Our vacation cottage is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. There is an outdoor shower and large fenced-in yard. There is 1 queen and 2 full size bunk beds. You must provide your own pillowcases, sheets, towels and washcloths. We provide pillows, comforters and blankets. Check in is 4:00. Check out is 11:00. I am unable to accommodate early check-in's during the summer season.

Furniture, beds, wall A/C's, hot water heater and smart TV with Amazon fire stick are updated. Property is on a quiet street in historic Townbank, which is the most desirable part of North Cape May. The end of my block backs up to the Cape May Wildlife Area which makes it much less populated than other streets. There is very little traffic and is extremely quiet. It's a 1 1/2 block walk to the Delaware Bay beach where you will see the most amazing sunsets, be able to walk your dog, fish off the jetty or just relax on the uncrowded beach. It’s a short drive to the wineries, Cape May and Wildwood boardwalk. There are some really great dining spots that fit all budgets in North Cape May if you want to stay local.

No matter how stressed our lives are, as soon as we get out of the car in the driveway and breathe in the air, see the clear sky and don't hear a sound except for birds, our muscles can't help but go "aaahhh." We know you will feel this too. It's the perfect getaway.

The Mermaid Cottage is centrally located to many attractions. We are only a few minutes from Cape May (6 miles) and a short drive to Stone Harbor, Avalon and the Wildwoods. There are many local vineyards, distilleries and breweries including Cape May Brewery, which has a free tour and is only a few minutes away. Bravado Coffee Cafe, ice cream parlors and pizza only a couple of blocks away. Jump on the Cape May-Lewes ferry by foot, bike or by car and spend the day visiting historic Lewes Delaware or nearby Rehoboth Beach. If you're in the mood for glitz and glamour, the Atlantic City casinos are 45 minutes north on the Garden State Parkway.

There is always something to do making the Delaware Bay/Cape May area a great place to visit year-round. Come enjoy all that Cape May County has to offer!

THE COTTAGE
There’s a sun deck and chaise loungers out back and plenty of space to spread out. Grab a morning cup of coffee on the front deck, read a book on the futon or listen to the seagulls fly over on the screened porch. There are also outdoor games to play at the beach or in the back yard like lawn darts, yard pong, football, horseshoes and corn hole to keep you entertained.

The kitchen is fully equipped with full-sized stainless-steel refrigerator and stove. The dining room has seating for 6 and the screened porch also has seating for 6. The living room has a comfortable couch, two recliners, 3 stools at the snack bar, ALEXA, SMART TV with cable and DVD player. Enjoy our assortment of DVD’s (including Barbie in “A Mermaid Tale 1 & 2”) a variety of books, games or just stream one of your favorites.

You will immediately feel welcomed with the open and bright floor plan. The living room has ample windows and skylights which welcomes the morning sun. Lighting is also enhanced with two skylights that brings the late morning sun into the house. Take your shoes off and relax on the comfortable sofa and chairs. Connect your music (i.e. Spotify, Apple) with the stereo sounds of the Sonos speakers. Enjoy the relaxing air with the two Casablanca style ceiling fans in the living room.

The large kitchen is equipped with double door stainless steel refrigerator with bottom freezer along with other modern appliances. The marble counter top and subway tiles just adds to your vacation experience.

Enjoy the afternoon sunlight thru the triple French doors that extends to an oversized deck and a private fenced-in backyard. You will surely notice that the outdoors is just another extension of the living space inside. Relax and enjoy your coffee or wine on the outdoor dining table or maybe the beautiful white Adirondack chairs. The large deck is equipped with a cantilever umbrella to provide shade to the conversation for you and your company. If you prefer a little shade and quiet from the rest of the company, sneak to the seating area on the covered patio at the front of the house. Complete with an overhead ceiling fan, it’s a lovely outdoor location to relax, play games, or read.

Listen to the seagulls in the distance and the faint sound from the horn of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry as it approaches the dock.

When you come back to your vacation home, wash the sand away at the outdoor shower before going inside. Relax with a glass of wine or beer on the Adirondack chairs or even take a nap on the hammock under the maple tree. But don’t nap too long, because you have to walk to the beach later to watch the amazing sunsets or go to Harpoon Harry for an amazing sunset dinner.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT POOL HEATER IS AFFECTED BY UNUSUALLY COLD TEMPS AND HIGH WINDS WHICH COULD CAUSE LOWER WATER TEMPS AT TIMES. With a car you will be able to access close by beaches and other attractions. One of our favorite spots to go see the sunset is Sunset beach which is a quick 20 minute ride to Cape May Island. This is the downstairs unit of a Duplex featuring three bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a queen size bed while two twins occupy the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. There is a single day bed in the foyer. The “Bonus Room” adds extra dining seating and a futon; while this room is not part of the central air, there is a ceiling fan and 12 windows to enjoy the breeze.

Our space has a front porch and a back deck that are just for this unit. The yard is shared with the upstairs unit, however there are many different family areas.

Living room is spacious and relaxing with a 50” flat screen Smart TV.

Studio sleeps 2 MAX. Adults only. Complementary coffee/tea bar. Standard condiments in fridge.. A continental breakfast of sorts is included: yogurt, bagels. This variety differs daily, but surely there will be something you can start your day, The studio is attached to our home and stands within our house, and sits off a side street in back of the house. There is a sign for "guest parking". Owners entrance faces the main road. Yours faces side street. It's possible with windows open you may hear traffic at times which we have no control over. Having a private entrance can ensure you of coming /going any time of day/night without disturbing anyone. Think of it as being a "room" in a BNB, but with more space and privacy. We do not want you to be disappointed upon your arrival. Please be sure you understand the living arrangement before you book.

Window darkening shade for later sleep ins, and a remote control ceiling fan. We offer beach towels with 2 night minimum, we no longer offer beach towels for over-nighters, beach blanket, umbrella, totes, insulated bag coolers, cozies, ice-packs, fishing buckets, 2 yoga mats, etc, are included for all. Whatever we have is yours. Just ask. We did manage to grab a few used beach chairs this year. Not new, but hey, they work. Should they break you will not be charged. Just leave at designated trash area on beach. You need to ask as they are put away, so let us know in advance. We charge a very nominal cleaning fee, so we ask that you follow the rules posted, which is very minimal. Excellent WIFI Great water pressure in outside shower. NO CANDLES. NO SMOKING (inside), NO (smelly, chemical odor) VAPING. Odorless vaping is ok.

We are always updating our listing as we approach findings/ideas. Check back for new features/amenities. The flat/studio is private however, owners share the yard and outside shower. The room was built as a 'mother-in-law addition' to live in year round. Though, for a few nights we think it's bearable for a twosome. Short-term only with a 3 night max. The day bed is a real mattress, as is the trundle. The trundle is not a pop-up. It pulls out but hugs the floor. During the day it acts as a sofa. Each mattress is a single. There is a a ceiling fan. We want to keep our rental prices competitive, therefore please keep windows CLOSED when A/C is on. If we notice A/C on and see windows open, we WILL contact you. We try being eco-friendly. We use 100% white cotton linens and intend to keep furbishing the beds with them when possible. All linens are air (clothesline) dried. You will find a binder loaded with short-cuts and local eateries. A menu/suggestion bin contains info. Check it out! A tower fan is available, but you must ask as it takes up space if you don't need it. However, you are welcome to it.

We would like to welcome you to “Harmony House “in North Cape May, NJ! Read on below to get a configuration of our space.

ROOMS: This is a split-level house with three bedrooms in the upper half and one large bedroom in the lower half. The three bedrooms upstairs all have queen size beds and closets. One room comes equipped with a changing table and a pack and play inside the closet. You are responsible for assembling the pack and play. The fourth bedroom has two single beds in the lower half of the house. You can read more in the description below.

BASEMENT/GAME ROOM: The fourth and largest room in the lower half of the house has its own lock. So, it is a private room with an en suite bathroom. It also includes the game room with foosball table, other board games and TV. It is a smart TV so you can access Netflix, Amazon, etc through your own log in information. The foosball table is versatile 10-in-1 table: Interchangeable tabletop lets you play slide hockey, foosball, billiards, shuffleboard, table tennis, chess, cards, checkers, bowling, and backgammon (Billiards and table tennis are not regulation size). The accessories for the some of the games can be found in the basket on the windowsill next to the table. There are two additional sleeping quarters next to the fireplace in the basement. This room does not have a closet. However we have provided shelf with hangers for your convenience.

STUDY: The basement also includes a study table and chair should there be a need to work remotely.

BATHROOMS: There are two full baths; one on the upper level and another in the lower level/basement. The upper bath has a tub and built-in shower. The lower bath has a stand-up shower and laundry room included. Both bathrooms have toilets. You will also find extra towels (white) and beach towels (blue) on the shelves above the laundry countertop in the lower level bathroom.

LIVING ROOM: Has a couch and two chairs. We also have an ottoman by the side and two poufs for additional seating. There is also reading material and a tv in the living room. It is a smart TV so you can access Netflix, Amazon, etc through your own log in information.

KITCHEN: Our kitchen comes fully stocked with plates, cups, mugs, coffee-maker and a French press. Please enjoy some complimentary coffee, tea or hot chocolate. You will also find cookware and cooking utensils. We have provided child friendly cups and plates as well inside the cabinets. The island comes with two bar stools and there is a breakfast nook right off the kitchen for you to enjoy some morning meals.

DINING ROOM: We have a six-person dining table; four chairs and a bench. For those coming with infants and toddlers, you will find a baby feeding chair with a tray by the corner. For additional seating you may use the breakfast nook adjacent to the dining room. The dining room leads out to the patio.

PATIO: We hope you get the chance to enjoy our patio which leads out to the backyard. There is outdoor seating provided next to the grill. Please refer to the House Manual on instructions to use the grill.

FIRE PIT: Our newly installed fire pit comes with four Adirondack chairs. Additional chairs can be found inside the gazebo.

GAZEBO: Our summer hut includes four beach chairs and an umbrella. Please ensure that they are placed back in the gazebo prior to your departure. There is a $250 fee per item for any missing items.

SIDE ENTRANCE: There is a side entrance to the left of the house which leads straight into the backyard which you will have access to as well. You can enter the house from the dining room through the backyard.

First floor has livingroom, kitchen, full bath, and two bedrooms: master with its own entrance and sitting room, and smaller, cozy bedroom. Upstairs has one bedroom, and full bath with washer/dryer. Open space upstairs also has a daybed for lounging or sleeping, and a desk and chair. Nice, fenced in yard with fire pit, just 1.5 blocks from the bay.

Close to the beautiful bay, less than 2 miles to Cape May and Wildwood Crest beaches. Great for two couples or a small family (no child under 3 yrs.) One adult must be 25 yrs of age to rent. The space
The front of our house is your private rental unit with your own entrance. We live on the premises in the back. The person making the reservation must stay on the property at all time.
There is an enclosed outdoor shower. Beach chairs and umbrella are available for your use.

Parking for one car in the driveway. Street parking is available. Free street parking at the bay beach. Parking meters in Cape May. Self check-in. The key will be in a lock box on the front door. The access code will be sent to you before your arrival date.

Other things to note
A guest book will be available with information on local restaurants, super markets and a map of the area. Walking distance to WAWA, Dunkin Donuts and Mc Donalds. Cape May Winery and Turdo Winery are a 5 minute drive. There are also a few breweries. There is a new playground for kids that also has adult exercise equipment.

It’s all about the experience the here! This rental has a style of its own. Piper’s Bayside Suite is a private master bedroom newly updated into a suite with private bath (tub/shower combo), queen bed, microwave, mini refrigerator, Keurig coffeemaker & TV. Side door access is semi-private. Renters have full access to outside patio area which includes a gazebo, sitting area w/ fireplace & private hot tub plus BBQ grill, outdoor shower, bicycles, beach chairs/towels, off street parking included.

The space
Built is 2015, this rancher is very well appointed, inside and out. Grounds are landscaped with many beneficial plants and flowers to support the many butterflies you will see. The outside patio & gazebo with newly added hot tub are the perfect combo to sit and relax with your favorite adult beverage. Additional amenities included are a bbq grill, propane fireplace, outdoor shower and bicycles to borrow. Guests have the whole side of my home & yard to themselves. Located just blocks from the bay beach & the most amazing sunsets, highly recommend taking the bikes over one evening!

I use contactless check-in. Instructions sent morning of arrival. Guests use side door for access to private bedroom suite. Guests have full access to outside patio and hot tub area. Kitchen, living room and laundry is off-limits unless pre-arranged with host.

During your stay
I live on-site with my friendly 60 lb shepherd mix Bailey however suite is named after my previous dog Piper. You could bump into myself and/or Bailey but it’s rare since I spend much of my time in Cape May City. I work close by and readily available throughout guest stays if needed. I’m happy to keep in touch through messages and/or by speaking in person when I’m home. I look forward to hosting you in my home.

The space
It is a cozy cottage that can accomadate up to four people. You can sit at the tiki bar and have a libation and watch the game on the flat screen tv or sit by the fire pit and roast smores. Play the bongos on the entertainment deck. Walk across the street with the beach chairs provided and watch an amazing sunset or go over during the day to beach comb, read. Kayak or paddle w ur own or call for rentals. We use the beach 3.5 miles down on the same side to swim.

Guest access
You have access to the back yard fire pit, table, grill and outdoor shower. The tenant is to provide their own duraflame logs for the fire pit and at no time use the owners firewood supply. Duraflame logs are available at local stores for purchase. There is a three day rental minimum but if there is a two day availability between tenants, reach out to me for special pricing.

My cottage is quaint, cozy and charming and is located 1 1/2 blocks from the Delaware bay. In Villas, NJ. You won’t want to miss the spectacular sunsets. Off street parking and a cozy deck to enjoy that morning coffee, lunch or dinner. Approx 15 min. drive to Wildwood or Cape May beach/ boardwalk. Welcome to the Cape Bay Cottage!

This quaint cottage boasts a newly decorated interior, featuring one bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom offers a queen-size bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For additional guests, the living room is equipped with a sleeper sofa suitable for one adult or two children.

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi, access to Netflix, and a dedicated workspace.

Feel the gentle bay breeze as you unwind in our outdoor seating area. Here, you'll find a covered patio area, perfect for savoring morning coffee or evening cocktails. The deck box has some beach chairs and outdoor games for you to enjoy.

Just a short stroll away, the bay is only four blocks from your doorstep. Enjoy leisurely walks along the beach, which welcomes furry companions during designated hours. After enjoying the best sunsets, rinse off the sand in our convenient outdoor shower before returning indoors.

Guest access
You will have access to the full cottage, 2 car driveway, and the backyard space. There is also an outdoor shower you can use, along with 2 beach chairs.

Guests will be sent a check-in email 3 days prior to their arrival with the door lock code and all other check-in information.

The shed is off limits, as well as the owner's cabinet in the kitchen.

Other things to note
Please note that our beach is Bayside and not oceanside. The bay is best for walking, fishing, collecting shells, or watching the sunset. It's shallow water, so great for little ones. And often have great tide pools!

While we are pet friendly, there is NO fence around our property. When outdoors, please have your pets leashed at all times and make sure to pick up after them. Please bag and knot waste bags and dispose in outdoor garbage can. Please bring your own pet beds and crates. Sorry, we do not allow cats as the owner is allergic. We allow up to 2 pets and charge a $50 per pet fee.

We are kid friendly, but the furniture is not anchored to the wall, and house is not child proofed. Please be mindful of small children as there's breakable items, and hazardous cleaning products in the house.

We provide fresh bed linens, 2 bath towels, washcloth, and a light quilt.

Starter pack of essentials are provided including 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 paper towel roll, and Keurig coffee pods. Please plan accordingly and purchase additional items at any local store depending on length of stay.

Bring your own Shower Toiletries & Beach Towels.

Guests of record must be 25+ and stay at the house each night.

No smoking/vaping in the house. We are smoke-free residence. $250 smoking fee per day of rental if smoking occurs.
