Red Awni ng worked with me to resolve the issue but it took some time and a few texts to make it work.The on street parking placed me a block and half from the propery. No cost but need proof of renting the space. The GPS sent you down a one way street that does not bring by the front of the property. This was a problem finding the property after dark. No climate control of the rental unit. The bed was confortable but it was a full size bed. I liked the location it was near Bandywine Creek nice for a walk or run."

- "I loved the cute historic neighborhood. " - "Cute place with great location" - "The location of the property was perfect. Very quiet area, close to a bunch of restaurants and stores. The property itself was super easy to check into. A few cons about the property: There were no cleaning products so if anything happens or spills there’s no way to clean up. There was literally only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths for 2 people, nothing extra. The blinds were too short for the windows, so outsiders could see inside the living room area. The pillows smelled like sweat as though someone had already slept on them. The Internet went out for a period of time (not to the fault of the host) which was a huge inconvenience because EVERYTHING in the unit runs on WiFi. The host did give us an extended 2 hours for checkout due to the inconvenience and communicated with us efficiently to assist with the WiFi issue. "

- "I was very pleased with the property location. It was close to my family that I was visiting and walking distance to many restaurants. The property description was accurate and the accommodations were comfortable. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is there were multiple bulbs burned out in the light fixtures, some stains on the couch, and because I was not given all the correct codes to access the property in my check in instructions (there are 2 and I was only given 1). Seems like those would be easy fixes for future stays and I would not hesitate to book this property again."

- "I'm local to Wilmington and stayed here with my husband while our bathroom was being renovated. The apartment is adorable and in a great location, Trolley Square. Walkable to restaurants and bars. Parking can be tough, but it's a safe neighborhood, so to park a block away isn't a problem. This would be a good place to stay for someone who needed to be in Wilmington for business (there's a desk in the living room, and the wifi seemed reliable) or a couple coming here for an event or to check out the sites. It would be a quick Lyft/Uber to get downtown. And the bed was super comfy! There were a few issues with the directions, but I let them know, so hopefully, they will fix that for future guests."

My place is easy to get to using gps, peaceful, clean, and centrally located. Water, coffee, tea, and a few snacks will always be available no matter what time you arrive. I installed black out curtains so you can sleep in. This listing is for 4 guest in 2 queen bedrooms each w/private baths. I can host up to 5 w/additional fee of $25 for the 5th person. I have a folding twin bed that I can place for the 5th person. You will be walking distance to two hospitals, public transportation and easy access to highways. Centrally located everything is within a quick drive of 2-10 minutes depending on what you would like to do. Many things are walkable. I look forward to hosting you!

Enter through the private rear entrance through a smart lock. Semi enclosed bedroom with full his/her wardrobe, queen sized bed, 42 in smart TV, ceiling fan. Bedroom is able to be fully enclosed with two barn doors. Bathroom with custom subway tiled 3ft shower, Fully stocked kitchen with butcher block counters, dishwasher and 4ft kitchen island. The living room features comfy, deep couch with leather ottoman, storage coffee table, fold down work desk and 55in 4k tv.

Entire space of the tiny house. There is 1 off street parking space available and plenty of free street parking for additional vehicles.

The Little Italy neighborhood is very safe and conveniently located near major attractions such as restaurants, Delaware Art museum, Grotto pizza, Goober's diner. Minutes to 95 and downtown. You can walk 4-5 blocks to the most popular bars and restaurants in Trolley Sq area without the parking issues in Trolley Sq.

Getting Around:

Walkable but you will likely need a vehicle if staying for longer stays in order to reach grocery stores, shopping, etc.

We do not allow cats on our property. Dogs are allowed on a case-by-case basis, and with prior approval only. You must pay the $150 pet fee in order to have your reservation approved for your pet. There is a $500 undisclosed pet fee. Please note there is no yard/ grass located on the property and you will need to walk your dog down the block for bathroom breaks.

The house is quiet and large enough to ensure your privacy. There is a full complement of linens, toiletries, and any reasonable request can be accommodated.

Night shift workers will enjoy the “blackout” curtains and sound machine (upon request).

You and your guest running short on time? Feel free to use the "shared" hallway bathroom (Just let me know if it was used).

Use the window unit air conditioner and space heater to make any fine-tune adjustments. Just remember to turn them off before using the microwave, and when you leave for the day.

The room is also equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, & microwave with kitchenware.

Relax outside in our fully fenced yard (please make certain gate is closed behind you).

Prop your feet up in our living room where you can watch TV, read, or simply unwind.

When you enter, the staircase to the 2nd floor is directly in front of you. Your room is the home's original "master" bedroom located on the 2nd floor. (there is a "Guest Room" sign hanging on the door).

Access to the living room is immediately to the right from the main door.

Access the backyard through the gates located on either side of the house. Again, please lock the gate upon leaving the yard.

We welcome conversation with our guests, but also recognize traveling is tiring and you may just want to relax. If the doors to the main house are open, please feel welcome to pop-in to say, “hi”, or to let us know if you need anything.

Our guest suite has an illuminated private entrance with steps and a landing leading to the door. It is not handicap accessible. Though the suite is connected to the rest of the house, a locked door gives you constant privacy. The space has an en suite full bath and adjoining sitting/working area. Enjoy our garden patio. You can walk through our back yard directly to a nice walking path around our town center, ponds and fountains.

The space
Enter into the beautiful, comfy living space with kitchenette, dining area and relaxing sitting area ideal for catching up with friends and family, telling stories or cozying up and watching a good flick. HDTV is 55” with cable.

Entrance and entire unit has no stairs.

Equipped kitchenette includes: refrigerator/freezer, microwave, hot plate, toaster, convection airfryer oven, electric fry pan, crockpot, Keurig coffee maker and blender. Gas grill with propane is available for you on your own patio. No stove. Cook in, carry in great Italian food from La Mia Pizzeria two minutes away. Coffee and teas are supplied.

Three bedrooms - two with a king bed, one with a queen bed and a double bed. All beds are made with freshly laundered sheets. Each bedroom has a remote for lighted ceiling fan with dimmer, night stands, drawers, closet with hangers.

Spacious and modern bathroom has beautiful tiled floor, double sink vanity,
large shower with low threshold has both a shower head and hand held sprayer. Equipped with shower bench, hair dryer, towels, soaps, shampoo and extra toilet paper. Vanity lights can be set to very bright or dimmed low for night lighting.

Utility room with full size refrigerator/freezer and full size washer and dryer has laundry detergent supplied. Iron and ironing board are kept in storage space under the stairs.

Just outside is a large fenced in yard, trees and lots of nature. You can relax on the patio and enjoy the view. Many times there will be deer and occasionally fox will run through that space. A great place for kids and pets to play.

In summer, enjoy swimming, sunbathing or hanging out all day in the pool area. Towels for pool are on a table in your laundry room.

Note: No smoking and no parties allowed on property. Quiet time is between 11 PM and 7 AM

Guest access
The guest unit is the entire ground floor not shared with anyone else. The upper floor of the house is a separate owner occupied unit. A connecting stairs has a locked door and is not used during your stay without prior notifications for maintenance. Each unit has its own driveway and entrance. Check in time is anytime after 2 PM and check out time is 11 AM.

Occasionally you may hear us upstairs- when we’re walking or our 2 cats are running or meowing. Our 2 small Shih Tzus may bark occasionally. We have added rugs to keep the sounds muted.

On the grounds, guests have a large private patio and back yard surrounded by many types of trees including the namesake walnut trees.

The guest unit driveway is the second driveway and is off the cul-de-sac circle. This driveway will only be used by you, or occasionally maintenance vehicles, and can accommodate several cars.
