The Neighborhood:
We love Main Street Manayunk for its local shops and restaurants -- Pilgrim Roaster and Volo Coffee are two of our favorite places to grab a cup on the go and the best margaritas can be found at Taqueria Feliz at happy hour! Stroll the streets on Thursdays in the summer for local events, movie nights and more.

Please note: Parking is extremely limited and on a first come-first serve basis in the neighborhood. There is free, unlimited street parking on a few of the surrounding streets but this is subject to change as the city increases parking restrictions during certain hours. The nearest paid parking lot is located at 4000 Main Street and is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We suggest unloading all belonging before parking in the lot as there is an uphill walk back to the apartment. If you do find a parking spot, we suggest leaving the car parked and walking or using ride-share.

Getting Around:
🚗 Wissahickon Train Station is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The train takes you to Center City in about 20 minutes. You can purchase train tickets on-board (cash only) for $6. There are no options to buy tickets at the station but once you arrive in Center City (Jefferson Station, Suburban Station, 30th Street Station) there are ticket counters.

🚗Free street parking is available on Hermit St. and all surrounding cross streets. Parking after 6pm can be difficult so if you find a spot and plan to go out, we recommend walking or taking the train or car service.

The apartment is well appointed with a full kitchen, two queen bedrooms, a living room with Smart TV, a full bathroom on the main level and half bath on the upper floor. We are located just a short walk to Main Street, where you'll find a plethora of locally owned shops and restaurants.

The Space:
IMPORTANT: You must be able to climb several set of stairs. Guests with mobility challenges should consider before booking. As you reach the top of the stairs inside the apartment, you'll find the kitchen to the left with a table that seats 4 and a door leading outside to the spacious, southwestern facing deck. To the right, you'll enter the living room with a 55 inch Roku smart TV (Netflix provided). You will be able to log into any of your own channel subscriptions via apps on the TV. Continue down the hallway, and to the left you'll find a cozy queen bedroom with a very comfortable 12 inch Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress. To the right at the end of the hall, is the full bathroom. Our standing shower has great water pressure and a nice, clean glass shower door for an open and airy (yet private) shower experience.

Continue upstairs, where you'll find the second queen bedroom -- a unique space with a skylight, sloped ceilings, exposed stonework, a 55 inch Roku smart TV and en-suite powder room with a combination washer/dryer unit. Please be cautious as there is a small step down to the bed.

Please note, this is a 3-unit building. Reasonable, everyday noises are expected outside of quiet hours.

Guest Access:
When you open the front door, you will enter a common stairway. The door to the apartment is up the stairs on the second floor. Upon entry, there is another set of stairs and the apartment is located on the third and fourth floors of the building. Enjoy full access to our entire apartment. Parking is included. All doors are accessible with keypad smart locks.

The Neighborhood:
Lauded as one of the most desirable and safest places to live in Philadelphia, Manayunk is full of small town charm with all the conveniences of the big city. Restaurants and locally owned businesses line Main Street which is just a short walk from our apartment. We are located in a quiet residential area of Manayunk and we expect our guests to be respectful of our neighbors and treat our home like their own.

Getting Around:
Want to explore Center City, Philadelphia? The train station is a short walk from the apartment and will take you to Center City in under 20 minutes. Uber/Lyft is also readily available. If you are feeling adventurous, rent a bike from Human Zoom on Main Street and ride up Kelly Drive along the Schuylkill River toward the city for a trip you will never forget.

It was important that we have convenient access to local trains into center city. This location was the perfect choice--a ten minute walk to the Manayunk SEPTA train station. So, we were able to leave our car parked for two days at the property and get around with all forms of public transportation using the SEPTA Key-Card system with "neighborhood day pass" tickets. Our host was great! When we had questions, the response was complete and timely. The location is convenient by car to an Acme supermarket on Ridge Avenue in Roxborough, no more than 10 minutes away. We also found great restaurants on Main Street, convenient by foot. We were all impressed by the cleanliness of the apartment and the furnishings. We all enjoyed light dinners on the deck overlooking Manayunk. We would most definitely book this apartment again."

Wissahickon Train Station is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The train takes you to Center City in about 20 minutes. You can purchase train tickets on-board (cash only) for $6. There are no options to buy tickets at the station but once you arrive in Center City (Jefferson Station, Suburban Station, 30th Street Station) there are ticket counters.

Free street parking is available on Hermit St. and all surrounding cross streets. Parking after 6pm can be difficult so if you find a spot and plan to go out, we recommend walking or taking the train or car service.

The city features the Manayunk Arts Festival every Summer so be sure to circle your calendar for a weekend of great food and drink, local musicians and good vibes!

*We have an actively recording video Doorbell at the front door which records video and audio. The Nest system has its microphones disabled and they hear and record nothing. We use Minut to monitor noise levels, crowd detection and smoke detection. They are located in the living room and in the entry way leading to the roof deck.

Just know that the queen sized bed in the bedroom takes up most of the space in the room- better suited to a solo traveler than a couple. They told us that it couldn't have come from their property and had to have come from outside, though as dog owners know, that's ridiculous.. We reached out right before the trip to verify that the listing offered a washing machine, but not a dryer too. That was a mistake on the listing as there were neither. We were visiting for a wedding, and we couldn't find the iron and ironing board. We reached out and they told us that there was a steamer in either the bedroom or bathroom closet. The property didn't have a closet in either room. We ended up having to go purchase one in an emergency, which they acknowledged they would reimburse if we sent them the cost. On the last day we requested a late check out and they billed us for it instead of taking it out of what they owed us for the steamer.. The owners/management group clearly had no idea what was actually in their house, whether it was the amenities they listed (and the only few that we actually cared about and looked for) or the fact that they didn't even know the layout of the property (they told us to look in multiple closets that didn't even exist), but knew for sure there were no fleas without checking. They position themselves as a "small family business" but that is far from the experience. But most importantly, fleas."

Our home is located on a dead end street, there is minimal traffic and parking is always available. In the rare event that it is not available when you get back late at night, there is a free parking lot a few houses away.

Pets are not allowed. No smoking. No party. No shoes in house--$250 penalty if rules are violated.

If you have any issue upon checking in, please contact us we will issue a full refund given that you leave our home immediately.

The Neighborhood:
Only 20 minutes from Center City, Manayunk offers the best of both big city life and small town charm. You are only steps from Main Street where you can dine, shop and enjoy the nightlife. Our favorite coffee shop Volo Coffeehouse is just across the street and Tacqueria Feliz, our go-to happy hour spot, is just a 5 minute walk.

Getting Around:
Walking is the easiest way to get around but the train to center city is 5 minutes from our apartment. You can be in the city in about 20 minutes. Uber/Lyft is also a great option for late night outings and if you have a car, you can take advantage of our parking spot for a minimal daily rate. Parking is very hard to find in Manayunk.

IMPORTANT: You must be able to climb several set of stairs. Guests with mobility challenges should consider before booking. As you reach the top of the stairs inside the apartment, you'll find the kitchen to the left with a table that seats 4 and a door leading outside to the spacious, southwestern facing deck. To the right, you'll enter the living room with a 55 inch Roku smart TV (Netflix provided). You will be able to log into any of your own channel subscriptions via apps on the TV. Continue down the hallway, and to the left you'll find a cozy queen bedroom with a very comfortable 12 inch Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress. To the right at the end of the hall, is the full bathroom. Our standing shower has great water pressure and a nice, clean glass shower door for an open and airy (yet private) shower experience.

Continue upstairs, where you'll find the second queen bedroom -- a unique space with a skylight, sloped ceilings, exposed stonework, a 55 inch Roku smart TV and en-suite powder room with a combination washer/dryer unit. Please be cautious as there is a small step down to the bed.

Please note, this is a 3-unit building. Reasonable, everyday noises are expected outside of quiet hours.

Guest Access:
When you open the front door, you will enter a common stairway. The door to the apartment is up the stairs on the second floor. Upon entry, there is another set of stairs and the apartment is located on the third and fourth floors of the building. Enjoy full access to our entire apartment. Parking is included. All doors are accessible with keypad smart locks.

If you are feeling adventurous, rent a bike from Human Zoom on Main Street and ride up Kelly Drive along the Schuylkill River toward the city for a trip you will never forget.

Our corner property with 1 car driveway in rear is first come first served for two units. We ask all guest to street park when feasible to accommodate any late arrivals.

We cannot allow two vehicles to park in the driveway, in addition, please do not park in the grass.

Pulling up on the sidewalk to unload is acceptable but don't leave the vehicle there longer than an hour or it will be ticketed.

**Michell street is free parking.

**Martin street 1 block off “towards” Ridge Ave, is now 2-hour parking or permit only (Signs are posted).

**Martin towards Pechin street and beyond is free parking.

After 6PM parking begins to get more difficult, we recommend driving up one block to Lyceum ave, it's a wide two way road that usually has openings.

**Please be cognizant of parking regulation, closer to Ridge ave, will require paid meter parking.

Payment for those can be done at a pay-by-plate kiosks or through the widely popular mobile payment app, meterUP.

Officers scan license plates to verify if a vehicle fed the meter. If a vehicle is verified as paid, no ticket will be issued.

TIP: When making meter payments, ensure you correctly enter the license plate number and select the correct parking zone.

The space
This unique private guest suite is in one of the quietest, safe, and green residential neighbourhoods in Philadelphia. 35-minute drive to Center City Philadelphia and a 10-minute drive to Manayunk with restaurants & bars, with a bus station nearby. Also, for those interested in hiking and biking along the trails, the Wissahickon Valley Park is less than 5 minutes away.

This suite is completely private with a separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room with plenty of street parking space. We live upstairs in case you have any requests.

No smoking or vaping allowed within the premises, backyard or driveway. If odor is detected when guests check out, Airbnb will be notified and proper compensation will be requested to get rid of the odor.

Per the City of Philadelphia's local ordinances, our unit is not suitable to host more than two guests for fire safety reasons. If we find out that there are more than two guests staying in the unit and they were not disclosed, we will incur a $50 penalty for every night and for every guest beyond the two-guest limit. We will keep the right to use the backyard, so no use of the backyard is permitted for the guests. We have external cameras facing the driveway and backyard, so please don't try to sneak in extra guests or use the backyard.

The guest suite does not have a separate thermostat. We typically keep the temperature of the home at 72 degrees Fahrenheit, but as the guest suite is in the basement, it tends to be a little colder than the rest of the house. A fan and space heater are provided for guest use if the temperature isn't comfortable enough, however, we are more than happy to adjust the temperature if the guest is uncomfortable.

Guests can request an earlier/later check-in/out time for $10 per hour beyond the original check-in/out time "IF" we can accommodate it. We cannot guarantee earlier/later check-in/out time for all requests and can only be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

In the event of an emergency, the owner maintains the right to enter the mudroom and/or unit. This is a shared suite in our home with access to the garage, hot water heater, and central AC/heater for the house. If, for any reason, the host needs to enter the unit, they will contact the guest in advance and let them know.

Unfortunately, This suite is not ADA accessible and not wheelchair friendly.

This beautiful renovated apartment is in a lovely location in Roxborough-Manayunk section of Philadelphia. It is huge! 15+foot ceilings and open floorplan allow for the most comfortable space. Natural light pours in all day through the oversized windows. A king size bed awaits on the main bedroom and a queen bed is at the opposite end of the 1400 sq ft loft space to provide privacy.

The space
Conveniently located to train and bus and major highways, you will be able to access all points of the city within minutes. Manayunk boosts a lively Main street with a variety of dining and shopping. The loft apartment is nestled into the hills of Roxborough/Manayunk and is on a quiet street. Parking is extremely easy during the day but becomes tighter at night, there is nearly always a spot within the block.
Please be aware that this is a loft space in a converted mill building. There are quirky details that are inherent to industrial spaces. while I have tried to make it as close to a standard home not everything it possible.

Guest access
You have the entire place to yourself! A key box is located outside and I try to give you as much privacy as needed. I live and work in the building so I am usually a message away to help with any problems that could arise, or if you just want to say HI and hear a little about the building and its history.

**Martin towards Pechin street and beyond is free parking.

After 6PM parking begins to get more difficult, we recommend driving up one block to Lyceum ave, it's a wide two way road that usually has openings.

**Please be cognizant of parking regulation, closer to Ridge ave, will require paid meter parking.

Payment for those can be done at a pay-by-plate kiosks or through the widely popular mobile payment app, meterUP.

Welcome to our 2 bedroom, 1 bath apt in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philly! We are conveniently located within walking distance to Main Street. Short drive to all things Center City Philadelphia!

The space
Brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, open shelf concept with beautiful Spanish tile flooring, Samsung front loader washer/dryer conveniently located in the kitchen.
We have a dining table located in the kitchen with 4 chairs, if needed we ask you pull the table out to accommodate more dining space and use 2 stools we have.

Brand new bathroom with spacious shower, Spanish tile shower walls, natural stone shower floor. Lots of natural lighting and Spanish tile flooring.

Living room has original hardwood floors, stained glass windows we had restored, tons of natural lighting and open space concept into the kitchen.
We have a couch with a chaise that pulls out to a full size sleeper. A blanket, sheets and pillows are stored in the chaise, you simply pull it up and open. To set up the sleeper you pull it out and it will slide out. We also have a love seat and a Smart TV you can use your own streaming services (Netflix, Hulu). There are board games and card games on the TV stand.

The front bedroom on the 3rd floor has a queen sized mattress and a futon sofa that is a full size. The back of the sofa lays down. Linens and pillows for the futon are in the closet.

The back bedroom on the 3rd floor has a queen sized mattress and a desk to use as a vanity or work space.

Third floor hallway has a reading nook.

The front porch has 2 comfy seats and a bistro set for 4. This space is designated for Unit 2 as Unit 1 has a backyard space, but you will see guests coming and going from Unit 1 as well as our trash cans are on the landing below the porch.

The home is over 100 years old, a rowhome and a duplex. You will hear neighbors, guests on the first floor and water pipes. We do not recommend this unit for noise sensitive.

Outside has steep/narrow stairs. There are also 2 flights of stairs inside. Not recommended for guests with mobility issues or not OK with lots of stairs.

No shoes are to be worn inside, we ask guest to take shoes off in the entry of unit 2, we ask you bring slippers or socks to wear around the unit. This not only helps minimize noise for Unit 1 but also keeps our home cleaner.

No smoking of any kind, no drugs of any kind, no pets, no parties! Fines will be applied!

✨Indulge in the modern comforts of this newly refreshed 3rd & 4th floor unit with views for days! Enjoy your morning coffee on the sun drenched deck overlooking Manayunk with views of Center City in the distance. The apartment is well appointed with a full kitchen, two queen bedrooms, a living room with Smart TV, a full bathroom on the main level and half bath on the upper floor. We are located just a short walk to Main Street, where you'll find a plethora of locally owned shops and restaurants.

The space
🪜 IMPORTANT: You must be able to climb several sets of stairs. Guests with mobility challenges should consider before booking.

🍽️ As you reach the top of the stairs inside the apartment, you'll find the kitchen to the left with a table that seats 4 and a door leading outside to the spacious, southwestern-facing deck.

🛋️ To the right, you'll enter the living room with a 55-inch Roku smart TV (Netflix provided). You will be able to log into any of your own channel subscriptions via apps on the TV.

🚶‍♂️ Continue down the hallway, and to the left you'll find a cozy queen bedroom with a very comfortable 12-inch Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress. To the right at the end of the hall is the full bathroom. Our standing shower has great water pressure and a nice, clean glass shower door for an open and airy (yet private) shower experience.

⬆️ Continue upstairs, where you'll find the second queen bedroom —a unique space with a skylight, sloped ceilings, exposed stonework, a 55-inch Roku smart TV, and an en-suite powder room with a combination washer/dryer unit. Please be cautious as there is a small step down to the bed.

🏠 Please note, this is a 3-unit building. Reasonable, everyday noises are expected outside of quiet hours.

Guest access
When you open the front door, you will enter a common stairway. The door to the apartment is up the stairs on the second floor. Upon entry, there is another set of stairs and the apartment is located on the third and fourth floors of the building. Enjoy full access to our entire apartment. Parking is included. All doors are accessible with keypad smart locks.

Nestled in Manayunk Roxborough, you'll experience the best of urban living with small town charm. Public transportation is only steps away, making it easy to explore Center City. Street parking is also easy to find, which is a rarity in this neighborhood.

The space
This listing features two guestrooms and a private bathroom, which are all conveniently located on the same level (second floor). Your private bathroom comes fully stocked with towels and toiletries for your stay.

The first bedroom features with a cozy queen bed with a memory foam mattress, two nightstands with lamps for easy bedtime reading, blackout curtains, Additionally, there is a closet and bookcase for personal storage and a foldout chair and desk for a small workstation.

The second bedroom is snug and features a hybrid spring memory foam queen mattress. There is a desk and chair for a small work station, two nightstands with lamps, and a closet for additional storage. Due to the compact size of this room, this space may not be suitable for people larger in size. *Please note: this room does not come with an additional A/C unit or blackout shades.

Both rooms include Roku TVs with access to Xfinity, Netflix, Prime Video, Peacock, and HBO Max.

Guest access
In addition to the two private guest rooms and bathroom, all guests will have access to the main floor. The main floor is an open concept shared space that includes the kitchen, dining area, powder room, living room and outdoor patio. Common spaces are not to be used after 11pm.

Our kitchen is actively used on a daily basis, so please restrict kitchen use to light meal preparation, food storage, or reheating purposes. When using the kitchen, we kindly ask all guests to clean up after themselves.

Complimentary laundry services are available for extended stays, limited to one load per guest per week. Since our laundry units are located in the basement, we will take care of your laundry needs during your stay. Guests are not permitted in the basement.

We kindly ask that all guests remove their shoes upon entering the house; slippers are welcome. There are multiple sets of stairs, which may not be accessible for guests with limited mobility.

Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am because we take our beauty sleep seriously—and we ask that you do, too! Our home’s acoustics are not optimal and carry sounds easily, especially from the stairway and front door entrance, so we ask that there be minimal activity (preferably none) after 11pm. Please be considerate of light sleepers by gently closing bedroom and bathroom doors - turn the knob before shutting them - and keeping noise to an absolute minimum. If we can hear you during quiet hours, you’re being too loud. This listing is not suitable for guests who need to come and go after midnight, or enjoy staying up late at night.

We keep our home around 72-74°F during summer, and 65-67°F during winter. If you prefer a different setting, there is an A/C unit* and space heater in the room for your use. Please help us conserve energy by turning lights and appliances off when you are not present in the room.

We have a strict no smoking policy. This means no smoking of any kind - no vaping, no marijuana, no cigarettes, no recreational or illegal drugs in or near our home.

We have a strict no pets policy. Due to allergies, we cannot accommodate any pets, emotional support or service animals. Our two turtles live on the main floor - they love humans and will beg for food, but please do not handle them without our supervision.

If you plan on driving, please enter our street carefully as children are often seen playing outside. The parking spaces between driveways are designated for two vehicles - please avoid taking up two spots so we don't provoke our neighbors. Also, please do not block or park in our driveway.

We also list our top loft floor on Airbnb, so there may be other guests during your stay. We want to ensure that all of our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
