It's not the Ritz, but this “cabin-themed” guest house is very clean and private! There is a queen bed, a full size futon, an inflatable full size mattress, and a Graco crib upon request. Extra sheets and blankets are provided. Possibly best suited to families due to the curtain-only bedroom and only one proper bed.

A hairdryer, iron/ ironing board are provided. There is a shower, no bathtub. Shampoo and conditioner, as well as various other bathroom sundries are included under the sink.

There is an apartment-sized washer and dryer with laundry pods and dryer sheets, a microwave and toaster, a fully-stocked kitchen including dishes, pots/pans, and a stove/oven. Spices, oils, salt and pepper, etc. are in the cupboard for you. There is a regular coffee pot and Keurig with a variety of drink pods included!

We are 8 miles from Silverwood down a pretty side road, and we are centrally located between many lakes including Lake Pend Oreille, Coeur d’ Alene Lake, and Hayden Lake.

There is a covered parking garage area for your car. Sometimes our boats are being stored on the other half of the garage.

You may self-check in any time after 3 PM with keypad entry to the guest house. We respect your privacy, so you may never see us. You will drive by our main house to get to the guest house, but you will not bother us at all. Please don't worry about coming and going any time of day or night as you please. We are a pretty chill couple of empty-nesters, so nothing much bothers us. All we ask is that you leave the place tidy, although we do not ask you do any laundry or any house cleaning! During the summer, the river activity is incredible. Be prepared to get a fishing license and fish off our dock (competing with boats that gather around our home).
Watch people surfing behind boats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, etc or be prepared to do some of it yourself.
We have so many great restaurants in the area, and will provide references should you desire. And, we have a barbecue grill area, along with a fire pit.
This is the perfect destination for those that want a very enjoyable time with outdoor living, and dining, or barbecuing. It is not best serving to those that plan large party gathering.

- "This detached studio is very comfortable with a kitchen, sitting area, bed & small bathroom in a space big enough to move around and spread out in. The parking is private in the neighborhood alley, which is just steps away and felt very secure. I was sad to not meet the resident doggo, but we weren’t there long. Our only complaints were how soft the bed is — we both kept landing in the same spot in the middle — and the very cramped shower that flooded under the shower door onto the bathroom floor. They’re aware of this (there’s a note about it) and it’s a concrete floor, so we didn’t worry about it too much. We’d definitely stay here again."
