The home is beautifully decorated and stocked with all the essentials you will need for a stay in NYC. The home is right across the street from Whole Foods, Marshall's, and CVS. It is near the subway which is important if you plan to visit other parts of NYC. There are so many Harlem highlights close to the home including the Apollo theater. We walked to the world famous, Harlem Breakfast Club where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. There are many eating establishments within walking distance of the home. Carmen, the host, was kind and extremely attentive. We had one incident with the shower, and Carmen had it immediatley fixed. In addition, she was very responsive to all my questions and happy to assist while we were preparing for our trip. If you want to have an authentic, yet comfortable and fun experience in NYC, I recommend this Harlem gem!"

1. We live on the property. While the apartment is a separate unit with a private entrance, we live upstairs. If you have any questions, concerns or issues, we can address it right away and most of the time, in person.

2. We provide all of our guests with an information binder with valuable neighborhood and NYC information and we are also readily available to help with any questions.

3. We love to travel and stay in vacation rental apartments ourselves and know what is important to our guests. We professionally clean our apartment between guests and make sure everything possible is provided for our guests comfort.

Dining and Shopping : We are located in a prime area of central Harlem on West 127 St. between 5th & Lenox Avenues just 2 short blocks from the 125 St. retail/business district. Famous Sylvia’s soul food restaurant is literally around the corner. Down the block is one of the hottest restaurants in NYC, Red Rooster, owned by celebrity/iron chef Marcus Samuelson. Corner Social, a casual bar & restaurant features a lively atmosphere. There is also Cantina for Mexican and for authentic Napolitan-style brick oven pizza restaurants, Sotto Casa. If you want to eat at home but don't feel like cooking, take out at most neighborhood restaurants is also an option along with the expansive prepared foods section at Whole Foods or the various neighborhood Soul Food Buffet & Salad Bars. For those of you that want to prepare your own meals, Whole Foods is 2 short blocks south and Pioneer Supermarket is 3 short blocks north.

A large studio that comfortably sleeps up to 4 people, you will find that we offer everything you need to make your stay in NYC perfect. Outfitted with 2 real beds as well as a IKEA futon sofa bed. The building and private space is very clean.
