This Bronson house boasts 3 inviting bedrooms. The bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished with a king bed (with a crib also), a queen bed, and a bunk bed (with an extra pull-out mattress underneath). The serene atmosphere of the property will make guests feel right at home. With amenities like a washing machine, AC, heating, iron, WiFi, and a hair dryer, your stay will be nothing short of terrific. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub and shower for your convenience. But the best room in the house (IMO) is the Sun Room! It has great views of the lake and when you open the windows and feel the breeze you will be able to sigh away all the stress of daily life. This home is minutes away from shopping, restaurants, Pokagon State Park, movie theaters, winery, and many other area attractions. It is also close to the Public Boat Access to launch your boat. There are 2 Jet Ski Floating Docks for use. A state park pass is included and 3 kayaks and a jon row boat are available for your enjoyment. (there are a couple life vest but suggest to bring your own)

Tracey was awesome with her communication regarding what is there, i.e. extra cots, how many refrigerators etc.... and for just about any question you may ask. I cannot comment on renting the pontoon etc...since we were golfing but a great place for reunions, families etc.... see you next year." - "We rented this property for a family vacation and appreciated its proximity to the beach. The home had plenty of space for seven adults and two kids, and the extra building with the hot tub, pool table, and table tennis was great to be able to use! We also appreciated that we could use the golf cart to get to and from the beach. Jimmerson Lake is a 203 acre lake that is popular for fishing and is also open to skiers. The cottage is located on a large cove of the lake with less ski boat traffic making it easier to float or swim. Take your boat and access all the lakes on the Lake James chain including Jimmerson Lake, Lake James (1,039 acres), Snow Lake (421 acres), Big Otter Lake and Little Otter Lake.
The cottage is the perfect relaxing retreat for a family or avid fishermen who plan to spend most of their time outdoors and on the lake. Peace and quiet during the Fall and Spring is a fantastic time to visit and get away from the hustle and bustle! Take time to unwind! The cottage has a small but functional kitchen with stove, sink and refrigerator with a large round table that seats 8. Standard kitchen items included. Three bedrooms (2 with closet space) are charming with plenty of windows to let the breeze blow through. Two of the bedrooms offer lake views. Additional sleeping is available with a sofa sleeper bed. The single bathroom offers a remodeled feel with a shower only - no tub.
Spend your days on the lake: boating, swimming, and fishing then spend your evenings playing yard games in the adjacent shaded lot or relaxing with the sunset views from the deck. Plenty of private lakefront footage includes a seawall with sandy walk in access area. Water stays around knee high for 15 feet from seawall perfect for children and allows easy access for kayaks/canoe. Adjacent lot offers ample parking space as well as room to set up badminton, croquet, corn hole or toss a ball. In addition bring some firewood for the fire pit located on adjacent lots.
This excellent location on the lake is located within a 1/2 mile of a well maintained free conservation public boat access. In addition, the cottage is near Pokagon State Park, and Trine conservation area for hiking and biking, Tom's Donuts and several excellent local restaurants. If you prefer to fish, you can access through channels Big Otter Lake and Little Otter Lake which are non-ski lakes. Fishermen may find largemouth bass, brook trout, brown trout, bluegill, and flathead catfish as well as Northern Pike, Walleye, and Crappie throughout the chain of lakes.
Home Owners are sharing their 2 kayaks, canoe and rowboat. The cottage also comes with beach style chairs, lawn chairs and plenty of seating on the deck.
The cottage does have wifi. There is room on the pier so if guests choose, boats may be rented from The Corner Landing or guests may bring their own boat. Free lake boat access less than a mile away.

It is smallish, with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, but the open living room and kitchen did not feel crowded with our visiting family of up to 12 at times. The deck is great, and 2 kayaks, a row boat and canoe kept us active, as well as a very large area on the hill for croquet, corn hole, a nice fire area and extra parking. Totally remodeled one level lake house, on Snow lake channel, sleeps 9 people 60 feet of sand beach, boat dock with layout area, fire pit by beach!Our family has so much fun here and would like to share it with yours. House sits on quiet caudel-sac. Kitchen, dining room, and living room are an open concept, so it is very nice for large families. Living room is 20 by 20 so people can sleep in there also. This home sits on the East bank of beautiful Snow Lake. The sunsets from your patio are jaw dropping. There is a large water front that will be perfect for boating or swimming and a new dock and swim area GREAT for wading, swimming and floating!

Our newly constructed home (2022) has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Designed to comfortably sleep 12 guests, our open concept kitchen comes complete with dishes, cookware, and spices. There are also two separate living rooms, each with its own Smart TV for entertainment.

Indoor activities include ping pong, foosball, and Pac-Man, while outdoor activities when seasonally available feature pickleball court, basketball hoop (BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALL), cornhole, and Kanjam. You can gather around the lower back patio propane Fire Pit on cool evenings or light up the upper deck gas grill for barbecuing on sunny afternoons. All linens are provided except for beach towels.

The dock is available if you bring a boat. Boat rental is available at the Corner Landing nearby. You can conveniently navigate your rental boat directly from Corner Landing rental to our dock. Enjoy the seasonal boat rental services offered at Corner Landing (CornerLanding.net) and take advantage of the convenience of parking your boat at our private dock. The easement to the dock is about a 200 yard walk across a yard, with access to Snow Lake, part of the Chain of Lakes that includes Lake James, Jimmerson Lake, and Big Otter Lake. Please note there is not a swimmable shoreline near the private dock. However, there is a public access site at the end of our road where you can swim and also, and just three miles away, you can find Pokagon State Park, which offers a sandy beach area. Additionally, there are various enjoyable attractions such as movie theaters, winery tours, as well as boat launches, shopping centers, and restaurants in the area.

Carrie and Greg have thought of EVERYTHING! From a fully equipped kitchen to pickle ball court! You really only need to bring beach towels and sunscreen. We loved that the private boat dock was close, but we still had room for corn hole boards, running around, and outdoor bubbles for the littles. The location is great too. We were able to play golf, disc golf, visit a state park, and shop all within 10-15 minute drive. Carrie provided us with great information when we arrived about restaurants, swimming spots, sandbars, etc. Snow Lake is so calm and peaceful, but you could also travel on the chain of lakes for a different experience. Everyone left having a great experience!"

- "The property was great! Glen and Joann were pleasant and helpful and checked in to make sure everything was okay. We had 10 adults, a teenager, a child and 2 infants in the house. We really had a great time. We enjoyed the firepit twice. We set up corn hole in the front yard. We thoroughly enjoyed the boat. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for several large meals. The living room was large enough for all of us to be together. We really appreciated all the towels! We washed them a couple times, but there were plenty for all of us. The little perks of shampoo, conditioner & body wash along with dish detergent and laundry detergent were so very nice. It was a great place for all of us to get together from several states."

- "The entire property has been completely updated. The beds are comfortable for sleeping and the rooms have plenty of closet and storage space for clothes. The linens and towels there are also plenty available. The outdoor area which is directly on the lake is very nice and you can swim right off of the little beach and Dock area on the property. 🚭 No Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the home. Please use designated outdoor areas and ensure you are at least 25 feet away from the house. Improper disposal of smoking materials may result in fines.

🐾 No Pets
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate pets at this time. While we love animals, the space is not pet-friendly.

🎉 No Parties or Events
Parties and events are not permitted. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM and must be strictly observed. Any noise complaints will result in fines.

🤫 Respect the Neighbors
This is a peaceful, residential lake community. Please be respectful and keep noise levels down, especially in the evenings.

👫 Registered Guests Only
Only registered guests are allowed on the property at any time.
If the total number of guests exceeds your reservation, additional fees will apply per person, per night.
Unregistered guests or day visitors are not permitted and may result in fines or termination of your stay.

🚗 Parking
There are 3 parking spots allotted to The Lookout. Please park only in designated areas—no parking on the grass.
Due to space limitations, make arrangements in advance to fit all vehicles. There is no on-site or overflow parking available.

👶 Children & Water Safety
Children must be actively supervised at all times, especially near the water. The lakefront area is not childproof, and guest safety is our highest priority.

🎆 No Fireworks
Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited—including sparklers, firecrackers, or other pyrotechnics. Violations will result in fines.

👤 Primary Guest Requirement
The person who booked the reservation must be present and staying at the property.
Bookings cannot be made on behalf of others if the primary guest is not in attendance.

- "We were in town for a memorial service and decided to rent a house vs get multiple hotel rooms. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. It's right across the street from the lake. The hosts were very accommodating and let us sit on their dock area and let our kids use their lilypad to have fun in the lake. The house had everthing we needed. The basement has 2 sets of bunkbeds which was perfect for our 4 kids. The basement became a beloved hangout for them as they loved the basketball nets, Foosball and giant tv. They had tons of space. The first floor bedroom was great for my parents age 80. There are 3 large bedrooms upstairs plus another tv sitting room with large couch and another bed. So many places to sleep. The entire house is decorated beautifully. We rented the golf cart and really enjoyed the fresh air while touring around the lake. At night, we used the firepit and enjoyed looking at the stars which we don't get to see much of being from the Chicago area. I highly recommend this house and we were sad to leave. Our hosts really made sure we enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much! We will always have fond memories of our stay. "

We offer lake living for a fraction of other rentals in our area. Our home goes for $99 nightly for up to 4 people while a home across from our association beach goes for almost 400. Add another 24 percent for Steuben and Indiana State taxes and that is almost 500 a night. Our home is newly remodeled and features a large open living area with the kitchen flowing to the open dining room flowing to the living room. The large 55 inch Panasonic TV with DVD player is view-able throughout. There are two bedrooms down a short hallway with the bathroom and laundry room in between. The master bedroom is at the end of the hallway. Our huge lot is snuggled between two private roads and many trees where the main traffic is an occasional golf cart heading to a private playground and beach about two blocks away. Our lot features some tall trees all around with a wonderful private picnic area highlighted with a large open fire pit for cooking or just telling war stories around. There is plenty of area to throw a football or Frisbee. All is new with our remodel. All new drywall wall, new vinyl plank wood flooring, new elegant front door. new tub and shower and more. Brand new kitchen from Menards with custom cabinets. We are also adding a new window air-conditioning, washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and new light fixtures. The home is 1.1 miles from the area known as 4 corners with Mexican and 4 other family restaurants. One restaurant and private brewery is Mad Anthony's within 3/4 of a mile. There is the famous Toms donuts and a frozen yogurt shop where you can sit and watch many boats go by heading to and from Lake James from Jimmerson. There are also boat and dock rentals including pontoons Jet skis and ski boats. We have access to Lake Jimmerson that connects to Lake James, Snow lake, Big Otter, and Little Otter (see map). Pokagen state park is just a few miles away over looking Lake James. Unless you need more than 4 people come enjoy your stay here and use the $400 dollar daily savings to rent a boat or take in many events.
