- "It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous. There's not a lot to do in the area in the fall / winter, but we wanted just to go and relax, and we did that! It was perfect for us. We stayed in cabin number one, the original log cabin, and as one might expect it had a bit of a draft - but fresh air is a good thing when it's offset by a good heating system! The Wi-Fi was weak /slow but we didn't care because the AT&T cell service was just fine, and we accessed the internet that way or used a hotspot. We enjoyed some really good food at the Gap, a local restaurant, and the foliage color was just spectacular.. If you're not concerned about having everything look "modern", then I would say this is a perfect place for a getaway! We might even try it sometime for a family vacation, as there are many small cottages in one place the lakeshore."

- "Wonderful accommodations with a well stocked kitchen! Comfortable, homey and well furnished. An absolute pleasure!" - "We didn't want to go home this house was so relaxing, it made the trip for us! Everything was beyond our expectations and it was the perfect place to come back to after a day of mountain biking. We appreciated the luxurious detail the hosts had given throughout the house; from the kitchen amenities, the crockpot that we forgot to bring, to the beautiful cookware that we enjoyed making dinner with, you can tell the hosts have gone above and beyond. This does not feel like your average VRBO. The washer and dryer are a big help after the trails as is the hose outside to wash the bikes. The game room upstairs was full stocked with board games, a packman arcade system, and books to read if you just wanted to sit out on the covered deck with the outdoor fireplace to relax. The decor reflects the beautiful scenery. Birch trees, pines, and rocks are outside every window. Check in and check out was seamless and the hosts were very responsive. Location is very close to the KT mountain bike trailheads and Burke Mountain ski resort, we were just as excited to come back from a long day and relax as we were to hike and bike. Can't wait to come back!"

With rustic charm, the new custom-built "Darling A" was crafted with material from an 1800s barn and locally harvested cedar from our property. Expansive windows throughout the cabin provide sunshine throughout the day and offer a glimpse of Burke Mountain, forest, and wildlife.
Inside, this cozy retreat has three levels connected by a spiral staircase. There are two unique sleeping spaces - the open loft has a king-size bed while the first floor bedroom has large picture windows and a queen-size bed. The loft has access to a roofdeck that overlooks sunset. There is a full spa-like bathroom on the main level with a large shower and a half bathroom downstairs. The main floor is an open floor plan with a kitchen equipped with a top of the line Z-line stove and a living room with a wood stove and vintage stereo system. Downstairs offers endless entertainment with a 1980's jukebox with original 45s, a 1960s foosball table (Real Madrid vs Barcelona), Smart TV, and a Pacman and Galaga arcade game.
The spiral staircase is open from the main floor and is necessary to access the basement and the loft. Please take this into consideration when booking your stay.

Daniel's Pond is a hidden gem and this immaculate cottage has 119 FIVE STAR REVIEWS!!!

Our fully appointed cottage sleeps 2-6 people, with 100 feet of private shoreline, only a few steps from the door. Designed for a couple, small friend group, or family with older children (over 12 years old). It has easy one-level living with a bedroom (queen) on the main floor and two separate sleeping spaces (1 queen and 2 twin beds) upstairs in the loft. The open floor plan has sweeping views of the water and mountains at every turn, exposed wood beams, cathedral ceiling, and loads of natural light. We have a professional well for drinking water. Privacy is yours with a 12 ft tall hedge and fencing to create a natural barrier, located on a dead-end road, and the adjacent cottages more than 100 feet away. Enjoy time on the water using our canoe and rowboat. The level yard is great for lounging or lull yourself to sleep while relaxing in the hammock. Enjoy meals outside on the picnic table and grilling on the Weber gas grill.

Daniels Pond is a little slice of heaven with pristine "quiet water" (no large motors or jet skis allowed) and only 20 waterfront cottages. Soak up the peace and tranquility! You are looking at our Burke Mountain getaway. This house was newly built a couple of years ago and features a bunkroom downstairs that can sleep 7, a bedroom upstairs that can sleep 4, and a loft that can sleep 3. There are 2 3/4 bathrooms, one one each floor. There is also a great room that is attached to a large deck that overlooks the large fielded backyard that is surrounded by woods. There is a full kitchen as well as a grill on the deck. There is also a TV room downstairs with a DVD player. There is also broadband wifi. Outside there is a large field/hill that leads down to a fire pit area and pump track. Past the fire pit is a river that is deep enough for wading. There are some short hiking trails on the property and a small cabin further down the river. The property is 3/4 a mile from W. Darling Hill road and is a short pedal to the Kingdom Trail trail system.

- "We stayed here with two other families of 4, the place had plenty of beds for everyone and had plenty of room to spread out. The table fit everyone for large dinners and games in the evening. It was close to the Kingdom Trails, but also pretty secluded for privacy. The back yard was awesome with the fire pit and the stream behind the house. Was perfect for jumping in after biking all day. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would consider staying here again."

We are 2 minutes off I-91, 5 minutes from Kingdom Trails, and 10 minutes from Burke Mountain skiing and biking. There are several excellent restaurants within a few miles and delivery service is available.
