Hallway bathroom shower head came off and the water kept running and I had to fix it. They make you put down a deposit and cleaning fee just to advertise this a great place, etc but it’s all a lie. AGAIN DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I will be further reporting this so that no one else experiences this again. "

- "Will absolutely book here again." - "The townhouse was decorated nicely & the beds were super comfortable. They had various amenities, just like a hotel, which was a great touch! Jana was super responsive & provided recommendations during our stay. We came in the evening, so it was hard to see which parking lot to turn in (it’s the 2nd one) & the parking lot is very tight. Cars would often park in non spaces, which made it hard to maneuver to get in & out. Street parking was readily available during the day, but harder to find in the late evening. We had to park a couple blocks away and didn’t always feel safe walking alone."

I suggest it be moved to the counter or attach a shelf to the right side of the upper right cabinet and place it there.The stairs can be difficult to negotiate especially with luggage. Must take care not to hit your head on your way down. If you have young children it can be treacherous, great care is needed.Needs Improvement: utensils, condiments. Teaspoons would've been helpful along with salt, pepper, sugar and cooking oil.Additional recommendation: at least 1 extra TV in either bedroom would be helpful. Please note: the bathroom is small so if you're built l Iike a linebacker it can seem claustrophobic. Also, footsteps from upstairs tenants can be excessively annoying in the living room area especially around midnight.I'd like to note that I extended my stay an additional week and felt safe and comfortable. - "This property was at most the horrible experience. Property is not at all where it states on the website. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. We stood for a week and they came at the second to last day of our stay. It was cold every morning and the windows were patched with garbage bags. Everything was prone to disconnect from walls such as everything in bathroom. In addition to paying for the stay they tried to charge me $59/per person per night. Everything was communicated but ignored. I even took pics and videos. In return I was giving a late check out with no charge so far who knows."

- "I can't recommend this rental enough. I booked it for the month of May for Fordham University's graduation. I was able to extend my stay by 3 days at the front end and 2 days at the back end with short notice. The house was extremely clean. There were plenty of linens available, and the kitchen was well-stocked with supplies. There was an abundance of storage room including in the bedrooms and bathroom. All appliances were basically new and in excellent working order. The furniture was comfortable and would easily accommodate 3 people. The rental really felt like mine while I was there rather than someone's place that I was renting. Communication with the property manager was super speedy and polite. Entrance and exit were simple. I had a small pup with me, and it was perfect for the both of us. People on City Island were extremely friendly. The abundance of restaurants was staggering, and each one I tried was excellent. Last note: if you're a Fordham parent (with your own vehicle) this is a perfect spot to rent. It's about 5 miles from campus and takes about 20-25 minutes to travel to and from."

- "I was looking for a 4 month long stay, but decided to leave shortly after a month. I recommend staying short term as a vacation rental only. Host is kind and welcoming, but I recommend asking her for every single one of her rules, as well as stipulations on guests before you decide to stay, they are not all listed on the booking and it may sway your decision. The owner lives above and has access to the rental, so if that makes you uncomfortable I'd have a conversation with her about it. I personally did not feel comfortable there, but she keeps a nice and clean rental and can be a perfect place for a short vacation."
