People are friendly and the surrounding national parks and munuments are just a short drive. Mountain biking and skiing at Brian Head are just 15 minutes away.

Quiet town with multi-million dollar homes to 150 year old historic homes. Crime seems non-existant. Cars and homes are seldom locked. Two wonderful bedrooms situated perfectly on opposite sides of the living room and kitchen, so privacy is available, but common rooms stay common. With a small child I was grateful for the washing machine and bathtub options. An overall great design for a home. Lots of room to play, cook, relax and enjoy the gas fireplace. Cozy and restful. As for outside of the home, we were able to play in the winter snow in the front yard, sit outside on the porch and patio on the sunny days, and pull the car up close to the side door for easy loading and unloading through the kitchen. In Parowan, and the area, this house is a true gem!!!! A short walk to a city playground. A short walk (or drive) to downtown Parowan with great restaurants and a sweet atmosphere. My wife and I live in the home directly to the East of this rental so we can easily be accessible for any concerns or questions that may arise. We also have many family members who live in Parowan that can be quickly used to solve any unexpected problems that my arise.

A small quiet town with with several restaurants and a newly remodeled public pool and public park just one block away. The pool can be privately reserved for families from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday thru Saturday plus 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays . You can visit Parowan City's web site for pool hours and fees for up-to-date information. Shaded pavilions are also available to reserve for friend and family gatherings.
A frisbee disc golf course is just up the canyon road 2 miles along with hiking and biking trails.

2. Parking works best on graveled areas allowing access to the pickle ball and basketball courts. Parking is also allowed on grass areas. Please keep parking along cabin frontage which should be at least 15 cars being on a corner lot.

3. Respect the surrounding peaceful neighborhood. Loud talking should be kept to a minimum and confined to indoors. Keeping noise levels down especially between 10pm and 8am helps to maintain a good relationship with our community and avoids you experiencing any neighbor complaints.

4. Smoke-Free Stay:
Our home is a strict no-smoking zone, which helps us maintain a fresh environment.

Please smoke outside in the designated area where you’ll find a table, and a cigarette butt receptacle.

5. No Extra Guests:
If you plan to have visitors during the day, no problem. But please make sure the only guests who stay overnight are those listed in your reservation.

This helps us follow local ordinances on maximum occupancy and keep our home comfortable and safe for everyone.

6. Pet Policy:
We’re a pet-free home, which includes animals of all types.

7. Pool Safety:
Please ensure that, without exception, children are supervised at all times while using the hot tub. Additionally, strictly no glassware is allowed in the hot tub to prevent accidents and injuries.

8. Trash and Recycling:

- "The property was perfect for my husband, my two sons, and their wives. The dressers were dusty, but I know Parowan can be windy. The beds were comfortable and the two living rooms were great for us to have our own spaces. I wish there had been an iron and ironing board, blow dryer, and a few more wash cloths (there were plenty of towels). A TV in a couple of the bedrooms would have been nice, too. We are a few minutes from Interstate 15 and easily accessible year round. No need for four-wheel drive or chains as we are located in the foothills of the higher elevations. Plenty of parking on site and walking distance to the local grocery store, Thai restaurant, and pizza parlor. It`s a quick five minute drive to downtown Parowan.

We want to ensure you have the best experience possible during your stay. Please be aware that there is a power substation adjacent to our property. We understand that it may not present the most picturesque view and we are planning to address this by planting a natural `green screen` of trees this coming spring to enhance the beauty and privacy of your view.

Disposal Information: For your convenience, please place trash in the provided bins. Trash pickup is on Tuesday morning. There are two large bins that should be placed at the edge of the street by 7 AM on Tuesdays. If your checkout happens to be on a Tuesday, we appreciate your assistance with this. Thank you!

2. If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking.

3. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

4. No parties or events allowed.

5. No pets allowed.

6. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

7. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).

8. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $250 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

9. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

10. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.

11. Campfire Rules:

• Iron County Utah currently has Stage 1 fire restrictions in effect which does not allow open fires of any kind. However, there is an exception that allows campfires at private residences in a permanently constructed fire pit where running water is present.
• More information can be found under Iron County Fire Department`s website.
• If you choose to use the fire pit, you assume the risk of burns and injuries and you must strictly adhere to the following rules:
• Do not build a large fire with flying embers and do not build a fire on a windy day.
• Do not burn trash, leaves, or any non-wood materials.
• Never leave the fire unattended.
• Keep the water hose and shovel near the wood pile within easy reach of the campfire.
• Fully extinguish the fire before leaving the area or going to bed. Pour water on the fire, stir the ashes, and pour more water until everything is cold to the touch.

12. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.

This home is in the downtown area of scenic Parowan located in Southern Utah. This home is within minutes below Brianhead Ski Resort. This home used to be the post office and has historical significance. It was completely renovated recently and is modern in style giving it a Chicago/ New York type loft. Small town Main St. USA feel. Restaurants and Shopping within steps. There are 3 bedrooms and a loft with 4 bathrooms. Location, Location, Location and there is no other property like this around. One of a kind property and is historical but with all the modern amenities. This home does have a monitored alarm system and has two outside cameras near side door and front of building. We do not accept checks or money orders. We only book with the vrbo system via credit cards.

It has a king bed and two twin size 6 inch Memory Foam Tri-Fold Futon Mattresses w/ sheets/blankets and pillows available for the 3rd and 4th guests. The bedroom has direct access to the rear deck with sitting areas.

The property is located at the base of Brian Head, about a 20 minute drive up/down the mountain in Parowan on the road to the Gap. We are just minutes off the I-15.

Onsite Penumbra Chipping Golf Course is for EXPERIENCED golfers only. This is for putting/chipping NEVER DRIVING. Golf clubs/balls available upon request.

Onsite children's playground has three swings, climbing net, fort and slide. Guests must supervise children using the playground. Convenient locations with benches and shade are available for parents to watch their children in ALL play areas.

Use of the monkey bikes requires signing a liability release and wearing a helmet. The onsite "peddle" NOT RACE course is designed for kids (adults) to safely peddle the little (very strong) monkey bikes on a 1/4 mile winding paved course (on property) surrounded by beautiful landscaping.

We also offer (weather permitting) a scavenger hunt game for kids and adults where you try to locate over fifty art objects cleverly located on the Tacit Shadow resort property. Prizes offered to children based on the number of art objects located. (Check list given to each participant)

Use of the onsite theater requires advance notice and is not always available. If your group has a technical person that can run projectors and video equipment it makes such use easier.

The onsite disco/dance club is open sporadically with planed, local, staff and family events. If this is something that interests you, please ask about any scheduled events. Most the time staying guests are welcome to join the fun. We have a lot of regular guests that often make such use happen as they are familiar with the club. Of course this can always be included with wedding and special event packages as well as conference events (Silhouette Onsite Conference Center with Video Conf. capability).

The space
Welcome to our fully remodeled guest studio. The studio is connected to the main house, but totally private (including the restroom) with its own entrance on the right side of the house, away from the front entrance of the main house. There are no shared spaces. There is a queen bed and a twin futon couch. The futon is only 71" long so it's perfect for a child or smaller adult. You'll feel like you are renting a stand alone house with privacy and security. Enjoy the "Bee" decor, inside the studio as well as out on the patio. This 400 sq ft studio includes a kitchenette with the basic kitchen utensils and small kitchen table. The coffee table can also be used as a bench for the table.

3rd bedroom: this bedroom is located in the back of the house and it's
small. It has one full size bed in it.

4th bedroom: full size day bed with a twin trundle bed

Master bathroom is equipped with a walking shower and double vanity. All essentials provided

Second bathroom has a shower tub combo and it comes with everything you need to soak off the stress of your day after a long day of hiking, biking, skiing etc.

Sleeps 10 however dinning room can currently accommodate up to 6(more chairs coming soon). There is more space available to dine in the living room on the couch and around the coffee table.

We understand that it may not present the most picturesque view and we are planning to address this by planting a natural "green screen" of trees this coming spring to enhance the beauty and privacy of your view.

Disposal Information: For your convenience, please place trash in the provided bins. Trash pickup is on Tuesday morning. There are two large bins that should be placed at the edge of the street by 7 AM on Tuesdays. If your checkout happens to be on a Tuesday, we appreciate your assistance with this. Thank you!
