This beautiful cabin has so many options at your finger tips of activities around the house and property or within Ashley National Forest. The valley the cabin sits in is considered "The Gateway to Granddaddy Lake Trailhead", a popular trail hike for people and horses, the trail continues on to many other trails and lakes in the High Uinta's. There are many more hikes and horseback riding trails right from the front door along the North Fork River and a mile hike to a small 8ft waterfall from the cabin up a beautiful side valley following Swift Creek, pine trees and Aspens. The famous North Fork River for fishing or tubbing, passes the house within walking distance and meets up with a bigger river, Duchesne River in Hanna for river fishing. West Fork is only a mile from North Fork for more fishing and outdoor fun. We will let you know where our secret swim hole and zip line is on the North Fork River, just a stretch of the legs by the cabin when you check in. Only street legal vehicles are allowed in this valley that has 3 camp grounds, Aspen, Castle Cliff Campground, Hades, and Iron Mine, but if you enjoy 4 wheeling, 100's of miles of trails in the High Uinta's, right off Wolf Creek Pass, West Fork, and East Fork, are just a 10 minute trailer ride away. Along with trails to Castle Rock and Still Water Dam (in East Fork). Street legal Razors are allowed to leave right from the property to 100's of miles of mountain trails. There is also a turn off in Hanna, just 10 minutes the other way, that takes you to 4 wheeler trails to the top of Castle Rock where you get a view of Hades Lake and our valley, or take the trails to Still Water Dam, all are located with in Ashley National Forest. Starvation Lake is a 45 minute drive from the cabin and is great for all boating activities. It also has a nice beach area and rentals of all sorts for fun on the lake. We enjoy Starvation, because its not as busy as other Utah lakes. Bring all of your toys because there is something to do with them all year round, bikes, horses, fishing poles, tubes, 4 wheelers, Razors, hiking shoes, etc. So many trails from the cabin, North Fork, West Fork, Wolf Creek Pass, East Fork and Stillwater Dam. Bring your boat to the cabin and trailer the boat to Starvation Res State Park (little Lake Powell). it is beautiful and less crowded than any other of the Utah lakes and only 46 miles from the cabin.

The property itself is on 3 acres, the house is 3000 sq ft, with an extra 1300 sq ft of outdoor decking living space with an outdoor fire place on the deck. The house overlooks Swift Creek (seasonal creek that runs year round based on mountain snow pack) that runs through the property and makes a beautiful waterfall sound. If swift Creek happens to be dry, you can hear the larger North Fork River from the house too. The cabin has a nice size fire pit with bench seating, its just steps away from the front door. North Fork, where the cabin is nestled, is a beautiful valley with mountains that have beautiful rock formations and cliffs, Lightning Ridge, Castle Rock, and Stone Face to name a few. The cabin has a wonderful master suite with an extra deep soaker tub. Master has its own walk out deck. Large loft with pool table, loft has its own walk out deck with amazing views of valley and river. 2 bedrooms on main floor with 1 bathroom. Open concept main living area and kitchen. Walk out basement with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and family room. A smart 65 inch flat screen set up just for watching DVD movies. Wireless Internet is provided and cell phone reception is great. Loon Lodge at Six Lakes Fishing Preserve and Resort has 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths; sleeps up to 20; spacious living room, game room, rock fireplace, large wrap around deck, large kitchen. The in ground spa and gas fireplace are absolutely breath taking. Your family will never want to leave this place. You have private access to the beautiful loon lake and because it is private you don't need a fishing license. It is catch and release however. There are 6 additional lakes and the property boarders the Sand Wash Reservoir for waterskiing, waverunning or additional fishing. Licenses are required on the reservoir. For large groups up too 125 people reserve the entire Six Lakes property including the Loon Cabin, Eagle Cabin, and group use area that has 5 camper cabins and tent and RV sites.

Rancho Sin Vacas is a beautiful, secluded, 12-acre property on the North Fork of the Duchesne River. Located at the base of the Ashley National Forest in Hanna, Utah. Hanna's population is about 100, luckily, my site is sandwhiched between Navajo Red Sandstone outcroppings. This no traffic light, one gas station town is 78 miles east of Salt Lake City. Has the charm of locals waving at on coming cars and a grocery store that sells milk and horseshoes by the pound. My Ranch house has an updated kitchen complete with a set of new appliances, dining room, a living room with a new leather queen bed sofa sleeper, a full bath, one large bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom cantilevered over the river with a queen bed (max occupancy of rented area is 6). The cantilevered room was originally built 40 years ago and is the only legal cantilevered structure over the Duchesne River. Windows are on all sides, with electric heat, not radiant. The front deck of the ranch house is 25 feet from the river and a large fire pit 15 feet from the river. A small campfire area and seating is on the river bank under the cantilevered bedroom...3 feet from the river. I own about 1/4 mile of river frontage, both sides...three to four fishing holes are present, where brown and rainbow trout reside. Guests can fish up and down the Duchesne River for miles, since the State of Utah Department of Resources purchased these rights in the 70's. So fish as long as you want and come back and hang out near the river... the mesmerizing sound of the river and the the bright stars at 6800 feet is spectacular way to unwind for the day. For over 20 years, Rancho Sin Vacas has served as a sandbox for raising my three daughters. It is time to share this gem. Come fish and play on my property on the Duchesne River. Since I am the very first legal Bed and Breakfast in Duchesne County, it is mandatory that I am present on site. Guests get the cantilevered bedroom exclusively, but not the entire ranch house. I have a studio upstairs, not over any of the rented area. But I might spend the night in my 800 square foot , ten tree treehouse aka...Tajmahut.. complete with Murphy bed and fireplace up river... or across the river in my 16 ft by 24 ft wall tent ...aka... Preacher Tent. Every night is different, but all a guest needs to do is text me, and I will get back in a few minutes!

Literally just bring yourselves, a swimsuit, something warmer for the evenings/mornings, and water shoes and you'll be set. This is exactly the getaway we needed and wanted. We can't wait to go back!"

The yurts are very close in proximity to one another. You can and will hear your neighbors all day/night. If they have animals, plan to have them visit you. The Website states a whirlpool/jacuzzi, but there isn't one. Wifi/internet never worked. The mattresses are better than the ground but plan on a sore back/neck. The restroom/shower/outside sink needs some work. Our toilet room floor was constantly wet from what I'm hoping was the sink that was outside draining directly into the floor. This was my first "glamping" experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I highly recommend if you are going about this in a group setting, not so much for alone and quiet time."

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room to play. Thousands of acres of recreation on the Uinta/Wasatch national forest. Trail riding, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, kayaking all within 10 minutes of the home. 10 minutes away from on the best fishing lake in Utah (Strawberry Reservoir). Just 20 minutes from the fun recreation lake (Starvation Reservoir) We even have a Kayak to use while you stay. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the evening from the large windows on both front and back of the home or out on the back patio while enjoying the campfire and cooking on the black stone or the smell of the smoker going. All with the convenience of a nearby store and cafe. The home is spacious with 3 Bedrooms and two full baths and a large laundry room. Two large living areas and spacious kitchen for the whole family!

Blender included. Two cots with bedding. Cabin sleeps a total of 9. Great riding for 4-wheelers or motorcycles. Just be sure to stay on dirt roads.

A $300 security deposit/fee will need to be paid within 72 hours of booking. 85% is refundable within 15 business days of checkout. 15% goes to Vrbo for their service fees for hosts to use deposit feature, and for management to do their walkthrough following guest’s departure. The 15% fee will be charged for ANY deposits or fees, because Vrbo fees are passed down to the host. This includes, but is not limited to any change of plans. Please take care of the property for your easy security deposit refund. Note, that if deposit isn’t paid by checkin date, the access code will not be released and refund for booking will not be given. Deposits are important to secure property and is mandatory.

Early checkins must be verified by host and are not always available. If an early checkin is requested and open, then an early checkin fee of $45 must be paid before access code is given. The soonest we can do early checkin’s is 2:00 pm (2 hours early). Fireplace is not to be used due to insurance reasons. Using it may result in lost deposit. Deposit may also be lost if more guests show up than the amount that was booked. Guests are considered guests whether they spend the night or not. If rules are not followed, host has the right to ask guests to vacate at any time with no refund of booking or deposit. Please be honest with the number of guests that will be at the cabin. Note that guest agrees to be present while using the dryer since timer does not alert. A mandatory pet fee of $50 per pet (2 pet’s total), per day will need to be paid within 24 hours of booking, along with a $250 pet deposit. 85% of deposit is refundable. 15% goes to vrbo for the use of their host deposit feature as well as to management for walkthrough following checkout. This property is for 30, or more days booked.

We only allow a 3 car minimum on property. Anymore than that will result in immediate dismissal from property with no refund. Absolutely no smoking or vaping. By booking this property, guest agrees to all the above.
