The Wandering Place is a cozy, waterfront retreat tucked away in a quiet & peaceful area of Gantt Lake! A great place to just hang out, relax & enjoy nature. Or if you are looking for adventure, there is plenty of that to offer as well!

The water is just a few steps away from the back porch & we have a great dock for those who love to fish or swim. You will also have access to the boat ramp & slip.

This lake cottage features three bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room complete with washer & dryer, inside & outside dining area, a living room & a spacious back deck with a perfect view of the lake.

Each bedroom has one queen bed & linens are provided.

The kitchen space includes a microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, tea kettle & has everything needed to prepare a fully cooked meal. You just need to bring the food! I do provide some coffee, Keurig cups & tea selections to get your stay started. There is a 4 person table in the dining nook & there is also an 8 person table provided on the outside patio.

You will have access to a washer/dryer so don't forget the laundry detergent!

Each bathroom will include hand soap, towels & bath cloths.

Our outside deck has plenty of seating so you can relax, take in our beautiful lake sunsets & hang out with family & friends. I do have a variety of board games available so please feel free to use them!

Please be sure to bring any water toys with you...boat, jet ski, floats, paddle board, kayak, fishing poles, ect. We have a boat slip that you are welcome to use.

A beautiful ranch home in a safe neighborhood 3 BR/2 full bath, approximately 1650 Sq Ft only 3 miles from Fort Rucker front gate. The home is beautifully decorated and will surely make you feel at home. There is a large back yard with a privacy fence and a 6-burner gas grill and patio furniture for leisure. Our beds are comfortable with 100% Bamboo sheets.
