We are located in a unique neighborhood on the Delaware Bay. The neighborhood is surrounded by wildlife refuge.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms- a large primary with a queen; and 2 smaller bedrooms- one with a bunk bed (2-twins, top bunk has a 175 pound weight limit), and a third bedroom with a daybed that can be pulled out to make a king. The cottage has a full bathroom; powder room and outdoor shower. This is great for multiple guests- adults love the outdoor shower-and no lines for the bathroom. The 2 indoor living spaces and kitchen have water views. Enjoy the view from our outdoor deck and fishing pier. Walk the beach during low tide, discover hidden coves, see eagles, go fishing and and crabbing.
The house is centrally postitioned between Stone Harbor, Wildwood and Cape May beaches. Explore Bellplaine State Park and the areas numerous bike and hiking trails. There are several farm stands along Route 47 and in the vicinity. We are located near several grocery stores.

Home rental is ideal for families concerned with food allergies or dietary restrictions. We recognize the importance of dietary control. Our kitchen is stocked with spices, condiments and appliances. We provide paper towels, trash bags, propane for grilling, cleaning supplies.

Our neighbors are great and helpful. This is a family oriented neighborhood. If you have children, they will have playmates. There are migratory birds; winery/brewery and distillery tours; different festivals featuring art, music, craft beer and foods. From our home- easy to visit multiple attractions in a day. - "We had a really wonderful stay at Grey Gulle! The house is very spacious and comfortable. It looks just like the pictures. The beach is absolutely beautiful and not crowded at all. The water is warm and the waves are very gentle and great for small children. The only thing to be aware of is that if the wind is coming from a certain direction, there could be biting flies at the beach. The flies were an issue 1 day out of the 7 we were there, and it was worth the trade off for the empty beach. We had 5 adults and 4 kids staying and we had plenty of space for everyone. We especially liked that we could all sit around the table and on the couches together. The kids' ages range from 9 to 1, and they all had a blast. The older kids loved the ping pong table, and the younger kids loved all of the beach toys available. They even had a pack 'n play and a high chair available for the 1 year old. Communication with the host before our trip was very helpful and check-in was very easy. We found check out to be fairly easy as well. It was a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to go back again!"

THE AREA.
The Villas is a small residential Delaware Bay community, 20 minutes from Cape May (2 beach tags included) and Wildwood beaches. The bay ecosystem is home to so many birds, horseshoe crabs, and sea life. We’ve even seen dolphins in the spring! Sunset walks are a must.

Although this part of the bay isn’t typically used for swimming, it is perfect for young children wading and water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking. There are lots of local places to eat, grab ice cream, rent bikes or paddle boards, etc. Or drive 15-20 mins into the beach towns of Cape May and Wildwood to swim with lifeguards and surf the real waves!

THE UNIT.
Nestled on the Delaware Bay with a private patio and expansive water views, this modern yet comfy, newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment has floor to ceiling beach/bay and sunset views. This unit is a serene mix of design and nature where you can enjoy the gorgeous sunsets, changing tides, and nature's best show either indoors or out.

The big sliding glass door allows you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. At high tide, the water is right at your feet! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far). It’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the ocean).

This unit sits on the ground floor of a triplex- a complete unit with your own private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, patio, and living room/dining area. Two beach tags for Cape May are included, but guests will be charged replacement fees if they are not returned at check-out since the next guests will need them.

LIVING & DINING AREA.
The main room has a brand new kitchen with newer appliances, a sofa that looks out at the bay (and can sleep one person in a pinch), a comfy swivel chair, tv with WiFi and Apple TV (but no cable TV), and a dining table.

BEDROOM.
The queen bed is comfy with a new mattress and both privacy shades and curtains.

OUTDOORS.
This apartment sits on the first floor of a two-story typically quiet triplex (three separate units). The large 4 bedroom unit upstairs is also listed if you are looking for more space or to coordinate with friends or relatives. This rental includes use of shared outdoor Weber grill and picnic tables.

You won’t find better sunset views anywhere! Walk straight out the sliding glass doors to a covered (private) patio or another 40 feet and you’re right on the small beach. Your private patio includes both relaxed seating and a bistro set for eating outdoors.

"Baydreamer" is a reverse floorplan with the kitchen, living room, and dining room on the third floor. The open space allows for your family to spend time together cooking, eating, watching TV, or playing board games. Eat-in kitchen with center island accommodates 5 people. Separate dining area has seating for 8. Appliances include stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove, and microwave.

Our home includes five bedrooms which have a king bed, two queen beds, two twin over twin bunk beds, and two twin beds. Each bedroom features a flat-screen smart TV with Amazon Fire with DirecTV Stream. Ceiling fans are included in the living room and in each bedroom with the exception of the two rooms with bunk beds.

The spa-like master bathroom features a slipper tub with direct views of the water in addition to the custom-tiled shower. The second and third bathrooms include a shower/tub combination.

The home includes a washer and dryer. DirecTV with HBO and high speed Internet/WiFi are included.

Public beach access is just one block away with a walk of just 200 feet. The location allows you to go from the beach and back to the house with ease, with no packing up for an all-day beach trip.

THE AREA:
This 4br 2 bath unit sits on the top floor of a triplex, suited for families and quiet groups (with two separate additional units on the ground floor). "The Villas" is a small residential Delaware Bay community, 15-20 minutes from both Cape May and Wildwood beaches. The perfect spot for the excitement of Wildwood, the quaintness of Cape May, and the beauty of sunsets on the Delaware Bay.

Although most people head to the beaches for swimming, the small bay beach in front of the house is wonderful for walking, fishing, (small child) wading, and exploring. There are local places to eat, grab ice cream, rent bikes or paddle boards, etc. Or head into the beach towns of Cape May and Wildwood to swim with lifeguards and surf the real waves. 4 Cape May beach tags are available for your use.

INSIDE
Inside, you can hang out and enjoy the view from two large comfy sectionals, a dining table that seats 10, or the breakfast bar with four stools. The kitchen and great room were completely renovated and decorated in 2021.

Big sliding glass doors, screens, and windows everywhere allow you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. At high tide, it looks like you’re on the bow of a ship! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far, but it’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the bay). Lots of birds, tons of horsehoe crabs and gorgeous scenery that changes drastically over the course of the day.

Two bedrooms have comfy queen beds, one bedroom has a new king bed, and the fourth has a twin over full bunk. Every bedroom has a water view. Two are small, one is medium, and the other is larger. Pack light and enjoy the views!

The two full bathrooms are newly renovated as well- one is a traditional tub/shower combo and the other is a small glass surround shower.

Fast WiFi and Apple TV (but no cable TV service provided) with a bonus smaller tv in the bunk room if you want to bring and plug in your gaming system.

OUTDOORS
A few beach toys, umbrellas, and many beach chairs are available for use. Outdoor hose/shower, two large picnic tables, new lounge furniture, outdoor games, and huge Weber outdoor grill in generous side shared yard.

Linens and towels are provided. Both grocery stores and CVS deliver right to the house, and there are many takeout food and delivery options. This is a great location where you can have as much or as little interaction with others as you wish.

If available when booking, there is an additional 1 bedroom apartment downstairs- the patio sits right under the upper deck- and on the beach with gorgeous water views. That apartment typically rents for an additional $270/night, but we rent it for $220 to anyone also renting upstairs at the same time. Great set-up for extended family members to connect while having their own space.

But even if you aren't married to a Dance Mom, this place is great for those who are looking for a place to stay for a beach vacation as well. Its close enough that you can hop in your car and be on the beach in 15-20 minutes but far enough away that you have the peace and quiet at night that you rarely get staying in a hotel or motel. Another bonus was that my son and I had a refuge to retreat to during the hours-long downtime between my daughter's performances. We rode go karts, took a walk along the boardwalk, bought some souvenirs and played the newest VR arcade games. It was good to get some quality time together. Jason was great at responding to our questions and also recommending good local restaurants. He made a stressful week less so and I thank him for that."

The property sits along a main road, as the tiny house sits a ways back- You may occasionally hear road noise.

Beach in front of the house is dog friendly! From Memorial Day - Labor Day (technically) dog hours are before 11am and after 4pm. We walk our dog through out the day. Just be respectful and clean up after them. We have a hose and dog wash bucket with shampoo and towels if they need a clean!

This is a first floor walk up with no elevator.

Half of this house is new as of Summer 2022 – two new bedrooms added and a full master bathroom added, plus new carpeting and flooring. Is that a cloud you’re sleeping on? Nope but all beds are new mattresses and a full size comfy couch in living room that is easily converted into another sleeping area if needed. New kitchen updated 2025. Ninja combo cofee maker, all stainless appliances. Washer and Dryer added 2025.

Another plus, your well behaved dog is welcome here and there is a doggie door leading to a large nearly half acre newly fenced back yard. Try finding that on the island! Property backs up to several more acres of woods – can’t even see the neighbors from the home.

Please note – new septic system in 2022 so please only flush toilet paper down the system.

We also ask that if you go out to beach or dinner and leave dogs, please use the dog gate in kitchen to keep dogs in laundry room with access to the doggie door and outdoor fenced area. Do not let dogs roam the main house when you’re gone. That is a reasonable request – many hosts want you to crate the dog but this provides the dog with more space – an entire indoor room with AC, plus the entire fenced in yard.

In peak season I am happy to share my herbs, tomatoes and other vegetables I grow!

The cottage has one bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, small bureau, nightstand and 2 small closets.
Linens are provided and your bed will be made and ready for your arrival.
Extra pillows, blankets and bath towel sets are located in the bedroom closet. We also supply beach towels that can also be used for the hot tub.
2 plush robes are hanging in the closet for your use to/from the hot tub.

Full size bath includes tub/shower, sink with vanity and toilet.
We have body wash and shampoo for your use or feel free to bring your favorite kind.

The living room has a sofa with chase extension and queen size pull out sofa bed, smart tv with Hulu, gas fireplace for those chilly nights in fall and winter as well as plenty of books and a few games.

Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook your favorite meals including a crockpot. Why not cook dinner in the crockpot while you're enjoying time at the beach?
Coffee, tea bags, and sugars are available or bring your favorite kind. A few spices are supplied as well along with a set of grill tools to enjoy a bbq.
Kitchen table seats 4 or enjoy our patio set outback.

Enjoy your morning coffee in the enclosed screened in porch or relax and read a good book on our cozy sofa or love seat.

The outback area is fenced in; perfect if you brought a dog.
Small deck area steps down to the hot tub area with 2 lounge chairs.
Large outside shower with bench, hooks to hang towels/swimsuits and coconut shampoo and body wash to feel like you're in the tropics!
Polywood table with 4 chairs to enjoy a bbq plus a Weber gas to cook some delicious chicken, burgers or steaks!
Don't forget to head down to the bay after dinner to catch the sunset and end the evening sitting under the stars by the firepit or relaxing in the hot tub!

The entire backyard area is private for guests; not shared.
I may have to water the new sod each day and the outside plants however I will call you in advance. I also need to check the hot tub for chemicals.

You are welcome to enjoy the hammock out front and during peak growing season please help yourself to tomatoes, herbs and other veggies from the garden.

Other things to note
The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. During the day you will see people walking, jogging and biking along the road in front of the cottage.
The entrance to the bay is directly across the street.
May is horseshoe crab spawning season. You will see thousands of horseshoe crabs
along the Delaware Bay coastline.
Spawning season coincides with the arrival and migration of shorebirds like Red Knots.

Dogs are permitted on the beach anytime in the off season. Memorial Day-Labor Day dogs are permitted before 11am and after 4pm.
Note: The hot tub is in the fenced in area but does not have a gate or lock around it. There is a cover on it. Please be sure to watch small children around the hot tub.

INDOORS.

This one bedroom apartment has floor/to-ceiling beach/bay views. The big sliding glass door allows you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. At high tide, the water is right at your feet! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far). It’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the bay).

The main room has a new kitchen with new appliances, a comfy sofa that looks out at the bay (and can sleep one person in a pinch), a comfy swivel chair, tv with WiFi and Apple TV (but no cable), and a dining table.

Updated in 2025, the new queen bed is comfy with a new mattress and bedding as well as privacy shades and curtains. Bedding and towels are now included, and pack n play is available upon advance request at the time of booking.

OUTDOORS.

This apartment sits on the first floor of a two-story typically quiet triplex (three separate units). The large 4 bedroom unit upstairs is also on Airbnb if you are looking for more space or to coordinate with friends or relatives. This rental includes use of shared outdoor Weber grill and picnic tables.

You won’t find better sunset views anywhere! Walk straight out the sliding glass doors to a covered (private) patio or another 40 feet and you’re right on the small beach. Your private patio includes both relaxed seating and a bistro set for eating outdoors.

LOCATION.

This listing is beachfront on the Delaware Bay. Nature abounds! The bay ecosystem is home to so many birds, horshoe crabs, and sea life. We’ve even seen dolphins in the spring! Sunset walks are a must.

Although this part of the bay isn’t typically used for swimming, it is perfect for young children wading and water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking.

It’s a short 15-20 minute drive to Cape May and Wildwood beaches and boardwalks where you can swim in the ocean an explore boardwalks, restaurants, and shops.

Gardens, beach, hot tub & fire pit. The best sunsets! Events/weddings are welcome with extra requirements. The entire 1920 Garden Farmhouse is yours. Kick back, relax in this calm stylish space. This 3 bed 2.5 bath updated farmhouse. Outdoor hot tub (March - December), sandy beach next to the best garden area. It's a 2 minute drive to the Delaware bay beach and 15 minute drive to shopping downtown Cape May and 10 minutes to amusements in Wildwoods! Many wineries just waiting for you to tour.

The space
This 1600 square-foot 100 year old farmhouse and grounds can be used for a wedding venue for an extra fee. It has a master bedroom downstairs with an en suite bathroom. Every room has been remodeled and upgraded. The kitchen has a full refrigerator with an ice maker, dishwasher, gas stove and oven. There is a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. It is stocked with Keurig cups and many choices of teas. The master bedroom, on the ground level, is connected to the kitchen. The living room has a sleeper sofa and is next to the kitchen also. All anyone needs for “ground floor space”. The living room stairway goes up to the king bedroom and the queen bedroom. These two bedrooms will share a large spacious bathroom.

The small red barn in the back is my residence. I am the care taker of the property and at your service with advanced notice. I’m available if you need anything specific. Total number of units on the property is three.

The hot tub (March - December) is a five person seating arrangement. Currently it is set at 100°. Bring your beach towels and a robe because it is a little chilly out there at night.

There is an acre of gardens freshly planted and growing fast. Plenty of perennials and annual flowers in the summertime. The gardens are for you to relax and enjoy.

I have brought in 24+ tons of sand for our own beach in the back yard. Plenty of seating around the fire pit. They can be lit only if there is no wind...strictly enforced! We don't want the ambers burning down the forest. Plenty of free fire 🔥 wood. Check with me if you want to light a fire.

Pets are allowed and there is a $50 per night/per pet fee. There is an outside pen with a dog house if you need it. Pets are limited to the lower level of the house. This includes the master bedroom, kitchen and living room. No pets upstairs please. There is a gate to keep the pets from going upstairs.

You will be two minute drive from the house to long walks and sunsets on the bay and 15 minute drive from downtown Cape May or 10 minute drive to the Wildwood beaches. In Cape May you can have a sunrise and a sunset from Cape May Point. In season the shops are open. The pubs are always open for business. A must go to is Congress Hall, the light house, the submarine bunker, the cement ship and maybe take a ride on the Lewes Ferry to Rehoboth Beach Delaware for the day. It's a great experience crossing the Delaware Bay for the day. Drive on or walk on.

There is plenty of free parking here on the farm. The house is limited to 8 people staying overnight. You can have a party during the day. Weddings and events up to 50 people are welcome. There are some requirements and extra charges for any party over 12 people. Let me know if there's a chance there could be more than 8 people on the property.

If you are a photographer and want to do a photo shoot in the gardens, ask about availability. Pricing for photographers is $20/hr to use the gardens as your portrait backgrounds. There is a changing room in the Red Barn office.

Guest access
All guests are welcome to roam the grounds. There is a strict no wind policy for the BIG beach fire 🔥 pit. This area is common grounds.

The main home has a private outdoor hot tub and sitting area with a private bbq and propane fire 🔥 pit.

There is a RV campsite on the grounds. This area has it’s own propane fire 🔥 pit and bbq area for the RV campers.

Please note that there are two barns on the property that guests do not have access to. The wooded property behind us is private property. We do not have permission to go wandering in the woods on the neighbers property. Across the street are hundreds of acres belonging the the wildlife conservation. Lots of birdwatching.

Outside: Outside you will find a covered patio overlooking golf course greens with a dining table and gas grill. There is a small grass area and stairs leading down to the pool.

Pool: The Pool is open Memorial Day Weekend through mid September. Guests do not have access to the jacuzzi and it will not be turned on. There are lounge chairs surrounding the pool. A pool liability waiver is required to be signed prior to arrival.

Parking: There is parking for up to 4 vehicles (stacked) in the driveway as well as a pull off area in front of the home. There is no garage access.

Things Worth Noting: North Wildwood beaches are a 5 minute drive. Stone Harbor, Avalon and Cape May are all 10-15 minutes. The home sits off of the Garden State Parkway and is central to tons of shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, breweries, wineries and more. The Golf Course the home backs is members only.

Things to Note:
~We provide a “starter” supply of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry & dishwasher pods, coffee and tea. This is typically enough to get through 2-4 days depending on needs and size of your group.
~We provide hand soap & shower toiletries in every bathroom along with dishsoap & all purpose cleaner in the kitchen.
~Laundry is located on the first floor off the hallway. There is a full size washer and dryer for guest use.
