The Rufe House is located 5 miles from Stowe Village on 2 acres surrounded by farmland + a quiet wooded area. We are situated on a private drive with no thru traffic and a large well maintained backyard. High speed internet with WiFi, Comcast TV service and air conditioning is provided.

Our 4 bedrooms / two bath configuration can comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 adults with additional twin beds for children. The bedroom and bath arrangement is perfect for small groups as well as family gatherings. An assortment of games, puzzles, paperback books are welcome for our guests to use during their stay! A high chair and portacrib are available upon request.

FIRST FLOOR:
First floor has an open floor plan with a custom kitchen, dining area that opens to a 30 ft deck wrap around deck + private yard, a living room with fireplace, cathedral ceiling and exposed beams, master bedroom and a full bath with laundry area.
Our living room has a wood burning fireplace, cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, leather couches and a game table. The stairway to the second floor is an open stairway with a second floor balcony walkway that overlooks the living room. A 50" TV, high speed internet with WiFi, Comcast TV service as well as a DVD player are provided. We stock seasoned firewood and kindling in the basement for our guests to use.

Our custom kitchen has cherry cabinetry, tile floor and is stocked with high quality pots, pans, dishes and service ware for 12 guests. Our guests will find that is easy to prepare everything from holiday meals to outdoor BBQ's. Coffee maker, 4 slice toaster, toaster oven, microwave, slow cooker, large electric fry pan, blender, Cuisinart food processor, electric mixer, roasting pans etc are provided as well as basic kitchen supplies. Basic supplies provided : spices, paper products (napkins, paper towels), cleaning supplies, dish soap, dish washer detergent, kitchen wraps, trash bags, coffee filters, sugar, flour, etc. We do not provide coffee.
Our dining area has a custom table that seats 12! Perfect for dining as well as for playing games or making puzzles! The dining area opens to our 30' deck. During the warmer months an outside dining table with umbrella and chairs is provided. A Weber Gas grill is available on the deck year round.

The first floor has master bedroom has a queen bed, a set of bunk beds and a 32" TV. The first floor bath has a tub with shower, safety grab bar and a single vanity. Each of our bathrooms has abundant towels, a hairdryer, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, shampoo and bath soap. Adjoining the first floor bathroom is a laundry area with full size washer, dryer, extra towels + linens. Laundry detergent is provided

SECOND FLOOR: There are three bedrooms and a second bath with double vanity, shower and linen closet on the second floor.
Two bedrooms on the second floor have a double bed and one twin bed. The third bedroom on the second floor has a queen bed and one bunk bed. Extra blankets , linens and pillows are provided in each bedroom.
The second floor bath has a shower, linen closet and a double vanity. Towels, hairdryer, shampoo, bath soap, toilet paper and cleaning supplies
are provided in each bathroom.

For your convenience seasoned firewood + kindling are stacked in the basement. There is also a workbench in the basement for tuning skis/bikes
Our home is immaculately maintained and is cleaned in accordance with CDC guidelines for health and safety.

This 2.8 acre property is located on a private road surrounded by a peaceful forrest atop a hill. Guest's enjoy visiting Ben and Jerry's, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Boyden Valley Winery and many other Vermont attractions, which are within a 30 minute drive.

We have several of Vermont's most popular breweries within a few miles of us to include The Alchemist, Trapp Brewery, Rock Art, Lost Nation, Ten Bends and Hill Farmstead. We keep a couple growlers available for guests to use so you can bring back your favorites.

For water lovers we're close to the Green River and Waterbury Reservoirs, Lake Elmore and Lake Eden all of which offer great opportunity for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding.

We also close to the Vast Trail system for snowmobiles and being avid motorcyclist we can help plan some great area rides for guest who prefer to travel on two or three wheels.

There is a great BBQ about a mile away, Black Diamond BBQ. And pizza delivery is available through Pizza on Main which is excellent.

The area also has many excellent dining options and we're happy to make recommendations and discuss what's available.

We live in the attached house and are available for any questions and to make recommendations for area activities, dining options and more. We occasionally have guests staying in the house as well.

Enjoy the Balsam Lodge which was built to host a great vacation with open spaces for gathering and quiet places when needed. The Lodge's 3 acres were part of a Christmas Tree farm which is where the name is derived from. The Lodge was custom designed to host a great vacation for a family or for a group of friends. With beds sleeping 8 people there is plenty of room.

As you enter the house thru the mudroom you will find adequate space to hang coats and store shoes and gear. Access to the 2 car garage is to one side while a full laundry room and a full bathroom with stall shower is off this area also.

The living room with 50" TV and soundbar is accessed off the mudroom hallway and opens to the "Chef" inspired kitchen. You fill find a Keurig Coffee Maker and a regular drip coffee maker, toaster oven, crock pot, rice cooker dishwasher, 5 burner cooktop, double ovens and dual sink locations just to mention a few of the items plus of course plenty of dishes and silverware.

Off the kitchen you can enter the dining room with 8' custom wood plank table
which has seating for 10. This is a great place to have meals or play a board game. Walking out of the sliding glass door of the dining room you can access the deck and BBQ Grill.

The Great Room, which can be accessed off the kitchen or living room, has a wood burning fireplace (plenty of wood in the shed), seating for 8. Have a cocktail at the bar that is also located in the Great Room and discuss how you conquered The Goat or hiked Bingham's Falls! Relax in front of a roaring fire and watch the 55" TV above the fireplace.

Upstairs are the 4 bedrooms. The first bedroom is the master suite with a king bed and it's own bathroom with tub. There are also 2 queen bedrooms and 1 bunk room with 2 custom made bunk beds. These three bedrooms share the third bath that is upstairs or the bath on the main floor.

In the basement we have added a rec room with a TV and two comfortable couches (futons) plus a Foosball table. In addition there is a play room for the kids that includes a variety of toys for their use.

During the warmer months all bedrooms and living areas have air conditioning so you will sleep in comfort. We have multiple lawn games to keep everyone happy including a Balsam Lodge Cornhole, Connect 4, bats and balls and Can Jam. When the sun sets sit around the outdoor firepit in the backyard. We also have two kayaks available for your use (By using the kayaks the user assumes all risks including transporting them to and from the body of water)

The kitchenette has a farmhouse sink, Keurig (coffee essentials included - coffee k-cups for your first morning, sugar and cream), mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, wine/water glasses, and mugs. (PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow any additional outside appliances. No exceptions. If you are planning to save money by cooking in - this isn't the rental for you.)

A cozy sleeping loft with queen bed (accessed by steep stairs) is directly above that looks out to our tree lined, private yard. The headspace in the loft is 6ft at the peak.

The bathroom has a large tiled shower and heated floors.

Unique bunkhouse accommodation with design funk in a rural setting on a little horse farm. We are only 5 miles from downtown Stowe but it is out of the hustle and bustle tucked on a dead end dirt road where it’s actually dark at night and you can see the stars. The kitchen has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker: perfect for your breakfast and packing a lunch. We bet you might want to go out for dinner at one of the many amazing places there are within 5 miles from The Bunkhouse.

The space
Long, long ago, this little old milking parlor was converted into a living space. Perched up above a field on the base of Elmore mountain, the milk house enjoys Mountain View’s, beautiful gardens as well as proximity to Stowe and all of its recreation. The Catamount trail is just steps away from the front door. With 300+ miles of backcountry + snowshoeing trails, this area is a winter paradise.

The milk house is on our 42 acre property which is all yours to explore. We live in a cozy corner of an 1840 post and beam barn in the back and there’s is a little farmhouse that we also rent out in the front. Feel free to explore the land on skis or snowshoes in the winter and enjoy the gardens and forest in the summer :)

Other things to note
Some of the challenges (or perks!) with living in rural Vermont include but are not limited to:
- Dirt roads. Pot holes can be annoying. So can the month of April (or whenever Spring mud season decides to visit). If we have a lot of snow and a sudden thaw, it can create muddy roads. This usually happens in the Spring.
- Snow tires and of all wheel drive are very helpful in the snowy months! The town is good about plowing and sanding but of course if it is snowing, there isn’t always going to be a plow truck right ahead of you.
- No late night delivery services.
- The bedrooms of this old building have shorter ceilings. If you are 6’6 or taller you may want to duck a little extra when entering and exiting through bedroom doorways.
- I may forget to turn off the dehumidifier during the Spring melts. Feel free to turn it off but if you start to notice the air feeling wet, please try to turn it on when you’re not in the house.
-We don’t have it in us to not allow dogs in the house but we do ask that if you really want to bring your sweet one, for a nightly fee of $35. If leaving a check or cash doesn’t work for you, please message us and we can create a charge or pass on our Venmo/ PayPal info. We hope you understand!

There is abundent wildlife in the area: deer, coyotes, bear, moose, woodchucks, ducks, owls, fox, hawks, bobcats and more. We've even had a visit from a rare (for this area) Canadian Lynx. We welcome them all (except for porcupines, which are a threat to our dogs and chipmunks, which are cute but irritating). The space
Our bright cozy apartment has a private covered entrance with porch and ample parking and private hot tub just steps from the door.

There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a queen pull out couch in the living room which offers accommodations for up to four people. The full bathroom has a tub/shower and washer/dryer for your use.

The living room has a Smart TV and complimentary Wifi. There is cell service for most carriers.

There is a full kitchen equipped with a range, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, reusable K-Cup pod for ground coffee, toaster and a full compliment of cookware making it easy to prepare you own meals.

The covered porch has a table and chairs along with gas grill for outdoor cooking and relaxation. The apartment and porch offers privacy and a great view of the back yard and woods where guest often spot deer and other wildlife.

We're located just outside town in a quiet neighborhood where you'll find privacy, peace and quiet while still being close to shopping, dining, sport and recreational activities.

During the winter the road is well maintained by the town which plows and sands regularly when needed. Winter tires or AWD is recommended during snow storms.

The back yard has a southern exposure for plenty of sunshine, a beautiful pond. During the summer a fire ring is available so you can sit around an evening fire while gazing at the stars. We'll even supply the wood.

The space
Brookside Guest House is a separate building on our property with its own driveway, private parking and private entrance. Enjoy a restful time out on the private deck equipped with gas grill while chilling in the sun and listening to the babbling brooks.

Guests have access to the entire guest house which is a stand alone structure separate from the other buildings on our property. Self check in with key pad.

The Guest House can accommodate up to 6 guests. Please note that if you have more than 2 guests in your party(the person booking the reservation is considered a guest), there will be a $20 charge per additional guest. We ask that the registration accurately reflects the number of guests in your party. Thank you.

We have a friendly Golden Retriever named Trilli , who is well trained and a real delight! She is only outside when we are, however, if she happens to come over to say hello, please give her a pat and she should then head back to our home!

If you chose to use the umbrella on the private deck, please return it to the storage closet when you are done so it doesn't blow away.

In the living room, unwind by the gas fireplace, spin some records on the record player, and enjoy quality time with your loved ones. Upstairs, find comfortable accommodations with a queen bed in one room (fall asleep listening to the sounds of the brook) and two twins (or a king with our conversion kit) in the other. Bedrooms are equipped with cozy Casper mattresses and Brooklinen linens. For remote workers: one bedroom has a workspace and there is also a desk in the living room. A full bathroom on the first floor and a half bath upstairs next to the bedrooms ensure convenience for your stay.

While an 1810 farmhouse boasts its fair share of quirks, like slightly slanted floors and low ceilings in some places, it's all part of the charm of staying in a piece of history. This home was built in the early days of settling in this area – and in the same year that the merino wool trades came to Vermont. And with Stowe Village and Morrisville just a short drive away, you'll have easy access to local dining, shopping, and outdoor adventures.

End your days roasting marshmallows and stargazing around the firepit or enjoying a meal from the local farmer right next door.

Please note that there is also a small barn next door on our property that may be rented to other guests during your stay. While some of the outdoor spaces are shared, the farmhouse, deck, and fire pit is exclusively yours to enjoy. Other things to note
The property is on a rural dirt road. During winter and early spring, they can get very muddy and potholes can be common. While all wheel/4WD is always great for VT, specifically during these times, we *highly* recommend 4WD vehicles.

Home is private and the land is yours to use. Note there is a sometimes occupied barn also located on the property.

The pond is beautiful and peaceful, but is not swimmable at this time. There are lots of local watering holes nearby, as well as Lake Elmore.

Welcome to the Stagecoach Apartment! While staying here you will enjoy a private and peaceful setting. The space is newly built and thoughtfully decorated. There is a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. The spacious living room and kitchen are just what you need for a home away from home. The location is very close to downtown Stowe. This convenient country home has a hot tub and gas fireplace for your relaxation enjoyment.

It’s located 10 minutes from Stowe in Morrisville on a dead end gravel road just 1/4 mile from the paved Stagecoach Road.

There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms available for guests along with a hot tub on the private screened in porch. A full kitchen, dining room, living room and front porch with a country porch swing and rocking chairs.

The space
This is a country home located on a dead end road for a quiet relaxing stay.

There is a gas fireplace in the living room and a private 4 person hot tub is on the screened in back porch for your enjoyment.

We’re just 6 miles from Stowe Village. And surround by several breweries. We’re also a short drive from Smugglers Ski Area and Jay Peak Resort and water park.

This is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts be it skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking and so much more.

Guests have access to two bedrooms each with a queen bed. Two full bathrooms one upstairs with a washer and dryer and one on the main level. There is a well supplied kitchen, living room, dining room, front porch and back screened in porch with a hot tub and patio.

This is my primary residence which I vacate when guests are staying in the house. The property also has a one bedroom apartment over the garage which is also listed through Airbnb so there may be other guests on the property. The apartment is completely separate from the house with a private entry and it’s own hot tub so there is little or no interaction between guests.

We are on a gravel road and hill. Being in snow country there are times when good tires or four wheel drive are suggested. The road is well maintained but we do get snow and in the spring mud season.

Welcome to our treehouse inspired, modern cabin overlooking The Kenfield Brook on Terrill Gorge. We are located 5 miles from Stowe and its attractions, and just a few minutes from downtown Morrrisville with all its amenities. Just upstream from the picturesque Cady’s Fall swimming hole and across the brook from the amazing Cady’s Falls bike trails, our cabin is perched atop the hillside. With its simple, minimalist design it’s easy to immerse yourselves in nature and feel at home in the trees.

The space
Our cabin is small and cozy.
The path to the cabin is short and sweet, with a very accessible switchback style curves to make navigating the hillside easy. It is lit by party lights.
There is a very functional kitchenette with a 2 burner propane cooktop, a drip coffee maker, electric tea kettle, counter top oven, and mini-fridge with a freezer on top.
We provide coffee and tea and other simple staples. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics for cooking and enjoying easy meals in the cabin.
There is a cute shower with nice hot water and good pressure.
We have a composting toilet that is very simple to use. It is not possible to have traditional septic in this unique location.
Heating and cooling is provided by a small electric heat pump, very simple and no fuss.
We are a short walk away from the Black Diamond BBQ, a fantastic restaurant, bar, and catering company. They are open Thursday - Saturday and we love them.
Down by the cabin the Kenfield Brook babbles by. The brook sometimes looks more like a river when we have heavy rains or spring snowmelt so please take care while enjoying the surroundings!

In the Eclipse Path of Totality! Get cozy in our tiny, homemade glamping cabin on wheels... just a bit bigger than the queen size bed inside it! It's insulated, heated and has electricity, an outdoor firepit and a bar or two of cell service. (NO BATHROOM! ... but there's a clean restroom at the 24 hour convenience store 5 miles up the road.)

The space
This tiny homemade camper is 7' wide x 8' long. It offers a queen size bed and 3' to stand up in! It's on its own small country lot, 1 mile north of Stowe town line, 5 miles from Stowe's Main Street and in the Eclipse PATH OF TOTALITY!

NO BATHROOM! ...but there's a clean bathroom at the 24 hour convenience store 5 miles up the road.

Welcome to National! Wake up to the mountains in this lovely secluded Sterling Valley retreat, just 10 minutes from downtown Stowe. Cook in the full kitchen, relax in front of the 55" TV, and enjoy all the great Vermont outdoors has to offer right out of your door. A queen-sized sofa bed in the living room with Tuft & Needle mattress topper means friends and family stay in comfort, queen-sized bed features a Leesa mattress while a trundle and crib makes the twin room perfect for sleepovers.

Other things to note
Air condition is window units in the main living area and larger bedroom. Our house is on well water and at times can have a sulfur smell to it. This is naturally occurring and safe to drink. We do provide a Brita filter however for your convenience.

*Winter* Guests staying with us in the winter may not be able to drive directly to the house even if they have proper tires/vehicles for the conditions. To book in the winter you must have a 4wd/awd car with SNOW TIRES, not all-season tires or mud tires. While we have not personally had difficulties, guests ill-equipped tend to have trouble. If you choose to book in the winter with less than this you will likely have to walk to the house and even if you do have this equipment you may need to walk in certain weather conditions. If your vehicle does get stuck we are not liable and you will have to arrange a tow truck. Furthermore, we recommend bringing grippers/spikes for your shoes so you can safely walk up the drive should it become slippery. The walk is uphill and may be slippery so please pack accordingly. Plowing may not be available first thing in the morning and the plow trucks only come when there is at least 4 inches of snow to not destroy their equipment. Even with an AWD or 4WD vehicle with snow tires you may not be able to drive up the driveway. If all this doesn't sound ok to you please cancel your stay. We're excited to host you but just want to make sure you're prepared! If you love our space but don't have the equipment for winter be sure to stay with us in the summer!
