This first story 1500 sq ft apartment is convenient to downtown Waterbury and is walking distance to several great restaurants and bars. The home is only a minute off the highway 89, a few minutes to Ben and Jerrys and 15 minutes to Stowe and Waitsfield. There is plenty of off street parking.

- "My three friends and I had such an enjoyable time. We were a bit anxious when we read the reviews from May and June, but I called the property manager, Nevin and true to his word, the house was very clean! It appears there is some remodeling taking place between guests, so that may explain the former complaints. The location is perfectly located and we could walk to several excellent dining venues and the front porch was a great place to start and end our day chatting. We had 2 issues that, while not earth shattering, was inconvenient. The bedroom with 2 twins did not have any cable cords running from the tv so it obviously didn't work. Also, the Keurig is broken and leaks out the top when trying to make coffee. We managed, but we did end up with grounds in our cups. I called Nevin, the property manager and advised him but if you are staying there and either of these are important, I'd recommend calling to be sure it has been addressed. Otherwise, we had a great time, loved the place and will book it again if we return to Waterbury!"

- "Jim was a wonderful and gracious host. He greeted us on check-in and showed us around and was readily available to answer questions. Property was great and perfect sized for our family of 5. Loved the towel warmer in the master bath. Only thing I didn't realize is that the two apartments aren't side-by-side, but the upstairs apartments living room is over the master, which was hard on Dad who is a light sleeper when they walked around. Garage is standard 20x20 where the charger is so if you have a larger vehicle it might not fit in with door closed. We had to take the bike hitch off our Tesla Y. Otherwise great property and will likely be back. Great easily location. First 25 ft of road were a little intimidating, but rest of it was very well maintained. Thanks so much Jim!"

- "Such a cozy little spot. Minutes away from town and the perfect driving distance from Stowe and Burlington! This was our first time exploring Vermont (as adults) and this made the perfect homebase. Definitely bookmarking for the next visit - and our dogs felt right at home!" - "My husband and I stayed at this 1 bedroom apartment in Duxbury. This apartment is above the garage, in which you need to take stairs up to the bedroom. The full kitchen and bathroom are downstairs. The upstairs roof is a little low at times, in which I hit me head several times (most likely you would probably learn from your first few times to be a bit more careful but I sadly did not). Our room was comfortable and the apartment was very clean. The space is perfect for 2 people. It was easy to find, based on the instructions. But the owner does have 2 large dogs and we heard them barking every time we would either leave of arrive at the apartment. We would also heard them when the owners would come home, as they were excited to greet them. This wasn't an issue for us since we have a dog and the noise doesn't really bother us. But just wanted to make mention for others. Overall, this was a nice stay and would consider staying at this home again if I was to visit Vermont again."

The space:
Inside our fully log cabin you will find a first floor bedroom with 1 queen bed and a small workspace with a desk, a loft with 2 twin beds accessible via ladder, 1 full bathroom, a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and utensils, a small dining area that seats 4, and a living area with a loveseat sofa, bench and a Roku TV with guest mode where you can easily and temporarily sign-in to all of your personal streaming services. If you have a small child we do have a pack and play available in the laundry room at all times. We also have a ladder guard available to prevent climbing of the loft ladder and can set it up prior to your arrival with notice (it is always available in the utility room). There is also a spacious front porch that spans the front of the cabin, facing into the clearing and featuring tables and seating.

A large fire pit area is carved into the side of the hill in front of the cabin with a 4ft diameter fire pit and rustic log seating. Cut firewood, kindling, paper and a lighter are complimentary and are available in a basket on the front porch.

A gas barbecue grill is available for guests outside. Gas and BBQ tools are included.

Heat and AC are provided through 2 mini split pumps - one in the living area and the other in the main bedroom. They can be adjusted via the wall mounted controllers for your comfort.

A washer and dryer are available for guests in the utility room as well as an iron/ironing board and hair dryer. Free and clear detergent is available.

2 Pairs of adult snowshoes are available for your use during your stay during the winter months.

A drip coffee maker is available along with complimentary packets of coffee grounds and tea bags.

All bed sheets are 100% cotton. Towels are provided for guests. Liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available in the bathroom as well as rolls of toilet paper. Liquid dish soap, a new sponge, and a couple of rolls of paper towel are available in the kitchen.

We have a strict no pets policy. Please refer to our house rules for more information.

Guest access:
You will have access to the cabin via keypad. A door code will be provided prior to your arrival. There is also a Ring video doorbell located next to the front door for security and communication. Ringing the doorbell will call me directly. You will have the entire cabin to yourselves as well as the 10 acre property. Guests are welcome to walk through the back woods where trails are currently being cut.

Other things to note:
To access the house, you will need to drive up a dirt road. During the winter months when there is snow on the ground or in early spring when it can be muddy, it is highly recommended to have a vehicle equipped with AWD/4WD and/or snow tires to ensure a safe and hassle-free arrival.

The space
Inside our fully log cabin you will find a bedroom with 1 queen bed and a small workspace with a desk, 1 full bathroom, a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and utensils, a small dining area, and a living area with a loveseat sofa and a Roku TV with guest mode where you can easily and temporarily sign-in to all of your personal streaming services. If you have a baby we do have a pack and play available in the laundry room at all times. There is also a screened-in front porch at the front of the cabin featuring tables and seating.

Heat and AC are provided through 2 mini split pump heads - one in the living area and the other in the main bedroom. They can be adjusted via the wall mounted controllers for your comfort.

A washer and dryer are available for guests in the hall as well as an iron/ironing board and hair dryer. Free and clear detergent is available.

A drip coffee maker is available along with complimentary packets of coffee grounds and tea bags.

All bed sheets are 100% cotton. Towels are provided for guests. Liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available in the bathroom as well as rolls of toilet paper. Liquid dish soap, a new sponge, and a paper towels are available in the kitchen.

We have a strict no pets policy. Please refer to our house rules for more information.

Guest access
You will have access to the cabin via keypad. A door code will be provided prior to your arrival. There is also a Ring video doorbell located next to the front door for security and communication. Ringing the doorbell will call me directly. You will have the entire cabin to yourselves. Guests are welcome to walk through the back woods where trails are currently being cut.

Other things to note
To access the house, you will need to drive up a dirt road. During the winter months when there is snow on the ground or in early spring when it can be muddy, it is highly recommended to have a vehicle equipped with AWD/4WD and/or snow tires to ensure a safe and hassle-free arrival.

This well-lit basement apartment has several windows and a sliding glass door adjacent to a porch with a mountain view. The entrance way leads to the dining area which opens up to the living and the kitchen areas. Enjoy a full bathroom, spacious bedroom, pantry and two large closets.

The guest parking area is the area to the right of the garage. It is adjacent to a solar lit path which leads down a stairway to the entrance of the apartment.

Other things to note
This apartment does not say pet friendly as we have had some issues in the past. That being said, we may make exceptions for dogs depending on the age and breed. On a different note, the noise level may be bothersome as the apartment is situated below our main living area and the bedroom is adjacent to the furnace room. Also we are a family of 3 with 2 dogs.

A friend once referred to our town as Mayberry. It's definitely a small town where people look out for each other.

In the heart of the village, walking distance from local restaurants, brewery's, and shops as well as mountain bike trails. 5 mi from a beach where you can rent canoes/kayaks/paddle boards. Enjoy the slopes, hiking, Ben and Jerry's, local brewery's, or the Vt. landscape, settle in with a warm jacuzzi tub. At the end of the day cozy up on a king sized bed watching Netflix's.

The space
Please let us know a little bit about your trip and when you plan to check in. This is not a handicap-accessible space. We have an air mattress stored in the bedroom closet and a foldout bean bag fluffy mattress and a couch in the living room to accommodate 4 guests overnight. Please note that this rental is a mother-in-law apartment located above a garage that has its own private entrance, which is also connected to the owner’s living space on the other side of the curtain in the entryway and divided by a door that is locked on both sides for privacy. Our property allows for two cars to comfortably park in the main driveway, and deep enough to fit three cars. Also, overnight parking on the street is free and permitted depending on the season. Our back deck is a private space.

Guests have access to the apartment space as a whole. The apartment comes with some entertainment: board games, Firestick TV, a Fusball table, a DVD player with a DVD library, and books.

Other things to note
The kitchen has a gas stove/oven and is fully stocked with all the necessary cookware, seasonings, teas, coffee, coffee maker, full fridge with freezer, a microwave, and a toaster. The apartment only lists one queen size bed, but we have an air mattress and the bean bag in the living room unzips into a full-size fluffy mattress. There is spare bedding in the bedroom closet on the top shelf and in the gray storage container. Most of our windows do not have screens. If it's necessary to open a window, please find portable screen inserts in the closet, cabinet, or nearby windows that do not have embedded screens.

Room for two in the heart of Central Vermont, Waterbury. A simple but nice single room on the ground floor of an historic house a 5-minute walk to downtown. There is a private 1/2 bathroom with toilet, and only an outdoor shower. There is no kitchen or cooking facilities, so this is an inexpensive crash pad for a lovely visit to Vermont. The yard is on a brook with a deck overhanging the water with a fire pit. There is also an electric car charger available. The owner lives upstairs.

You’ll get a private guest suite in our house with a private entrance and private en suite bathroom. You have access to our backyard which has a large hill and wonderful mountain views at the top.

There's a lovely private deck to hang out on and enjoy the surrounding hills. Depending on the season, there are occasional opportunities to enjoy a moon or sun set, fall foliage, birdsong, and even a Spring frog chorus. It's even nice to sit out on the deck during sunny winter days and enjoy a snowy landscape.

Take it easy at this cozy studio which is nestled in the hills of the beautiful Duxbury Vermont. Offered year round so that our guests can enjoy all that Vermont has to offer such as nearby skiing, changing leaves, hiking and so much more! Guests will enjoy their own private space with access to many amenities such as a full kitchen, private entrance, a queen bed, free WIFI and so much more! So grab a mug and sit back and relax next to the gas fireplace! You will want to return every season!

The space
Guests have access to the entire unit which has two levels. As you walk in you will see an entry way with stairs leading up to the studio. The first level offers access to the washer and dryer. Take the stairs up to the second level and you will find your living space complete with a full kitchen and full bath and a living room/bedroom combo. Guests will be provided a code to enter the unit before check in.

The studio was built using custom rough cut lumber that was milled from trees on our property. We have a circular saw mill which has been family owned and operated since the 70's and it still produces rough cut lumber today through our family owned business. The studio is located above our two car garage, which is located next to our house.

Our property is conveniently located in the heart of Central Vermont. We are 5 miles away from Waterbury Village where you can find many restaurants such as the famous Hen Of The Wood, The Reservoir, The Pro Pig, Thai Smile and more. Waterbury is becoming very popular among tourists you will find some boutique shopping and small locally owned shops to explore. We also have two grocery stores. When you're in the Town of Waterbury you can also hop onto interstate 89 and head north towards Burlington. We are 31 miles away from Burlington VT or the closest airport which is called Burlington International Airport (BTV). You can also drive 14 miles south on the interstate towards Montpelier VT which is the state capital. We are located along scenic route 100, if you drive 16 miles south you will notice some more popular towns, Moretown, Waitsfield & Warren. Sugarbush Resort which is in Warren VT is 15 miles Route 100 South. Killington Resort which is in Killington VT is 58 miles Route 100 South. Stowe Mountain Resort which is in Stowe VT is 20 Miles Route 100 North. Bolton Valley which is a smaller mountain but offers night skiing is 16 Miles Route 100 N to Route 2 West. Vermont is not only known for the ski resorts but also in the summer time Vermont is well known for it's large network of Mountain Bike/Fat Bike trails. Nearby, you can find Perry Hill in Waterbury, Cady Hill in Stowe. Our ski resorts have some awesome down hill mountain bike trails if you want to be even more adventurous. Go outside and have fun!

We live down a dirt road on 11 1/2 acres (backed up to the Long Trail), a 5 minute walk away from rock climbing and kayaking/canoeing, 25 minutes from Burlington and Stowe and minutes away from fantastic restaurants in Richmond and Waterbury. We are equip for families and there is a bird farm just down the hill.

We have two Bedrooms with 1 Queen Bed and 1 Futon (in the climbing wall room), a huge living area (where more people could sleep), and bathroom. This is the bottom floor of our house with its own entryway. Airbnb does not let me list 2 bedrooms in a shared space.

There is a kitchen upstairs, you have a private entrance, bathroom, and refrigerator downstairs with tea and coffee. I won't be around much and love welcoming people to Vermont!!

Our home sits in the heart of the historic Waterbury village. It is a Victorian, full of historical charm and warm light. We live right off of interstate 89, exit 10, the crossroads between Sugarbush Valley, Stowe, Montpelier, and Burlington. Outdoor entertainment is accessible in all these areas.

Inside our fully log cabin you will find a bedroom with 1 queen bed and a small workspace with a desk, 1 full bathroom, a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and utensils, a small dining area, and a living area with a loveseat sofa and a Roku TV with guest mode where you can easily and temporarily sign-in to all of your personal streaming services. If you have a baby we do have a pack and play available in the laundry room at all times (crib bedding is not included). There is also a screened-in front porch at the front of the cabin featuring tables and seating.

Heat and AC are provided through 2 mini split pump heads - one in the living area and the other in the main bedroom. They can be adjusted via the wall mounted controllers for your comfort.

A washer and dryer are available for guests in the hall as well as an iron/ironing board and hair dryer. Free and clear detergent is available.

A drip coffee maker is available along with complimentary packets of coffee grounds and tea bags.

1860's shabby chic farm house. Family oriented as we have two kids and are listing it only while we are out of town. Right in Waterbury Village, a 3 minute walk from Pro-Pig, Hen of the Woods, Freak Folk Bier, the Reservoir Pub etc. 10 minute bike ride to Perry Hill. 25 minutes drive to Stowe Resort or Sugarbush, and 10 minutes to Little River Campground and the Reservoir. We have 2 sweet cats who come with the house.

Ski Season is here and the latest report is that we may be getting snow! Located near Stowe, Ben and Jerry's , Burlington. Well-behaved dogs welcomed! One queen bed, air mattress available. Best for couples, three people is ok, four is tight but do-able. Hot water, microwave, Keurig , small refrigerator. NO AC (fans provided) TV (requires you to use your own log in, no cable TV.) Great WIFI. Bathroom is very clean with new toilet, new shower and antique sink. Cozy glamping!

Get away to a quiet space in the woods while staying close to town. A five minute drive gets you to the grocery store, gas station, restaurants and fantastic breweries. This home has unique access to the Perry Hill bike trails and in the winter is within a half an hour of three different ski mountains. The home is a 15 minute drive to Stowe or 30 minutes to Burlington.

**During winter it is recommended you travel in an all-wheel vehicle as the home is located on a private unpaved driveway.**

The space
Enjoy a private home with a wrap around porch with views of Camels Hump. This home provides a cozy space including Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and a large sectional couch to lounge on. There is radiant heat throughout the home controlled by a thermostat next to the mudroom closet.

You will find an abundance of natural light throughout the day and the perfect sunset view in the evening.

Stepping outside the front door you will find easy access to the Perry Hill bike trails located on the property and leading into the Putnam State Forrest. Hiking, biking or if you are just looking to enjoy a walk in the woods. Camels Hump, The Pinnacle and Hunger Mountain are all within a 10-20 minute drive. Ben and Jerry’s and Cold Hollow Cider Mill are 5 minutes down the road as well.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire main floor of the home. There is two steps to get onto the porch and enter through the front door. No other stair climbing is required.

Please refrain from using or going into the unfinished walkout basement. This is a private storage space.

Other things to note
If you are visiting during winter it is recommended you travel in an all-wheel drive vehicle with either snow or all season tires. Although the driveway is well maintained, sanded when needed and plowed Vermonts weather can be unpredictable. In the spring you can expect mud, in the winter you can expect snow and ice. The home is located on a private dirt driveway shared by other homes.

There are security cameras on the exterior of the home only.

Although we cannot accommodate furry friends at this time, it is of note for those with allergies there are two dogs (one that is hypoallergenic) that call this house their home when it is not being rented.

The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cookware to prepare and store home cooked meals using it's brand new appliances. Enjoy your mornings with our complementary coffee that can be brewed from the Keurig machine.

When you're ready to settle in for the night our luxurious Queen sized beds will quickly put you at ease. And you’ll be playing “paper, rock, scissors” for who gets the master with the cozy electric fireplace! For those travelers coming with extra guests or are expecting guests, the living room sofa hides a queen size pull out with an inviting memory foam layer to ensure an amazing night's sleep.

Our space is in a 5 unit apartment building that (like most homes in our historic village) was built in the 1900's. So while our space is modern and newly remodeled, you still may here other tenants from time to time. We live in the building next door and have great relationships with all of our tenants, we all are excited to be able to share our quaint little village we call home with you!

Parking:
While parking is on the street, it is very common to be able to park directly in front of the building or on the side of the building on Hill Street allowing easy access to our space.

The cottage is a 1 bedroom loft, open floor plan with a queen size bed. The downstairs has a full kitchen, bathroom, pull out small couch and gas fireplace. We are located within walking distance to amazing downtown shops and restaurants.

The space
Our cozy cottage is detached from our house. It has an open floor plan with a gas fireplace. You can hear the sound of Thatcher Brook behind the house. It is conveniently located within walking distance to our great downtown restaurants and village shopping. Mountain bike trails are easily accessible, and we are located 30 minutes from Stowe and Sugarbush resorts.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cottage and small back deck. There will be one parking space available, adjacent to the cottage. There is room for small children and there is a pack in play in the upstairs closet.
