lower floor has a hangout area with TV and beverage center as well as full bath with shower. The lower level has a low clearance, so be careful until you acclimate to the lower clearance. Laundry room is located in the lower level. This prime location offers a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, and stadiums, making it perfect for those who appreciate both tranquility and convenience.

House is accessed through back side door where you will find the electronic key pad.

Other things to note:
3 day parking permit for street parking will be issued for one vehicle before arrival by providing vehicle information to the host prior to your arrival. The permit will be an electronic permit. Other street parking is available at the end of the street without needing a permit. The parking authority is very strict about this, especially on game days or when events are being held at the local stadiums.

My kids are averse, so we drove, but parking is relatively cheap (we parked at the aviary and walked the 2 blocks to the children's museum... $5 gets you parking all day). My only other advice would be to avoid the Giant Eagle on the other side of the Children's Museum... I went in, just to buy some coffee creamer and a couple other items and there were six registers open and each was about 5 carts deep with no self-checkout options, so i turned around and left. But, no complaints about the home itself and the agents were extremely responsive."

Officially the smallest neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Allegheny West is home to 19th century architecture characteristic of the gilded industrial era.

Originally named Allegheny City, the neighborhood was considered the gold coast of the region, and stood among the wealthiest in the world before annexation by Pittsburgh in 1907.

Built in the 1870s, our townhouse is part of a historic row house district. Many of the original floor beams, as well as exposed brick, were preserved during the renovation.

Ceilings were restored to their 12 foot height throughout the living room and kitchen, while lofted ceilings were constructed in the bedrooms.

The neighborhood is home to a mix of eclectic businesses and historic sites, including a local bookstore, bars, an excellent Thai restaurant, Peppi's legendary cheese steaks ("home of the RoethlisBurger"), the Jones Mansion, and the birthplace of writer and poet Gertrude Stein on Beech Street.

Nearby is Allegheny Commons, a beautiful and peaceful city park. We hope you enjoy the setting as much as we do!

Our free parking permit works great for Steelers game day, Pirates games, and stadium events (including concerts). We are located within a short walking distance of stadiums— so close that the parking lot across the street is used for fans and charges $45-65 to park on game day, making the free parking parking pass that is included in this rental a huge plus!

Getting Around: Our apartment is centrally located within walking distance to bus and light-rail lines, as well as a city-sponsored bike rental station (1 block from our place).

- "On the positive side, the neighborhood is quiet, and the street is pleasant and relatively attractive. The building in which this apartment is located is handsome and relatively well-kept, as far as we could see, except for a shattered window and broken window frame outside this unit's kitchen window. Communication with the owners by email and text is fairly easy, except I am still waiting for a promised refund for 2 nights out of our 3. I am considering requesting a refund for all 3 nights, because the apartment was so filthy and disgusting. When we entered the apartment, the first thing we noted was the smell of grease/fried food. Opening windows and turning on the stovetop fan did nothing to get rid of it. It permeated the entire apartment. Then we noticed the floors were greasy, oily, and sticky. We purchased a Swiffer at the closest Rite Aid. I used 7-8 wet pads and what each of them looked like after mopping was disgusting. My Swiffering helped, but they still were not spotless -- clearly they'd not been well-cleaned in a long time. The kitchen was sticky and dirty. Little hairs were stuck on to baseboards, cabinets, and many other surfaces. The kitchen was barely stocked. It was virtually impossible to cook anything. The dish drainer for clean dishes had hair in it. Then I opened the dishwasher and it was backed up with rancid and mildewy water. The smell was overpowering and the dirty water began to leak all over the kitchen floor. We used towels and most of a roll of paper towels to try to stop the water flow, but it was still seeping out the next morning. (Thankfully we brought our own roll of paper towels.) The bathroom wasn't too bad, but there was a stain that looked like bodily fluid on the mattress. I kept waking up during the night smelling the greasy/fried smell. In short, the apartment clearly had not been deep-cleaned in a very long time. We checked out the next morning and were promised a refund for the next 2 nights, though I have yet to receive it. They did reach back out to tell me the dishwasher had been repaired. Hopefully the also restocked detergent pods, because there were none in stock. I plan to file another complaint with VRBO. Unless someone is desperate or doesn't care if a place is clean, I would avoid this property."

Hard wood floors. Exposed brick. Huge state of the art kitchen. Beautifully executed bathroom with a walk in shower and massive soaking tub. Located in the Allegheny West Historic District, a Victorian era neighborhood listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the three-story brick building of the flat was constructed in 1860 as a row house by John Bourne. The entire space was newly renovated in a way that celebrates the historic character of the building but ties a thread through history to the present.

Outside, there is a private fenced in patio accessed via the rear door. In the back of this area is free on-site parking for one vehicle.

It still has some of that 100 year old charm and by this I mean the upstairs steps which can creak and are on the steeper side. This house is not wheelchair or handicap accessible. The upstairs full bath is accessed through upstairs bedroom. First floor bedroom has a queen bed and a work space. Other two bedrooms, a King and queen bed each, are on the second level. The lower floor has a hangout area with TV and beverage center as well as full bath with shower. The lower level has a low clearance so be careful until you acclimate to the lower clearance. Same-day bookings are required to provide the information within 1 hour of booking. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation that does not meet our verification check criteria.

Damage Waiver
For a small, one-time fee of $35, our Damage Waiver offers peace of mind by covering accidental damage and normal wear and tear during your stay.

It covers up to $150, protecting you from unexpected repair or replacement costs and helping to maintain the property in great condition for you and future guests. With the Damage Waiver, you can relax and enjoy your stay without added stress.

Please note: The Damage Waiver is non-refundable. Be sure to report any damages before checkout. Our Damage Waiver works alongside Airbnb's Aircover, which covers larger claims up to $3M beyond the Damage Waiver's coverage.

Safety Deposit
Alternatively, you may choose to pay a refundable Safety Deposit of $150 to cover potential damages that may arise during your stay. If no damage is identified after your stay, the hold on your payment method will be released.

Checkout is at 10 am- Late Checkout is available for $25/hr. Unauthorized stay will result in $100/hr.

Pets ARE allowed depending on size, please let us know beforehand and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation. The following additional
PER Pet Cleaning Fee applies:

1-4 Nights: $25 Per pet Per Night
5-29 Nights: $200 Per Pet
30+ Nights: $300 Per Pet

Arrive at your Pittsburgh retreat through the rear of the home where you will find the parking pad, back patio with charcoal grill, and luxurious hot tub with outdoor TV.
Once inside, you will walk through an open floor plan in the following order: cozy gaming area, large and modern kitchen, high end dining area, and huge sofa with a massive flat screen tv. The basement boasts a full gym, pool table, and half bathroom. The grand modern floating staircase takes you upstairs to the master bedroom and bathroom on its own floor.
On the third floor, you will find an office and sitting area with grand windows. The next bedroom has a queen and twin bunk bed. Laundry is on the third floor. The second master has a jack and jill bathroom, huge windows, and buttery memory foam king bed. This house is an EXPERIENCE.
