It's not the Ritz, but this “cabin-themed” guest house is very clean and private! There is a queen bed, a full size futon, an inflatable full size mattress, and a Graco crib upon request. Extra sheets and blankets are provided. Possibly best suited to families due to the curtain-only bedroom and only one proper bed.

A hairdryer, iron/ ironing board are provided. There is a shower, no bathtub. Shampoo and conditioner, as well as various other bathroom sundries are included under the sink.

You may self-check in any time after 3 PM with keypad entry to the guest house. We respect your privacy, so you may never see us. You will drive by our main house to get to the guest house, but you will not bother us at all. Please don't worry about coming and going any time of day or night as you please. We are a pretty chill couple of empty-nesters, so nothing much bothers us. All we ask is that you leave the place tidy, although we do not ask you do any laundry or any house cleaning! We have so many great restaurants in the area, and will provide references should you desire. And, we have a barbecue grill area, along with a fire pit.

- "This detached studio is very comfortable with a kitchen, sitting area, bed & small bathroom in a space big enough to move around and spread out in. The parking is private in the neighborhood alley, which is just steps away and felt very secure. I was sad to not meet the resident doggo, but we weren’t there long. Our only complaints were how soft the bed is — we both kept landing in the same spot in the middle — and the very cramped shower that flooded under the shower door onto the bathroom floor. They’re aware of this (there’s a note about it) and it’s a concrete floor, so we didn’t worry about it too much. We’d definitely stay here again."

You can pack up the kids, stop at the store and move on in to your vacation home at Hayden Lake. Not only does a breathtaking mountain and waterfront view await you but a comfy 2 bedroom home with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a popular open-floor plan. Enjoy the fabulous lake view while preparing your next meal. The kids will love their very own digs in our optional bunkhouse rental and even bring friends (sleeps 6). We provide propane for gas BBQ.

Day times will be filled with swimming off your own private rock or the newly built dock and sunning on the spacious sundeck. There are numerous water toys for adults and kids and lots of room to enjoy group activities or just kick-back and relax. This unique Lookout Tower will sleep 4 and will offer spectacular views and a memorable hiking experience. It is a HIKING destination. It will require a 3 mile hike. Please see updated video! Located at 4700ft near Redemption Rock in Post Falls Idaho, enjoy views of WA and ID, including Liberty and Coeur D'Alene Lakes. The tower is solar powered and in range for all cellular providers. The trail head, parking and Tower are located on 950 acres of private property. There is NO running water. This is a dry cabin, equipped with an outdoor propane grill and indoor wood burning fireplace. Bottled water is provided. The hiking distance from the trail head at Redemption Rock Lodge is 3 miles. Be prepared to hike in and out supplies you will need for your stay. You are asked to clean before you go. No linens. Hike in your own sleeping bags. Propane, large sleeping cots, bottled water is provided.

- "We had a wonderful time taking in the views from the tower and watching the birds play in the wind gusts, we were up in the sky with them. I can't imagine doing this hike, we rode in on a side by side with our dog. It took us two trips to get our very minimal supplies up there. Parts of the trail are very steep and even the side by side had trouble getting grip. Just as the other reviews say, this is a very advanced hike and you would need lots of water to drink on the way up. My only regret was that we really only needed one night to enjoy this place and I had booked two nights. So the second day was long and could be boring for some but we liked relaxing, sleeping, and reading. Also it's not very obvious whether there is power or lights. There is both, provided mostly by solar means to battery packs and then there is a power converter in the main part of the cabin to charge phones and the like."

This centrally located, contemporary home is just 10 minutes from Coeur d'Alene and 35 minutes from both Silverwood theme park and Spokane International airport.

Totaling 640 sq ft, our home was built as a mother-in-law suite in 2007. The space consists of a master bedroom with queen bed, full kitchen with breakfast bar, 3/4 bathroom (shower only- no tub), full laundry, built in desk and living room. A user-friendly thermostat makes controlling the central air conditioning and furnace a breeze. Wireless internet and Roku tv with netflix account already logged in are provided.

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and plenty of closet space to accommodate personal belongings. Other sleeping options include a queen size sofa sleeper which is located in the living room and children's pack-n-play.

You can expect a fully equipped kitchen boasting full sized appliances along with a Keurig coffee maker. Upon arrival, the kitchen will be stocked with coffee. There is both a super center and grocery store located within a mile of the house making it easy to grab everything else you need to make your stay just like home.

On the outside, a covered patio provides a sheltered space for enjoying the beautiful north Idaho weather. Two adirondack chairs, a table, and gas grill are in this space as well. On the west side of the house, you will find a sidewalk that connects the driveway in back to the patio in front. A large garage with parking big enough for large suv's and pickup trucks is especially convenient during those bad weather days.

The neighborhood is private and kid friendly with many restaurants located less than 5 minutes away. We have included menus from some of our favorites as well as magazines outlining the exciting adventures the area has to offer each season.

We are sister and brother, born in Salmon, Idaho, where our father worked with the US Forest Service (we always thought we had a personal connection with Smokey the Bear!). Our father’s work ultimately took us to California, where we settled in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jan and her husband, Craig, moved to the Coeur d’ Alene area with their two young sons in the early 1990s, following another sister and her family. Now our mother and a third sister have joined them in beautiful North Idaho.

Rick lives on the East Coast, where we works as a wine & beverage consultant. He tries to get to Coeur d’ Alene as often as possible, not just for the family card games, but also for the daily, morning walks on Tubbs Hill!

Jan, along with sister Julie, is a realtor in Coeur d’ Alene and has in depth knowledge of the region. Husband Craig is an avid sportsman and knows the best places to fly fish, or ice fish, depending on the season!

In addition to the A-frame cabin and seperate bunkhouse, there are 2 RV spaces on a 40x40 level gravel pad- if you have RV's, or choose to rent them.

From late May through September enjoy our awesome water toys - a massive water trampoline with balance log and launch pad, 4 SUP's, inflatable rafts and kayaks, three 17ft canoes, over a dozen lifevests of all sizes, masks and snorkels, fishing poles, and more! Also enjoy the BBQ, firepit, tables and chairs plus umbrellas on the beach. If adventurous, you can use the hard watercraft anytime of year including winter as the lake is deep here and won't freeze, plus the dock is designed for all-year use.

Also available are his and her bikes and kids bikes for the Centennial Trail. Bringing young kids? - there are bike trailers too. And having ample property, in addition to biking and lake fun, I have a variety of seasonal outdoor games - Frisbee golf, cornhole, horseshoes, tether ball, snowshoes and cross country skis, and other fun stuff as the list keeps growing. In fact if you think of any toys or amenities we don't currently have (ebikes, snowbikes, rental boats, etc) please ask and I'll try to find a way to get them, or at the very least help direct you where to go.

*** PLEASE NOTE that the main cabin bedroom is an open mezzanine. It feels very private as guests below can't see you, but take this into consideration if staying with others. And note the size of the cabin, it's 642 sqft with loft but feels more spacious thanks to the open floor plan and soaring ceiling. Also note that guests beyond two persons will need to use the closely spaced but very comfortable queen sized futons in the common area, or the seperate bunkhouse that contains a full loft bed, full adjustable massage bed below, and a full sofa sleeper (for a total of 6 double sleeper beds). Bunkhouse use does have an added $50 cleaning fee. If you have a booking beyond 2 people and want to consider it, please let me know at the time of booking ***

IMPORTANT LAKE NOTICE - there is a public road (Coeur d'Alene Lake Dr) between the cabin and lake, and a 80' tall lake embankment with trail before the beach. The pathway is a little steep, including stair sections (70 stars total, see pics), so please be in average physical condition and watch the little ones if taking advantage of the lake and docks. It's not too bad, I go down it often with family and friends including young and old, just be aware of it. Also CDA Lake Dr can get busy depending on time of day and season, though there is no through traffic as it dead ends less than a mile from the cabin. No gates installed yet on both sides of the half circular driveway, so watch the kids and any pets during your stay. Untrained pets not recommended.

PET NOTICE - We are dog friendly, but ALL dogs require pre-approval, and come with rules and are subject to a $50 pet fee per animal if approved. ALL other pets please inquire. No cats, sorry :(

For activity lovers, north Idaho is an amazing four season playground for watersports, hiking, biking, atv riding, fishing, gem finding, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, etc. Down-time activities include a growing list of excellent restaurants (including Tony's on the Lake just walking distance from the cabin!), bars, music venues, coffee houses, and a wide variety of shops. Information buffs can explore the area's rich history in forestry, mining, and transportation via some great local tours and museums. Clean, comfortable house with two private master suites less than 5 miles from Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Spokane River, and 16 miles from Silverwood Theme Park. Steps away from the Prairie Trail, which connects to the Centennial Trail system. There are many included items to make your stay more enjoyable like a stroller, cornhole boards and bags, pickleball paddles and balls, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, etc! Enjoy your own country themed, patriotic, separate, 400sq ft guest suite in our house. Think tiny home :) Featuring a private entrance, private patio area with a picnic table and charcoal grill, bathroom, kitchenette with an oven range. Our tub is tall and small, and small children may need assistance getting in. We do have some patriotic and religious art and items in our place and let all of our guests know that beforehand so they can determine if this is a good fit for them. :) We are in an older middle class neighborhood, but our area is very safe, friendly, and all our neighbors watch out for one another. We have 1 main bed and 1 couch bed in the rest area. We are located 15 minutes from downtown Coeur D'Alene Idaho, in Post Falls Idaho, and 5 minutes from Qemiln Park Beach. 1 minute away from Black Bay open space park, with a very small beach area, and 5 minutes from Kiwanis open space park with another small beach area, We are also about 6 minutes from Falls park where their is waterfall and pond. All parks are open space with trails and close to water. 5 minutes from downtown Post Falls. 35 minutes from Spokane Intl airport. Also, enjoy all the major attractions of Coeur D'Alene. Our place comfortably fits 2 adults, can snugly fit 2 adults and 2 smaller children. Anything more than that may feel very tight depending on preference. But we welcome up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.
Their is no extra room for extra mattresses, etc. But we have a very comfortable queen size bed, and a queen size lazy boy couch bed and guests may share that. . We have outlet covers available for those with toddlers and safety locks in cabinets with chemicals and drawers with knives.

We are located just 1 mile from downtown Post Falls. Even though the owners live in the main house which is 70' away, the home is very private and we will stay out of your "business". Both owners are Registered Nurses and work full time at their jobs and businesses. The guest home has one king size bed, gas fireplace, air-conditioning, washer/dryer, covered back porch and a flat-screen TV in the living room and bedroom. Free wireless internet. There are two inflatable twin beds available for the kids.

- "Great view" - "We loved our stay! The deck is really the star of the show, great hot tub, views of the lake, and propane fire pit below. Tons of wildlife all around and quiet, starlit sky at night, and a great neighborhood just to walk around and admire. AC was important for our summertime stay and worked great. Beds comfy and clean with lots of pillow options. The dishwasher did leak when we first ran it, but the host was quick to respond and send someone out. The master bath was wonderful but know that is not a shower, so be prepared to have a single shower. Great trip!"

Charming two story home, built in 1919 & updated in 2019. It maintains its authentic character with modern cozy comforts.

Upstairs Level offers Master Bedroom with King Bed, 1st Guest Room with Queen Bed, 2nd Guest Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds, & Bathroom. Main level offers a charming entry, comfortable Living Room, Den with Full Size Bed Conversion, Full Size Bathroom with a Claw Foot Tub, Wonderful Kitchen, Laundry Room/Mud Room and easy access to both front porch and back patio.

Open the white picket gate and step up onto a welcoming front porch, enter through the front door to find a small foyer. Immediately on your left a stairwell leading to the 2nd floor and on your right the entrance to the living room. Across the living room down the hallway the den (optional 4th bedroom) will be on your left and up ahead around a corner on your right, a full size bath. Continuing down the hallway you will come to the kitchen which includes a large dining area. Looking out the kitchen windows you will enjoy views of the back patio. Turn to your left and enter into the adjoining laundry room with back door that opens onto the side yard.

From the front door-foyer take the stairs to the 2nd floor. Once at the top immediately at your right is the 2nd bathroom. Immediately to the right is the Master bedroom with a king size bed. At your left is the 2nd bedroom with a Queen size bed, and on your right the 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds.

- "My family had a great time at the cabin on the lake. If you plan to bring your boat its well worth it. We launched our boat at Mineral Ridge boat ramp which is just a few minutes from the house via boating. We read about the stairs so we loaded everything on the boat. Went out for a few hours before check in and enjoyed the lake. When it was time to check in we just tied up to the very nice dock and unloaded. ( Make sure to bring plenty of bumpers as the lake is choppy with boat traffic) Unloading from dock makes it easy and you avoid the stairs. Wife took me back to boat ramp and picked up truck and trailer. Drive to cabin was 10 mins and there is plenty of parking for boat and trailer and room to maneuver. Yes there is about 95 steps to get down to cabin but once your settled in we never had a need to go back up top. Cabin was great, plenty of room and beds were cozy. Huge deck and you don't get the late day sun so evenings are cool and enjoyable. There is a small fire pit which we used and enjoyed. Cabin is very private and if you do see the neighbors they are friendly. We explored the entire lake on the boat and had a great time. Lots of little marinas to stop and explore. I would recommend tying up in the town of Harrison. We would definitely recommend a stay here and plan to come back."

BEDROOMS AND BATHS: This home has two comfortable bedrooms with plenty of natural light and beautiful mountain views. The master suite upstairs has a comfortable queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen bed and two large windows that catch the cross breezes, and extra mountain views. Just around the corner from the second bedroom is a full bathroom with a second walk-in shower.

INDOOR LIVING: The modern kitchen has every amenity, from top of the line appliances and granite countertops to a large variety of cookware and dishes you’ll need to prepare those special meals. Included is a microwave, convection oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, large deep sink, coffee maker, blender and toaster. This apartment shares a common entrance/foyer with the other units in the building. The apartment is approximately 550 sqft, and noise from other guests or tenants may be possible. The AC is provided through a window unit and heating is through electric base boards. Parking: there is off street parking provided in the gravel parking lot via the alley at the back of the building. You are also welcome to utilize any available street parking as well. Pets are NOT to be left unattended unless crated.

Feel the cares of the world disappear as you enter your Serene Suite. It is a north facing basement suite with sound dampening ceilings giving a serene atmosphere. It has a private bedroom, private bathroom, living room with an electric fire place, TV, and free internet, and kitchenette with a coffee pot and refrigerator. There is a separate key to lock the suite. The only shared part is coming in the front door of the house and going down the stairs to the basement.

Park in the open space in the driveway then use the last 4 digits of your phone # as the code to come on in when you arrive. Then just head downstairs, turn right and enter the door that says, "Serene Suite" on the right. It's almost as good as walking into your own home!

Other things to note
Since we keep our price low we do not provide breakfast. There is a coffee pot available in the kitchenette in the suite with coffee and creamer in the fridge.

This bedroom has a separate entry and a shared bathroom. there is another room to rent next to it if you need 2 rooms. The deck is 420 sqft beautiful with a couch , tables and recliner, a great place to relax anytime.
It is on the second floor so there are steps to go up. But then you feel like you are in your own getaway. This room is about 200 square feet. It is only 10 mins from downtown and 5 mins from the freeway by car. It feels like you are in the country but only mins from downtown.

With your own entry , you will enjoy it being private. Included in your room is a coffee pot, Refrigerator, TV and microwave. There is also dish TV and free WiFi for your use. The deck and hall bathroom are shared with the other airbnb room, I have my own private bathroom. Full kitchen and propane BBQ with everything you should need to prepare everything from beach sandwiches to BBQ feasts. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful from here. Join us for life on the lake!

This property is a duplex with two units. Loon #2 is the top unit.
