In the renovation process, we painstakingly removed the live edge cedar planks that lined the walls and had them remilled and installed them ourselves as an accent ceiling. The bunkhouse also offers a charming wood-burning stove to create an even more cozy setting.

Our property offers the perfect mix of privacy (no neighbors on top of you or even in sight!) but also a short drive to the grocery store, great restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing.

Location is key to an enjoyable getaway. The Hilburg House, a quaint 1912 updated farmhouse with two units, is located in a quiet neighborhood around the corner from several parks on Cedar Creek. A short 10-minute walk to town will bring you to an abundance of boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, local brew pubs, an art museum, and a cultural center. The park offers weekly music performances in summer and four dedicated pickleball courts with friendly drop-in sessions.

When traveling, you want to experience the best of everything. We thought it was important to go the extra mile and outfit the home with new beds, 1800 thread count sheets, a choice of either down or alternative down comforters, white fluffy towels, toiletries, coffee & tea. The space offers just about everything you need to feel at home.

This home is a duplex, with two units. The upper unit is reserved for a long-term renter, while you will be hosted in the lower unit on the main floor with access to the covered front porch.
The backyard is shared with the tenant who lives upstairs. It offers 4 Adirondack chairs around a fire pit. The back patio offers a table, chairs, an LED umbrella with lights, and a gas grill.
NOTE: The backyard firepit may not be ideal for young children as it sits above the creek with a 30-foot ravine drop-off.
The laundry is located in the lower level and is also shared with the long-term tenant.

Cozy 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom townhome conveniently located walking distance from all this historic city has to offer! This home includes a large main bedroom with king size bed, the second bedroom has a single bed and the third has a full size bed. There is also an oversized chair in the living room that has a single size pullout bed. Full sized washer and dryer, large back yard (with swing set and basketball hoop), off street parking with a large driveway.
This home is conveniently located near many of the beautiful parks, restaurants, coffee houses, gift shops, and pubs that Cedarburg has to offer. Park here and walk to some of the well known attractions such as, Festive Fridays in winter, Strawberry Fest, Harvest Fest, Maxwell Street Days, Country in the Burg, plus much more! The interurban bike/walking path is literally steps out the front door.
A short car ride (or a little bit longer bike ride) to our neighboring cities/towns, Port Washington, Mequon, and Grafton. 20-30 minute drive to Milwaukee (depending on which area you are traveling too).

Our modern farmhouse within walking distance to historic downtown Cedarburg is now available! The foyer welcomes with lofty ceilings, shiplap walls, and a sun-drenched, well-designed layout. The space
There is a Primary Bedroom with a king bed and en suite downstairs. There is a ceiling fan. The bathroom has a shower with dual heads and a two sink vanity.
Three total bedrooms upstairs; one with two twin beds and two with queen beds. The upstairs full bath has a tub.
There is a half bath off the laundry/mudroom downstairs.
The only areas not accessible to guests are the garage and the basement.
Other things to note
This home is in a residential neighborhood and we ask that you be respectful to our neighbors. No loud noise after 8 pm during the week and after 10 pm on the weekends.
Highland Home is walking distance to downtown Cedarburg. Cedar Creek Park is about a five minute walk. There is a grocery store, Sendiks, about five minutes away by car. Mequon is about 10 min. by car and Milwaukee is about 40 min by car. The Ozaukee Interurban Trail is very close as well.

Our home is roughly 39 miles (roughly 39 minutes) from Whistling Straits Golf Course-Sheboygan, 27 miles (roughly 35 minutes) to Fiserv Forum-Milwaukee. Within 30 minutes of these exciting events but escape the crowds and packed eateries afterwards!

A 2,750 sq. ft. ranch home, decorated in the a modern farmhouse style, in Saukville, Wisconsin. Main level master suite with shower and bathtub, one bedroom, one full bath, open-concept kitchen/dining/living room, home office, and full size front loader washer/dryer. Dining room leads to outside patio deck with Weber gas grill.

Basement level has one bedroom, large full bath, full wet bar, living room, dining area and extra room. There are several TVs throughout the house including living areas, bar and bedrooms, Direct TV and Wi-Fi Internet access. Central air throughout along with several ceiling fans. House is maintained by professional cleaners.

We welcome you to stay in our recently updated guest room. You will be warmly welcomed by our golden retriever, Molly (and us, of course). Our house is walkable to downtown Cedarburg (.6 mile) where there are many unique shops & restaurants. Cedarburg is very picturesque. It sees a lot of tourists in the summer, for festivals and during the holidays. Stop at one of the many coffee shops in the morning. Let us know how we can help make your stay most enjoyable. We are excited to get to know you.

The space
You will have a private room (our guest room) with a full-size bed in our 3-bedroom house. There is a shared bathroom. We live on a quiet dead end street near a park.

Guest access
Guests will find ample street parking on our quiet street. During the winter there is no street parking allowed and then we would have you park in the driveway. We have put bicycles in the garage for some folks. There is a bike path nearby for biking. You can use Uber, but it is not widely used around here so just make sure to plan ahead and it should be no problem.

During your stay
If you have questions or are looking for advice, we are happy to help. We enjoy visiting with our guests, but know that they often have things that bring them to town.

Other things to note
We have an 8 year old Golden Retriever who will likely meet you at the door when you arrive. She is very nice, but does love to give "kisses" and get all the pets she can find. (She mellows quickly). We have two young boys that will share their trucks with you. Between our dog Molly, and our two boys you will be very welcomed in our home!

House Rules/Notes: With two young children, the house is usually quieter around 9pm. With this in mind, we ask that you do not bring guns/weapons into our house. As we had an issue with the following in the past, we ask that you don't come back to our home intoxicated after your evening (no smoking/vaping).

This is a amazing, unique property in Cedarburg. Walk to the historic downtown, filled with charming shops, GREAT restaurants and bars. Great parks and Interurban bike trail close by. This building was once the Cedarburg Box and Millwork Building and the woodwork in this apartment reflect the history. Beautiful refinished hardwood flooring, huge beams and original massive sliding barn door that leads to the private bedroom.

I have had some requests for therapy dogs to stay . For allergy reasons if a therapy dog stays I would request that it doesn't go on any furniture or carpeting. Also there is not any convenient grassy area so you would have to walk at least a block for the dog to relieve itself.

Location is key to an enjoyable getaway. The Hilburg House, a quaint 1912 updated farmhouse with two units, is located in a quiet neighborhood around the corner from several parks on Cedar Creek. A short 10-minute walk to town and you will find an abundance of boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, local brew pubs, art museum, and cultural center. The park offers weekly music performances in summer and offers 4 dedicated pickleball courts with friendly drop-in sessions.

The space
When traveling, you want to experience the best of everything. We thought it was important to go the extra mile and outfit the home with new beds, 1800 thread count sheets, a choice of either down or alternative down comforters, white fluffy towels, toiletries, coffee & tea. The space offers just about everything you need to feel at home.

This home is a duplex, with two units. The upper unit is reserved for a long-term renter, while you will be hosted in the lower unit on the main floor with access to the covered front porch.
The backyard is a shared space with the tenant who lives upstairs. The backyard offers 4 Adirondack chairs around a fire pit. The back patio offers a table, chairs, LED umbrella with lights and gas grill. Chair cushions can be found in the shed.
NOTE: The backyard firepit may not be ideal for young children as it sits above the creek with a 30-foot drop-off.
The laundry is located in the basement and is also shared with the long-term tenant.

The space
This newly remodeled home is a duplex with a very spacious two bedroom unit downstairs and a large one bedroom unit upstairs which are rented separately or if requested and pending availability can be rented together! Both units have their own private entrance with secure access codes, the only shared amenities is the laundry room, which is located in the basement. There is a gazebo with a propane tabletop fire pit, this is available for this unit and the one above, so it is the only shared space if you would like!

This specific listing is for the two bedroom that comes equipped with a full kitchen, large sunny dining room, and outdoor dining area with stylish furnishings throughout! One thing to note: because this is an older home, if there are guests in the upper unit, it is possible to hear footsteps and noises. We have always had very respectful guest that honor the required quiet hours!

When you arrive, you'll find parking close to the house. You'll pass the front door of the home and travel down the rock slab patio steps to the lower level, where you will enter the guest space through the sliding glass doors. I'll provide you with the access code. Please note that this retreat is for those accustomed to the wilderness, as the stairs down to the space requires sure footing, and hiking the property may bring you in touch with unstable ground, wildlife, insects, unappealing plants that are a part of nature (wild parsnip and poison ivy) and the creek is fast moving. So please understand this disclosure and enjoy these areas at your own risk. If you are interested in having a bonfire, please provide your own wood.
Also, please note-the owners are nature enthusiasts, so weeding is limited and “weeds” are plentiful. Toxins (weed killers) aren’t used on the yard. Bees, butterflies and birds thrive in the environment so please see the “wild” spaces as nature friendly.

When you arrive your vehicle will be parked right next to your door. Walk through the entrance with a keyless entry code, up 3 steps and to the left will be your door to the kitchen. The walk-through pantry with full bath to the left will lead you through the dining room and into the living room. This one bedroom flat sits behind the french doors with a queen bed. Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the enclosed front porch while cozied up in a blanket during the cold weather months.

Our outdoor patio offers you a quaint place to sit at night with a small bonfire and enjoy the night's music whether it is chilly or wonderfully warm. You will be able to set out your private tailgate party for 2 with our old International there for you to drop the tailgate!
AND ... you are only steps from downtown Washington Avenue where you will enjoy an abundance of eateries, boutiques, bars and entertainment!
There is NO cleaning fee, but we do ask that you do just a few things before you check out in order to avoid and additional cleaning fee of $75. We ask to have the beds stripped, soiled linens, towels placed on the bathroom floor, the refrigerator cleaned of anything that you may have brought with you, any dirtied dishes place in the dishwasher and started and the trash taken out as house cleaning may not get to clean it for a couple of days.

You will have private access to the entire lower flat of this home and shared access to the patio in the back yard. You will also have your own private parking with great access to the lower flat.

Cedar Creek Loft is a newly remodeled space equipped to handle all size groups comfortably. This beautiful 3 bedroom lodging is located above "Sierzant" wIne bar and within walking distance to downtown Cedarburg, Summer Sounds, annual Country in the 'Burg, Cultural Center, and so much more. Custom woodwork throughout, massive amounts of natural light, and thoughtful decor create an above average experience. We have paid careful attention to amenities and comfort ensuring a fantastic stay!

The space
The entrance to the lodging is located to the back of the wine bar with 4 parking spaces. The door to enter the space itself is at the side of the building. As you enter from the stairs you will be greeted by both bedrooms. The hallway connects the open concept kitchen, living room, and dining room. Within the hallway you will find the laundry area and main full bathroom. Half bath is located off of the spacious living room. The sliding glass doors open to our balcony which overlooks Sietzant's patio and beautiful mature trees. The loft holds 3 full size beds, a lounge chair, and an old school arcade with 481 games!

Guest access
The entire upstairs is yours to use and is private only to guests. If you would like to visit Sierzant you must enter through their main entrance, accessible through the wooden gate to the left of the Cedar Creek Loft door marked with a red sign "BAR".

Other things to note
Please keep in mind that this lodging is located above a bar. Although Sierzant is a low key wine bar that plays wine bar music the loft does get some carryover noise. Please view them online to check out their hours of operation and decide if this spot is right for you. There are several stairs to enter and a landing between the 2 short flights. Hand rails are sturdy and the stairwell is well-lit. We have a smart lock system for the outside entrance of the loft and the lodging itself at the top of the stairs. We and Sierzant ask that glassware and drinks stay in their home. Please do not bring beverages from the loft to Sierzant patio or bar and vice versa. We have rules to abide by and we want to be good neighbors to the homes around us and be professional Cedarburg business owners. We do not allow parties (outside of the approved reserved guests) or events. The space sleeps 7 adults comfortably or 4 adults and 6 children. The lofted area holding 3 full sized beds are appropriate for 1 adult each. If you have any questions about these details please do not hesitate to ask!
