This is a unique opportunity to experience the Laurel Mountains with the privacy of your own rental home. You will find this home to be a beautiful rental at an exceptionally reasonable rate.

The home has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a full bed. and a single bed. The second is a loft that has 3 twin beds. This bedroom overlooks the great room accessible by a pull down ladder.

The great room is very large with cathedral ceilings and plenty of space for the guests to spread out. There are many skylights and windows to let in the natural light and the beautiful wooded scenery. There is a stone fireplace in the great room and a wood burning stove. All of the firewood is included. There is a full kitchen including all major appliances, cooking utensils, and a dining table.

There are one and a half bathrooms. The master bath has a shower with unlimited hot water. The second is a powder room.

Even though you will feel like you are in the middle of the woods in a peaceful setting, if you forget anything a gas station/convenience store is only a 2 minute drive away and a grocery store is only a 20 minute drive away. Once you settle in, you will enjoy a cozy, traditional cabin in the woods with spacious front deck, outdoor combo bonfire/grill (Charcoal or wood for cooking or simply relaxing. One bundle of wood is provided to start your vacation, but there are places nearby to purchase charcoal or more wood.), gas fireplace, and indoor treehouse for kids ideally ages 6 - 12.

Kids love climbing the stairs next to the tree mural because it feels like they are climbing into an indoor treehouse with repurposed wood accents on the walls. As you walk in, you will see a mini window above the kitchen area, so adults in the kitchen or living room downstairs can hear the kiddos playing upstairs or opt to close the window so the kids can sleep while parents still hang out downstairs. The creates a fun, spacious cabin for families.

Excellent WiFi service will help you stay connected to friends, family, and work (Gasp! Only if necessary...you should be relaxing!) or allow you to finally binge watch that series you always wanted to see.

The location off of 31 makes it easily accessible year round, but far enough off the road to be peacefully tucked in the woods. A limit of 3 cars per cabin has to be maintained because there is no overflow parking available nearby (AWD or 4WD vehicles during the winter months of snow are required for ease of access). Visitors should be accounted for in your reservation.

Stonewood Lodge is rented as a vacation home...not a party house. Any group looking for a rental home to engage in heavy drinking that could lead to drunken, destructive or dangerous behavior is asked to please rent a different home. Thank you.

GROUPS OF SINGLES OR COUPLES WITH NO MINOR CHILDREN MUST BE AT LEAST 50 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

Our occupancy limit at the Lodge is a total of 12 guests. We keep a strict occupancy limit of 12 guests to adhere to national fire safety codes.

Also, we strictly disallow inviting additional day or overnight visitors to the home beyond the agreed upon group size as indicated at the time the reservation is made.

We do not permit "In Garage" parking. We use the garage for storage of property maintenance equipment that we may need to access in a weather emergency.

All holiday weekends require a minimum stay of 3 nights. The exceptions are New Years and Christmas. Both New Years and Christmas require a minimum stay of 5 nights. The dates set aside for a New Years reservation are December 26 to January 2.
A Christmas reservation must depart no later then December 26.
To reserve both Christmas and New Years together requires a minimum stay of 10 nights between December 20 to January 3.

As part of our Rental Agreement we require all adult guests to sign a Liability Waiver...the same type you sign at a chain motel, doctor/dentist office or a bike/canoe rental. To validate the Liability Waiver in Pennsylvania, identity authentication is required. Each adult guest must provide a legible copy of a current, state issued, Driver's License photo ID that includes your name, address, DOB and issue/expiration date. ALL OTHER INFORMATION ON THE ID MAY BE CROSSED OUT.

All required documents must be received by the home owners within 14 days after making a reservation. You will be contacted by the owners within 24 hours after making a reservation with information and directions concerning the Rental Agreement and Liability Waivers.

The owners live part time in another stone house on a next door property and we will be there for the duration of your stay. So, we'll be able to meet you upon arrival with the keys and a quick tour of the Lodge.
On your day of arrival we would appreciate if you could call or write to give an ETA so one of us can meet you around that time.
Because we will be nearby and accessible, we welcome a chance to be helpful in any way we can. It is our policy to respect and safeguard the privacy of our guests, but please feel free to call us or knock on our door if you have any questions or needs. - "We spent two nights hiking and enjoying the area. Nice condo all on one floor. Steps to get to front door. Small kitchen but had all we needed. Keurig one cup coffee maker. Two full baths. No air conditioning but they have ceiling fans. Nice back deck overlooking the trees. Golf course is nice. Grass range. Walking distance to the large swimming pool. Lots of young families. They had a local full traditional orchestral band playing a concert on Saturday. Place was very clean and comfortable."

Laurel Highlands Cabin with 1 Queen Bed, 1 Twin Bed, 1 Futon that can sleep 3. 1 Full Bathroom, Living Room Has electric fireplace, wifi, Cable TV, Kitchen has most necessities, Microwave, Nice backyard with wrap around porch. Great for outdoor entertainment with firepit. Across from Kooser Lake State Park, 2 miles to Hidden Valley Resort, 12 Miles to Seven Springs Resort, 26 miles to Laurel Mtn Ski Area. There is a bunch of other pictures online of my unit if you want to see other just use the address in a search engine. I will be adding more soon.

- "Great location! Only thing I’d say is expect an incomplete kitchen" - "Convenient to the slopes, but the place had a bad leak in the roof near the entrance. The bathroom was dated and not very clean, sink was clogged. Overhead light was out in the kitchen, and couldn't get the key to work in the front door. Looked like the owner was storing food in the freezer... never seen that before. "

Guest access
Parking is located next to the apartment and is shared with the two other apartments in the area. We are not able to guarantee on site parking for more than two cars per apartment. There is more parking available about half a block away from the property.
In snow weather, I have hired a private service to plow and shovel. This does not mean that a path will be cleared when you need it to be clear. You may need to shovel yourself in or out.
We do not offer Electric Vehicle charging at this time.
You will enter through a main door, key required, and then through the first floor apartment door, key required. (Upstairs is a separate private living space.)

Other things to note
The stream is real. This is not a source of fresh drinking water. Kooser Run is a state stocked trout stream, a fishing license is required. During heavy rains and snow melt season the current should be taken seriously. Kooser Run is also not a garbage disposal. Enjoy the sights and sounds, but we do not recommend swimming.

The perfect getaway in the perfect place! Located at the top of Hidden Valley Resort, this cozy condo has it all for all 4 seasons. In the winter, family fun includes ski -in / out with a short walk, while in the summer, spring & fall you have access to two pools, two playgrounds, tennis and pickle-ball courts. All of this is conveniently located with-in walking distance. A FREE shuttle running to and from Hidden Valley Resort is provided. Seven Springs Mountain Resort is only 6.5 miles away!

The space
From the moment you walk in the door, a sense of calm and serenity is captured both inside and outside of this two bedroom with a loft condo that comfortably sleeps eight people. There's plenty of room for you and your friends to have a weekend getaway or bring the family for sunshine and fun in the summer.

Your welcome to home-away-from home starts with a cascading two-story ceiling in the living room where you can cozy up at night with a glass of wine by the fireplace. Be ready in the morning to snuggle up in a blanket and read with a hot cup of coffee in the butterfly chairs before heading out to the slopes or the pool. There is a large screen streaming TV mounted above the vaulted-ceiling fireplace to catch the big game or a favorite movie. With a cozy workstation situated behind the couch, you won't have to miss a minute of fun while working on your laptop. The sofa is a full-sized pull out sleeper for two.

For the aspiring chef, the open-concept kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher, full-sized fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and all the necessary cooking basics. The large counter space is a great place to put out a charcuterie board after the slopes or lay out a breakfast buffet. Adjacent to the family room, this is a great space to entertain and be a part of all the fun.

Take in the fresh mountain air from the private balcony with an easy view of the playground to watch your kids play.

Bedroom one is located on the main level and has a queen bed with fresh linens provided. Feel free to hang up your clothes in the closet with the provided hangers. If they are watching the game and you would like to watch a movie, there is another streaming TV to watch from the comfortable bed.

Bedroom two is on the upper level just through the loft and features a large king-sized bed with fresh linens provided. There is plenty of storage in the dresser and luggage rack. Imagine laying in bed at night, watching a movie on the streaming TV or a quiet snowfall on the skylights above. Cozy up with a good book in the quaint reading nook and a cup of coffee before starting your day with the group.

The upstairs loft (labeled as Bedroom 3) has a futon that opens into a full bed with fresh linens provided. Whether you play in this space or go downstairs, be sure to check out the variety of board games in this room.

There is one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo with soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Under the vanity you will find a hairdryer and variety of cleaning products. Professionally laundered bath towels and washcloths are provided. This bathroom is a full bath split in to two separate spaces. One space with a toilet and a sink. The other space with a shower and a sink.

Need a quieter space to work? There is a dedicated workstation located just off of the family room by a large window.

All of this is just a couple minutes' walk in the summer, spring & fall from two playgrounds, two pools, tennis and pickle-ball courts. Plenty of golf courses in the area along with lots of state parks for hiking! The pools are outdoor and heated. The outdoor pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

In the winter strap on the snow gear and take a quick 5 min walk to the top of the ski slopes at Hidden Valley Resort. There is a large area dedicated for additional storage in the theme room to hang the gear up to dry.

There is a private laundry area with a full-sized washer and dryer available for us with detergent provided!

When you enter the home there are roughly 12 steps to get to the main living area.

Guest access
You will have unlimited access to the entire condo, except for the owners closet. You will also have access to the community swimming pool between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Hidden Valley resort is a paid access resort! FREE shuttle running to and from the resort during ski season.

Guests who book must agree to all pool / HOA rules and regulations.

You will enter through the door at the back of the house(key required). That door is the only way to enter creekside. The covered door goes to the other two apartments.

Other things to note
The stream is real. This is not a source of fresh drinking water. Kooser Run is a state stocked trout stream, a fishing license is required. During heavy rains and snow melt season the current should be taken seriously. Kooser Run is also not a garbage disposal. Enjoy the sights and sounds, but we do not recommend swimming.

There are quite a few trails within walking distance, as well as the Hidden Valley Golf Course. The pool, basketball courts, and tennis courts are only a 2 minute walk from our front door!

The Sweetheart Cabin is tucked away off Route 31 so year-round access is possible even in the snowy months.

So much to do in our area like attending the Flight

Confirmed bookings will have complimentary access to free parking, firewood, pool and court access. You can also enjoy the state park hiking trails located right by the resort.

I have carefully selected the coziest decor to make you feel right at home!

Please note this home, like many on the mountain, does not have air conditioning, as it generally stays pretty cool. There are fans, large windows, and the pool is available to help you cool down on hot days!

The full kitchen and spacious dining room give you more than enough room to cook or enjoy a delicious takeout meal. Relax by the indoor wood-burning fireplace and catch a flick (or the big game) on the 60 inch Smart TV in the sizable living room, complete with a sofa bed, loveseat and leather sectional. A half bath is also located on the first floor for convenience.

Once you head up the stairs you will find a huge master suite with a king-sized bed, covered by a down comforter to keep you warm throughout the night. The master bathroom wouldn't be complete without the heat lamp to keep you nice and toasty after a relaxing shower! There is also a futon that converts to a queen sized mattress for two extra guests.

Down the hall on the second floor are two bedrooms, each containing two twin beds and a dresser. These are conveniently located across from the second full bath with a shower and tub. Finally, a laundry closet is located at the end of the hall for your convenience.

What's not to love? Come stay a while and enjoy this mountain oasis!

- There’s free parking for the tenants of the property right out front of the unit!

The circular driveway provides ample parking. Walk in on the main floor that opens to the family room, kitchen, dining combo with it's massive stone fireplace. There is a full bath, master bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with two twins toward the back of the upper level.

The lower level, contains a giant rec room with a pool table/ping pong table combo. A full bath, and two additional bedrooms which both have the same set up of 2 bunk beds, with a full size bed on the bottom and twin on top, providing sleeping space for 6 guests in each lower level room. With the twelve sleeping spaces downstairs and 4 upstairs, this warm cabin can comfortably sleep a group of 12

The space
We have customized our home to take advantage of the four seasons living offered at Hidden Valley Resort. The property is now offered for long-term rentals only.

The most popular time to visit is the winter, where the townhome is < 5 min drive from the slopes and we are on the complimentary shuttle route to the Hidden Valley slopes. Skiers have their pick of either Hidden Valley or neighboring Seven Springs resorts, as Seven Springs is ~20 min drive away. A new wood burning fireplace was just installed to make the house warm for after your day on the slopes.

In the Spring through Fall, we love watching golf off the 17th green and the “tree-house” atmosphere on the expanded back deck. It is especially beautiful in the Fall when the leaves change.

Our property is surrounded by Roaring Run Nature Area and two Pennsylvania State Parks - Kooser and our favorite, Laurel Hill. Local attractions within a 35 minutes drive include “Fallingwater” by Frank Lloyd Wright and Ohiopyle for white water rafting and hiking.

The perfect getaway retreat for any season. We hope you enjoy it as our family has!

Our place sleeps six with a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom, two twin beds in the third bedroom and one full size folding crib as well, but there is room for more! We have one queen air mattress, two twin size air mattresses for guests to use as well. We hope that you can enjoy our place with your whole family!

The Evergreen Lodge is conveniently located walking distance to several hiking trails, and is a short drive to the Hidden Valley golf course and community pool.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. We offer a coffee bar that includes k-cups, tea, coffee creamers, and sugar. Start your day with a nice hot cup of coffee while listening to the sounds of spring and summer on the deck.

The deck is newly refinished and includes a dining table with umbrella, brand new grill, and lounge chairs. The perfect spot to unwind after a day on the links or at the pool.

This home does not have AC. Homes in this area rarely have AC due to the drastic temperature changes. There can be a 20-40 degree difference between daytime and night time temperatures. Please take note and plan accordingly!

This is a unique opportunity to experience the Laurel Mountains with the privacy of your own rental home. You will find this home to be a beautiful rental at an exceptionally reasonable rate.

The home has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is very large with two queen beds and a single bed. The second is a loft that has one king bed or if you prefer 3 single bed and overlooks the great room. Kids especially love this bedroom!!!

The great room is very large with cathedral ceilings and plenty of space for the guests to spread out. There are many skylights and windows to let in the natural light and the beautiful wooded scenery. There is a stone fireplace in the great room and a wood burning stove. All of the firewood is included. There is a full kitchen including all major appliances and cooking utensils. It has a dining room table with seating for eight.

There are one and a half bathrooms. The master bath has a shower with unlimited hot water, so many guests can shower without running out. The second is a powder room.

The Home is located within walking distance to Koosier lake, which has a swimming area and fishing area. Both Hidden Valley and Seven Springs resorts are a very short drive away.

Book our 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse at the top of the mountain at Hidden Valley Ski/Golf Resort. Hidden Valley is a family resort allowing for a peaceful and relaxing family getaway. If it is available, this unit is also available for a seasonal or 12 month lease with rates to negotiated with owner separately.

The space
It is a great mountain getaway in all seasons. The unit is not ski in/ski out, however, it has easy access to the top of the lifts or shuttle buses run regularly to take you to the lodge. Just call for bus pick up right at the parking lot out front. There is also on-site snow tubing, restaurants and bar at the ski lodge(seasonal).

There is an 18 hole golf course, outdoor tennis courts, Trillium spa(during the winter season only by appointment only), and outdoor pools(summer), fishing lake and plenty of trails. The South Ridge outdoor community pool is easy walking distance from the unit and is available for summer use for no fee.
The house offers 3 bedrooms with beds (King, Double, Bunk Bed with trundle, and a fold down sofa futon) for a maximum of 8. There is also a comfortable sofa on the first floor (if you need a 9th place to sleep) with plenty of floor space for extra bodies and sleeping bags. There are 2 ½ baths. Kitchen, family room and living room are combined into one wide open space for a fun family vacation. There are TVs in every room. In the Winter season only, the TV service has access to expanded cable channel service, internet and CD players with all TVs. Otherwise, bring your own video gaming or enjoy family fun playing games. Stoke up the fire and enjoy a weekend of skiing, playing games with family and friends and relaxing this winter. Seasonal and Long Term Tenants would be responsible for all utilities, cable, internet and condo fees.

Home away from home! 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths with a sofa bed and twin over full bunk bed in the basement. Master bedroom recently upgraded with a Tempurpedic adjustable bed. Foosball and plenty of games available for your indoor fun. Full size washer and dryer included. A/C units in both bedrooms and main living area. Main living area A/C new for 2022! Hot tub added this year as well! Ring cameras on front door and back. Fully updated kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances.

The space
Hidden Valley Resort is a Four Season resort offering winter skiing, tubing, snowboarding and spring golfing, hiking, fishing and swimming. This lovely resort is part of a larger park system, which includes Seven Springs Resort and Laurel Mountain, home to the steepest trail on the entire East Coast. Nearby Laurel Highlands State Park (7 miles) is a popular golfing, camping and hiking destination. In the winter, Hidden Valley enjoys on average over 125 inches of natural snow as well as man made snow from their state of the art snow making system.

The space

Guests can feel free to use the condo and what's inside along with exterior amenities and services. Our townhome has cable television available on both T.V.s as well WiFi. Please note that we use this home regularly and have some of our personal belongings stored in the three closets in the basement. Our home is your home and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole home and all of the amenities within the resort which includes pool, spa, golf course, restaurants, etc. Special passes or appointment may be needed prior to arrival.
Interaction with guests
Make yourself at home and enjoy a relaxing time with family and or friends. Whether it is sitting out on the deck and enjoying the view of the slopes or watching a roaring fire inside, it is our hope you will come to find this your home away from home as well. As out of state owners from Leonardtown, MD, we are not available in person, but can be contacted by phone, email or text at anytime. We communicate with all guests before and after their stay. If you need something or have any questions during your stay feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. We have hired a nearby property manager that inspects the unit after each stay and makes sure it is cleaned, operating properly and ready for the next guest. If you have any issues or find something concerning please contact us directly.
Other things to note
Guests are responsible to bring coffee for Keurig 2.0 or the regular coffee pot (filters provided) and any toiletry supplies as well as any food goods and additional sundries they will need. Starter dish soap, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner is available.
Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided.
Guest should make sure they run the dishwasher prior to departure so that housekeeping can ensure the home is ready for the next guest.

No smoking allowed inside.

Our guests have full access to the entire condo with the exception of the basements 3 closets which we use to store our personal belongings and maintenance supplies.
