- "The property was cozy, clean and the host was prompt on responses. We enjoyed our Christmas with the family and will definitely stay again." - "Reading the description and what we got were night and day. Where was the cozy fireplace, not working. Not quite sure what recently update meant, looks like 10-12 years ago. From the outside entrance with dead leaves (January) to walk over and dead trees and broken pots everywhere. When opening the door the mat inside was a dirty mess. Walking into the house was the same. Rugs not vacuum, and carpets very very stain, not pretty. The Refigerator a dirty mess. House fireplace broken. Shower head broken, bathroom sink broken, hair in shower floor, went to wipe up the cloth BLACK, walked from bath to down stairs the fresh white socks black on the bottom. - "So I booked this property not knowing it’s a IGH Hotel.…I thought it was a condo, kinda like misrepresented what it actually was. In addition, I could have got a queen size bed for cheaper on the hotel website. The property stinks, at least on the first floor like terrible bad feet. Bad for the hotel and a bad look in general. I’m pretty sure it goes against Vrbo policy since you are advertising your brand on their app/website. Beware that this is a hotel, check the website for cheaper rates and a larger bed. If anything the hotel is using this site to take advantage of people."

My road is a Snow Emergency Route, which means it will always be plowed out quickly. But please be aware that hazardous snowfall conditions might occur any time between November and April.

The gas firepit under the gazebo is available. Ask John for propane. Its $18 and can be added to your reservation. The gas BBQ is available year round and the propane is included in your rental price. A charcoal grill is also available. The pool opens the end of March every year.

In the summer the gardens are full of tropical plants. The gazebo plastic panels are adjusted to have the warm breeze blow through the insect screening but still having a few panels closed so you can enjoy the summer storms while staying inside the gazebo. The experience to be outdoors under the gazebo with the metal roof during a summer storm. Lightening bugs illuminate the gardens at night. Both the gas BBQ and charcoal grills are available. Propane for the gas BBQ is included in your rental, bring your own charcoal for the charcoal grill. The gas firepit under gazebo is $18 for propane and can be added to your reservation. Firewood is also available for the wood firepit $15. The pool temperature is whatever the exterior temperature is.

Autumn…some days are still hot, some evenings warm. There might be frost some mornings. Everyday fluctuates. Bring your hoodies and cozy evening clothes and daytime clothes for warm sunny days. The views of the changing fall foliage will inspire. Escaping the cities in any season to the countryside. A crackling wood fire on an autumn evening.

After arriving in front of the gates, a private property awaits you. Years of planted evergreens create the privacy everyone needs after living in the hustle and bustle of the cities. John joined the short term vacation rental business starting with the farmhouse in 2011, one of the first in the Lehigh Valley, becoming a Super Host at the Farmhouse until the end of 2018 with guests coming from all over the world. After selling the farm and carving off over an acre to keep (previously a sheep pasture), a new, smaller, Airbnb experience started summer 2021. Libelula awaits guests who love the outdoors in a countryside setting and need that get~away with an easy short drive away.
