We are continuing to keep our home empty for at least 48-56 hours in between guests. This reduces the risk to our housekeeper and our guests giving time to viruses to lose their virulence. Our home is cleaned with Bleach Cleaners and all areas where is commonly touched is wiped down along with a deep cleaning in between guests. Canyonlands airport (Moab) is 30 minutes from our home. Fly in to Salt Lake city or Denver then a connecting flight to Canyonlands airport. You can rent a car from the Moab airport. Enjoy the quaintness of the airport and enjoy the no fuss, no hassle travel. Easy to rent the car and drop it off.

- "It was great. We went to several day trips jn all directions and it was a great midway place. Comfortable and clean. Fast internet and fun video games. I had contacted the host of the property via Vrbo messenger and didn’t get a response. Then on the last day we found a paper with more instructions and a phone number. So if I had found that earlier I might’ve had better communication. It had almost everything we needed in the kitchen. I know you can never be sure what kind of dishes etc the place will have but I did wish there was a muffin tin. There was an empty bag of washing machine pods so it was good I brought my own. But otherwise it was great. Totally would come stay again."

When the sun rises over the Green River each morning, you won’t even have to leave your bed to watch the way it turns the cliffs to fiery red.
Green River was recently recognized as the best small town in Utah and we have to agree! Part of our property is farmed for watermelons in the summer and don’t pass up stopping at one of the melon stands in town. You’ll see why this amazing little town is famous for its Melon Days festival every year. It has its own treasures such as Crystal Geyser, Blue Castle and the John Wesley Powell museum—but is also central to countless both famous and lesser known desert wonders. We definitely recommend hitting up the street tacos and grabbing a giant cinnamon roll at the Tamarisk restaurant. But you can get groceries and other items you might need just 5 minutes away in town. Interstate 70 is very easy to access and day trips to the parks and local public lands are a must. We’ll make you a list of our favorite areas, but no doubt you’ll find your own as well!
Please note that this is a brand new home and we have several projects in the works including an additional patio, landscaping, grass, fencing and river clearing for water sports. We’re excited to see our vision come to life over the next year or two and hope you’ll come back and enjoy it again!

- "Exactly as the pictires depict. Perfect space for large groups. It was only a short distance to Joes Valley and Huntington reservoirs. If you are on the fence aboit renting this place just do it!" - "Clean house. Functional for touring in that area. Ideal for travel to Buckwash, Joe's Valley, Wedge, San Rafael, Huntington State Park, and Nine Mile Canyon. Most mattresses were fine, a couple queen sizes downstairs were older and springy - not as comfortable. Downstairs "shared" showers are narrow, not good for larger people - but we did okay. Kids loved the video arcade. Neighbor's two dogs barked at us constantly. This prevented us from spending any significate time in the backyard or out on the deck. Once we were all in the house, we didn't hear them that much. Good communication with the host and friendly to deal with. We would stay here again."

The Neilsen House is quaint, comfortable, and family friendly. The Neilsen House was built in 1889. It is one block East of Highway 10 in the center of Ferron City. The lot includes a large side yard - park-like in appearance. In the garage are two four wheelers available for rent by the day or week. The main part of the house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen and laundry and can sleep 6.
Pets are not allowed inside the home, but arrangements can be made for boarding them.

The Millsite House was built by the Nelson Family in 1895, it has recently been restored and renovated to offer guests a unique experience and comfortable stay. The home is nestled in the middle of a working farm surrounded by breathtaking views. Historic details have been restored and preserved in hope of instilling a greater appreciation for our pioneer ancestors. The beautiful new kitchen with stainless steel appliances and large quartz island is stocked and fully functional with high end cookware, dishes, microwave, gas range and more. Dining room has a large farm style table with additional seating. The parlor is breathtaking with large windows, victorian furnishings and working gas fireplace with original mantle. The utility room has a washer and dryer and main level bathroom. The charming wood staircase leads to three bedrooms that sleep eight comfortably and two more bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, 55 inch television and private bathroom. All bedrooms have clean high quality bedding. - "This house is and absolutely adorable! It was clean and quaint, with two bedrooms, a living area, kitchen and two baths. The larger bedroom is located upstairs, with an attached bath. The updated interior is impressionable, with beautiful details and furniture. We only stayed in Castle Dale for a couple of nights, but I'm convinced this is the cutest rental in town. The only issue we noticed as it's an older, remodeled home, was that the upstairs gets quite warm. The host was quick to respond though and accommodated us for the warm temps. If you have 6 people or less, this is a great home! (More than 6 would be difficult to accommodate for sleeping as there are 2 beds and a pull out couch in the living room). But it worked great for our family (2 adults, 4 kids) Overall I loved our stay and would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to others! :)"

Featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the house sleeps up to 14 guests. Sleeping arrangements include 1 king size bed, 1 queen size bed, 4 twin bunk beds, 2 full size pull out couches and an additional cot. The flexible sleeping arrangement makes The Ranch House a great home base for your group's trip to Joe's or The San Rafael Swell.

The Ranch House is also centrally located to many exciting local attractions. Guests can fish, swim, or paddle board at the Joe's Valley Reservoir which is a short drive up Highway 29. The San Rafael Swell can be reached just 20-30 miles away where you can find the Buckhorn Wash Pictograph Panel, which features 130 feet of ancient artwork that dates back to over 2,000 years ago! And there is even more classic bouldering only 20 miles away at Triassic.

The kitchen has a great cooking space and they had a lot of utensils, pots, pans, dishes etc. I loved that though they included coffee, they also had some gourmet roasted chicory options and teas. Along with both a coffee maker and an electric tea kettle. There were plenty of towels which is important with such a large group. We would easily stay here (and probably will) again!"

Nielsen House was built in 1889 and was one of the first rock homes in Ferron. It has a suite with a sitting area with TV and sofa bed and a loft area with a queen bed and a bathroom. If you need more room the main part of the house can be rented as well. It has 2 bedrooms, a huge living room/formal dining room, large kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities.
