Beautiful cabin retreat in Duck Creek Village. This gem has all of the comforts of home with the tranquility of whispering pines, deer sightings and small village hospitality. Remodeled within the last year, the cabin has the newest kitchen appliances, pellet stove fireplace, flooring, furniture, beds, and Smart tvs (no cable service but Netflix is available on all tvs). Kitchen is stocked full of pots, pans, bakeware, dinnerware, utensils, lots of small appliances, spices, oils, flour, sugar, coffee, refrigerator full of condiments---just about everything you need to make great meals during your stay. Linens and towels are provided. Washer, dryer and detergent provided. This truly is a perfect "homebase" for all of the day trips throughout the area. Only 45 minutes to great National Parks. Enjoy quiet mornings and evenings on the front open air deck or covered back deck. BBQ grill and fire pit also available. Head out for ATV trails, fishing, hiking, biking and the like. - "Beautiful cabin very comfortable" - "This cabin was beyond perfect for my family of 4. The whole house was well stocked!!! I didn’t realize both bedrooms were upstairs and the steps were small and tricky…. Not a problem at all! The host very responsive!!! I can completely understand why Amazon takes forever to deliver out there! (There is a sign on the road recommending 4x4 and I understand why). It is in the middle of no where but we loved it!!! It took us about an hour to get to Bryce and Zion both! But we were able to come in from a long day and cook some supper and relax!!! Washer/dryer luckily was full size even though this was my first experience with a front load machine!!! The coffee pot in the kitchen was extremely slow but eventually made my coffee!!! I did notice several spider webs in the downstairs bathroom but they were tiny spiders and the cabin is in the woods!!! So what do you expect!!! The dishwasher in the kitchen was broken so we had to wash all our dishes by hand…. That was a pain…. But she apologized about this and said a new one was coming next week! My only two issues were no light in the laundry room (it was obvious they were in the process of putting up a ceiling fan just hadn’t finished it yet). And also when I stripped the beds after my stay both of the queen beds had bad stains on the mattress pad. I messaged the hostess about it and she apologized again! Said they would definitely be changed. I did pull them off both beds!!! Overall it was a wonderful stay!!"

This quaint and cozy 900 square foot cedar log cabin located in Duck Creek Village, Utah sleeps six with one full bathroom and two bedrooms. It is located on a one-half acre view lot on a dead end road that has minimal traffic and lots of privacy. This interior of this cabin was completely remodeled in 2007 and the exterior in 2011 with a new deck and roof.

Located in Southern Utah, Duck Creek Village, fishing, hunting, ATVing fun, snowmobiling and horseback riding are just a few of the attractions.

Navajo Lake, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Brian Head Ski and Summer Resort, and Panguitch Lake are all within minutes of Duck Creek Village. Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park are each less than an hour away. Aspen Mirror Lake and Duck Creek Pond, popular fishing spots, are just a short drive from the cabin.

Our 1300 sq ft cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, with 1 king size bed (brand new high-end DreamCloud mattress- RARE in cabins) on the first floor and 2 queen size beds on the 2nd floor. Both bedrooms have wood blinds for restful sleep after a long day of adventures.

Fully equipped kitchen includes fridge, microwave, oven, water boiler, double toaster, coffee machine and sandwich press.

The comfortable sectional and reclining chair in the living room are complemented by battery operated candles (for your safety ; ) ) to provide a warm and cozy atmosphere. TV has Roku for guests to log in to their favorite apps (Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc). The living room is equipped with an easy to operate electric pellet stove.

Upstairs you will find a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and a loft area with a reading nook (or simply to relax) and a couch and foosball table for some fun times.

Outdoor fire pit with chairs is perfect for stargazing or simply enjoying a tranquil evening with your loved ones. LOCATION- Please note this is a standalone cabin in the woods, in the mountains- this is not a 5* resort complex with 24/7 assistance and service. Elevation of Duck Creek is about 8500' and all the roads to the cabins are dirt or gravel. In the winter time (November through April) 4 wheel drive is required in all areas. We suggest bringing snow chains just in case.

Main streets are plowed during the day but keep in mind if it snows you will be still driving on snow covered gravel roads and they may be slippery.
Please ensure you park your car to the left of the red shed so the snow plow company has full access in case we need to have them come and plow driveway. Snow removal on the deck, to and around your car can be booked with advance notice for additional fee.

Our NONSMOKING cabin is located on a large half acre site and comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests, with 1 king size bed (brand new high-end DreamCloud mattress- RARE in cabins) and 1 queen size bed (Sealy) on the 2nd floor.

Fully equipped & remodeled kitchen includes fridge, microwave, oven, water boiler, toaster, coffee machine, George Foreman grill and blender. We also have an array of spices that are provided.

The living room is set up with a comfortable couch and loveseat, complemented by hand chosen rustic and cozy decor. The pellet stove provides a warm and cozy atmosphere during chill nights.

Upstairs you will find a bedroom with 1 king bed and another bedroom with a queen bed. The king bedroom has an electric fireplace and the queen bedroom has adorable fairy lights.

Please note there is currently no outdoor fire pit due to extreme drought. Per fire department & sheriffs order there are absolutely NO outside fires allowed.
Outside you will find a beautiful large patio where you can enjoy some meals, relax or stargaze at night!
There is a charcoal grill onsite for your BBQ pleasure. (Please bring your own charcoal)

It is a convenient location for day trips to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. The town of Duck Creek itself is cute as well. (We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Sue’s Chalet.) Note that Duck Creek high in elevation— 8000+ feet— so take precautions to avoid altitude sickness if you are not accustomed to the elevation. That being said, out of my family of 4 Floridians, only my daughter had symptoms— probably from not drinking enough water. After a day of rest and a lot of Gatorade, she was fine. The owner, Julie, was great to work with and responded to all my questions practically immediately. If you visit in cold weather, take Julie’s advice to have a 4-wheel drive and snow titles seriously— you will need them! My kids loved sledding (sleds included at the cabin), and exploring nearby Mammoth Cave. Seeing the locals harvest their own Christmas trees from the snowy surrounding forest was special indeed, since we usually get ours from Costco!"

- "We had a slight problem finding the home but were able to contact someone who got back to us right away for all the small questions we had throughout our stay. The home was clean, enough towels for all of us and all of the kitchenware we needed. The large fireplace was great at night where the kids could roast marshmallows and hotdogs. The neighbor (Chris) was extremely nice and helpful. We saw a lot of deer, and chipmunks and the kids had a really nice time. We plan on going back again next year."

- "Absolutely perfect place. Right in the town with easy access to everything. Very clean with all of the amenities, even a outside grill! I will pick this place over a hotel any day. Not one neighbor so it's nice, quiet and secluded. Big rooms with plenty space. A true hidden gem." - "This rental in a storage unit was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for the two of us. The owner Shari was helpful during check in when I couldn't get the Blue Ray to connect. Between the two of us we got it to work and realized I could use my personal FireStick to access Live TV. When the smoke alarm battery died she came over to replace it and brought bedroom lamps and tables for the living room. These greatly added to the comfort level of the unit. All it needs now is a lamp for the living room! If you need to stay in this area I would recommend this rental."

Beautiful cozy log cabin on level property tucked into the pines for peace, quiet tranquility! Get away from the noise of the city and escape to the cool mountain air that our little peace of heaven will provide. This is the place to stay for your getaway. Lots of trailer parking and an RV hookup. Nice deck with fire pit to enjoy after a long day on the trails. a short drive to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Navajo Lake, Panquitch Lake, Cedar Breaks and Brian Head Resort for Summer activities. Cedar City is a 30 minute drive to additional restaurants, activities & The Shakespearean Festival. All of the amenities of home but in the mountains! Gas fireplace for cool nights or for the setting the mood for a movie or good book. Close proximity to Duck Creek Village and numerous ATV trails. Fishing, Hiking, or just relaxing on the deck after a day of riding the trails.

- "We wanted to get away for our Anniversary and the Porcupine Cabin was perfect. We enjoyed watching the deer cross the property each day and used the front porch to relax daily. Our hosts were great and even told us of events that were happening while we were there. The neighborhood/location is great, quiet and close to the Village.
