Upon entering the driveway gate, you’ll be greeted with a lush oasis filled with seasonal banana trees, a pool, deck, and hot tub.

The entrance to the guesthouse brings you into a high beamed ceiling, fully stocked kitchen with easily accessible dinnerware. High-top seating is provided to enjoy kitchen socialization or a quick meal. Please be aware there is a stove, but no oven.

From the living room, you’ll have access to a washer/dryer, a 65” Smart TV with streaming capabilities, and a dining nook.

Because we understand that sleep is important, each bedroom is equipped with queen-size memory foam mattresses. A queen air mattress is available for use for extra guests as well. Bedroom #1 has a dedicated workspace and industrial pipes to hang your clothing from. Bedroom #2 has a large closet for use.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire guesthouse and backyard space. You're free to use the pool or hot tub between the hours of 8am and 10pm.

The Hot Tub is open and maintained year-round! The pool isn't heated, but the Dallas weather will usually allow for swimming at your discretion from around March until November.

This cozy, charming cottage in the heart of Dallas has everything you need for your short or extended stay in Big D. It is centrally located, just minutes from downtown, Love Field, Inwood Village, HIghland Park Village, Northpark and so much more.

The kitchen has new cabinetry and appliances, 2 ample size bedrooms, and a large bathroom with a huge shower with a frameless shower door. A light-filled sunroom is the perfect home office which opens up to a magical backyard with a gazebo.

It’s in Highland Park, near SMU, Love Airport, and good restaurants. The bathroom in the house has handicapped bars and a walk-in shower, but there is no handicap entrance into the house. The garage is short because the washer and dryer are in the garage. The property is pet friendly and has a good backyard fence. However, there were lots of overgrown areas in the yard and it was full of leaves. Although the property is on an extremely busy street, people were very kind and would allow us to back out without waiting. The owner was very quick to respond when there was a problem at the house. There was a problem with the water heater and it was fixed the next day. Also, the Samsung ice maker had frozen up, so the could not be fixed while we were there. Samsung ice makers are notorious for that. We just bought bagged ice while there. There is no automatic dishwasher in the kitchen. The Mr. Coffee works but needs to be replaced with a K-cup machine."

This is not a place to rent if you wish to be social and invite friends over to hang out, before going out, or after going out after the bars are closed. This is more for the business travelers and vacationers who plan to be out exploring most of the time and using the apt as a place to sleep. I say this for the although its a complete remodel the building itself it is from the 1950 s, and there is real hardwood floor so sound/noise travels and there are three other Airbnb rentals and usually the building is full.

While the units are great, our family was in town for a concert and so there were late nights to come in, and this did not work well with this property and with being upstairs specifically and having any kind of noise at all as it disturbed the tenants who live below full time. I got lots of messages about walking quieter on the floors, turning tv down etc. I felt like I was a teenager living with my parents again. Probably not a venue for anyone with young kids or teens to stay or very active night owls, because the sound of a tv or radio created issues. Other than that, a pretty and clean place in a good part of town. I will not stay here again though."
