We are located in a unique neighborhood on the Delaware Bay. The neighborhood is surrounded by wildlife refuge.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms- a large primary with a queen; and 2 smaller bedrooms- one with a bunk bed (2-twins, top bunk has a 175 pound weight limit), and a third bedroom with a daybed that can be pulled out to make a king. The cottage has a full bathroom; powder room and outdoor shower. This is great for multiple guests- adults love the outdoor shower-and no lines for the bathroom. The 2 indoor living spaces and kitchen have water views. Enjoy the view from our outdoor deck and fishing pier. Walk the beach during low tide, discover hidden coves, see eagles, go fishing and and crabbing.
The house is centrally postitioned between Stone Harbor, Wildwood and Cape May beaches. Explore Bellplaine State Park and the areas numerous bike and hiking trails. There are several farm stands along Route 47 and in the vicinity. We are located near several grocery stores.

Home rental is ideal for families concerned with food allergies or dietary restrictions. We recognize the importance of dietary control. Our kitchen is stocked with spices, condiments and appliances. We provide paper towels, trash bags, propane for grilling, cleaning supplies.

Our neighbors are great and helpful. This is a family oriented neighborhood. If you have children, they will have playmates. There are migratory birds; winery/brewery and distillery tours; different festivals featuring art, music, craft beer and foods. From our home- easy to visit multiple attractions in a day. - "We had a really wonderful stay at Grey Gulle! The house is very spacious and comfortable. It looks just like the pictures. The beach is absolutely beautiful and not crowded at all. The water is warm and the waves are very gentle and great for small children. The only thing to be aware of is that if the wind is coming from a certain direction, there could be biting flies at the beach. The flies were an issue 1 day out of the 7 we were there, and it was worth the trade off for the empty beach. We had 5 adults and 4 kids staying and we had plenty of space for everyone. We especially liked that we could all sit around the table and on the couches together. The kids' ages range from 9 to 1, and they all had a blast. The older kids loved the ping pong table, and the younger kids loved all of the beach toys available. They even had a pack 'n play and a high chair available for the 1 year old. Communication with the host before our trip was very helpful and check-in was very easy. We found check out to be fairly easy as well. It was a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to go back again!"

THE AREA.
The Villas is a small residential Delaware Bay community, 20 minutes from Cape May (2 beach tags included) and Wildwood beaches. The bay ecosystem is home to so many birds, horseshoe crabs, and sea life. We’ve even seen dolphins in the spring! Sunset walks are a must.

Although this part of the bay isn’t typically used for swimming, it is perfect for young children wading and water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking. There are lots of local places to eat, grab ice cream, rent bikes or paddle boards, etc. Or drive 15-20 mins into the beach towns of Cape May and Wildwood to swim with lifeguards and surf the real waves!

THE UNIT.
Nestled on the Delaware Bay with a private patio and expansive water views, this modern yet comfy, newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment has floor to ceiling beach/bay and sunset views. This unit is a serene mix of design and nature where you can enjoy the gorgeous sunsets, changing tides, and nature's best show either indoors or out.

The big sliding glass door allows you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. At high tide, the water is right at your feet! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far). It’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the ocean).

This unit sits on the ground floor of a triplex- a complete unit with your own private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, patio, and living room/dining area. Two beach tags for Cape May are included, but guests will be charged replacement fees if they are not returned at check-out since the next guests will need them.

LIVING & DINING AREA.
The main room has a brand new kitchen with newer appliances, a sofa that looks out at the bay (and can sleep one person in a pinch), a comfy swivel chair, tv with WiFi and Apple TV (but no cable TV), and a dining table.

BEDROOM.
The queen bed is comfy with a new mattress and both privacy shades and curtains.

OUTDOORS.
This apartment sits on the first floor of a two-story typically quiet triplex (three separate units). The large 4 bedroom unit upstairs is also listed if you are looking for more space or to coordinate with friends or relatives. This rental includes use of shared outdoor Weber grill and picnic tables.

You won’t find better sunset views anywhere! Walk straight out the sliding glass doors to a covered (private) patio or another 40 feet and you’re right on the small beach. Your private patio includes both relaxed seating and a bistro set for eating outdoors.

"Baydreamer" is a reverse floorplan with the kitchen, living room, and dining room on the third floor. The open space allows for your family to spend time together cooking, eating, watching TV, or playing board games. Eat-in kitchen with center island accommodates 5 people. Separate dining area has seating for 8. Appliances include stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove, and microwave.

Our home includes five bedrooms which have a king bed, two queen beds, two twin over twin bunk beds, and two twin beds. Each bedroom features a flat-screen smart TV with Amazon Fire with DirecTV Stream. Ceiling fans are included in the living room and in each bedroom with the exception of the two rooms with bunk beds.

The spa-like master bathroom features a slipper tub with direct views of the water in addition to the custom-tiled shower. The second and third bathrooms include a shower/tub combination.

The home includes a washer and dryer. DirecTV with HBO and high speed Internet/WiFi are included.

Public beach access is just one block away with a walk of just 200 feet. The location allows you to go from the beach and back to the house with ease, with no packing up for an all-day beach trip.

THE AREA:
This 4br 2 bath unit sits on the top floor of a triplex, suited for families and quiet groups (with two separate additional units on the ground floor). "The Villas" is a small residential Delaware Bay community, 15-20 minutes from both Cape May and Wildwood beaches. The perfect spot for the excitement of Wildwood, the quaintness of Cape May, and the beauty of sunsets on the Delaware Bay.

Although most people head to the beaches for swimming, the small bay beach in front of the house is wonderful for walking, fishing, (small child) wading, and exploring. There are local places to eat, grab ice cream, rent bikes or paddle boards, etc. Or head into the beach towns of Cape May and Wildwood to swim with lifeguards and surf the real waves. 4 Cape May beach tags are available for your use.

INSIDE
Inside, you can hang out and enjoy the view from two large comfy sectionals, a dining table that seats 10, or the breakfast bar with four stools. The kitchen and great room were completely renovated and decorated in 2021.

Big sliding glass doors, screens, and windows everywhere allow you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. At high tide, it looks like you’re on the bow of a ship! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far, but it’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the bay). Lots of birds, tons of horsehoe crabs and gorgeous scenery that changes drastically over the course of the day.

Two bedrooms have comfy queen beds, one bedroom has a new king bed, and the fourth has a twin over full bunk. Every bedroom has a water view. Two are small, one is medium, and the other is larger. Pack light and enjoy the views!

The two full bathrooms are newly renovated as well- one is a traditional tub/shower combo and the other is a small glass surround shower.

Fast WiFi and Apple TV (but no cable TV service provided) with a bonus smaller tv in the bunk room if you want to bring and plug in your gaming system.

OUTDOORS
A few beach toys, umbrellas, and many beach chairs are available for use. Outdoor hose/shower, two large picnic tables, new lounge furniture, outdoor games, and huge Weber outdoor grill in generous side shared yard.

Linens and towels are provided. Both grocery stores and CVS deliver right to the house, and there are many takeout food and delivery options. This is a great location where you can have as much or as little interaction with others as you wish.

If available when booking, there is an additional 1 bedroom apartment downstairs- the patio sits right under the upper deck- and on the beach with gorgeous water views. That apartment typically rents for an additional $270/night, but we rent it for $220 to anyone also renting upstairs at the same time. Great set-up for extended family members to connect while having their own space.

But even if you aren't married to a Dance Mom, this place is great for those who are looking for a place to stay for a beach vacation as well. Its close enough that you can hop in your car and be on the beach in 15-20 minutes but far enough away that you have the peace and quiet at night that you rarely get staying in a hotel or motel. Another bonus was that my son and I had a refuge to retreat to during the hours-long downtime between my daughter's performances. We rode go karts, took a walk along the boardwalk, bought some souvenirs and played the newest VR arcade games. It was good to get some quality time together. Jason was great at responding to our questions and also recommending good local restaurants. He made a stressful week less so and I thank him for that."

That was the only thing that was unenjoyable. Couldnt really enjoy sitting outside. We went and bought additional mosquito repellents, they didn't work all that much. Camping comes with nature and we are ok with that, but I guess being near wetlands it makes it more extreme. Would stay again, in cooler temperatures so we can enjoy sitting outside.Suggestion- maybe spray for mosquitoes and those darn biting flies! "
