- "We are regular travelers renting homes throughout the east coast and would rate Dean’s Lakehouse as a true treasure. Almost at the end of a quiet dead-end road overlooking Lake Cochituate, this house is the perfect retreat for a peaceful quiet getaway. It is one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The Lake House was a spotlessly clean, well-updated home that had everything we needed to feel at home. This house features a game room with an old-school shuffleboard table, bubble table hockey game, and vintage hole-in-one gold video console game, all surrounded by great movie posters (Caddy Shack and Slap Shot, among others) and vintage ad plaques on the walls. Nature walking paths abound around Lake Cochituate to enjoy. Also close by are all several supermarkets to stock up and many restaurants to choose from, not to mention only about 30-40 minutes to downtown Boston. Dean is an excellent host who made himself immediately available if we had any questions or needed anything. We would highly recommend this wonderful lakeside retreat. Just a 6 minute walk to great restaurants and shops available to enjoy in Wellesley center. 2 minutes from the house there is a lovely 2 mile loop around Lake Waban ideal for runners. The Commuter Rail Train from Wellesley to Boston is a smooth 35 minute train ride, and brings you to South Station from which you can walk to most of Boston’s attractions.

Hosts were great to deal with and would stay here again if we are every back in the area." - "We stayed here with an extended family group for four nights to support a runner in the Boston Marathon. It was perfect for our needs. The house (really a duplex but the other side was not occupied until its owners stopped by as we were checking out) was incredibly spacious, much bigger than we thought from the listing. We had room to spread out, sleep, eat, work, visit with one another, everything we look for in a family gathering. spot The neighborhood includes some apartments nearby, but we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable, and it was very quiet. There isn't any street parking but if you park on the street for awhile (others were doing this) it doesn't seem to be a high priority to enforce. Great for the marathon, which passes through Framingham about a 10 minute walk from the house. The MBTA train line is about a 15 minute walk, maybe a mile away. Downtown Boston is a half hour's drive away at full speed, sometimes longer when there's traffic but only about 20 miles. We didn't need much support because the place was modern and in great shape, but the host responded immediately to the few questions we did ask, and was nice to extend the checkout time when one of our party needed to finish a work call the last day. I highly recommend this place."

The serene home is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood overlooking the wooded conservation land along the Charles River. Less than 10 minutes away from Wellesley College and fine dining in Wellesley town center, where the commuter rail takes you directly to Boston South Station.

The place features large open kitchen, plenty of living room and sun room spaces walking out to a private pond, a large wood deck and a brick patio with grill.

All rooms have large windows, ceiling to floor, presenting the immersive view of nature, yet with privacy.

Guest is welcome to use all unlocked areas of the house, the brick patio, the deck etc. Garage, basement and the 3rd bedroom are locked and unoccupied - those areas are not part of the rental. Rollaway beds will be provided for the 5th and 6th guests. Netflix, Amazon videos are included. A whole shelf of children's book and several board games are available to entertain.

You will have the whole house and back yard to yourselves. Host will be available through text and mobile anytime before 11PM!

Entry is through digital smart lock. Passcode will be provided the day of your arrival. Security camera is on premise only covering outside entrance and the main drive way.

There are plenty of free private parking spaces available for guests.

Wellesley commuter rail station is only 10 min away with a Lyft ride for $10-15. From there, the train ride to Boston Downtown/South Station is about 35 minutes.

The space
You will have your own space and your own entrance. The space includes a large living space with kitchenette and one large bedroom. The foyer and walkway to the bathroom are in an area, which we may need to have access to. The refrigerator and utility sink are also located in this area. This area is not used unless tenant is notified in advance.

Kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven/air fryer and Keurig. There is no oven in this space. Refrigerator is in walkway to bathroom along with a utility sink.

Laundry is available for a small fee - please let us know in advance if this is something you need.

The three pups are sometimes in the back yard where you will enter. They are very friendly but respond well to a firm voice if they are too friendly.

You will have a separate entrance in the back of the home. You will go through a gate into the backyard with a locked entrance. Entrance is down 8-10 steps.

During your stay
We live in the home, but will respect your privacy. Here if you need us, gone if you want to be left alone.

You may encounter 3 very friendly golden retrievers occasionally in the back yard, but I have a separate yard for them as well.

Other things to note
Because of our very full pet life, we ask that you not have any pets in your space at any time. Overnight guests are your option, however, anyone that stays past 4 nights is considered a tenant and will be charged an add'l $25 per week.

This is an unfurnished home on a beautiful tree-lined cul-de-sac close to Memorial Beach and Natick High School. We are looking for a longer-term renter (3-6 months) who will provide their own furnishings (hence the lower monthly rate). The home boasts a fresh kitchen with granite counters; family, living, and dining rooms; and a master suite with a small private balcony. There is a walkout basement, a beautiful deck off the family room, and a large partially fenced backyard.

Charming walk-out ground level apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood. Conveniently located west of Boston with easy access to highways. Walkable to grocery store, pharmacy, banks and restaurants. Walk the nearby trail to Lake Cochituate and the Cochituate Rail Trail is less than 1 mile away. Natick Mall is 1.3 miles.

Our walk-out basement apartment is modern and cozy, furnished in a Scandinavian, rustic-modern style. Handicap accessible, radiant heat floor plus mini-split unit for additional heat or AC. The space includes a sitting area with TV, kitchenette, bath and bedroom. Sleeps two on a queen size bed plus a sleep sofa option.

Bright, open, private 900 sq foot loft space on Lake Cochituate. This is a mother-in-law suite attached to our lakeside home. This airy studio includes a queen bed, kitchen (no stove or oven) toaster,microwave,hot plate and George Foreman grill, skylit bathroom, living room with television and lakeview deck.

Guest access
Guests have private lakeview deck and access to nearby public walking trails to enjoy the surroundings. There is an easily accessible public beach 2 miles away, just across the lake. The backyard is reserved for family use only.

Our loft only accommodates two people .
Our bed is a queen size bed, and we prefer that no one sleeps in the sofa .
Both private entrances to the loft, have stairways, and neither one of them are gated. , therefore we don’t take a chance to have children in the loft.

Welcome to our home! It is a bright and open 3 bedroom, 2 bath walking distance to the playground, town center, and commuter rail. Our home features a sunny, open living space, an office/book corner, screened in outdoor eating area with wood stove, back yard, weber grill, and front porch. Perfect space for a family visiting the Boston area. It is less than a mile for the historic Boston Marathon Route!

The space
This is a lived in home with plenty of toys, books, linens, and towels. The first floor has the kitchen, dining area, couch, tv, office, and full bath. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and the linen closet with a twin aero bed if needed. We will clean out the fridge before you arrive, but feel free to use the basics in the pantry like spices, oil, vinegar, condiments, paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper.

Our backyard features a great space to both eat and play as we have a screed porch with a wood stove for chilly nights. There is enough green space to play catch, kick the soccer ball, or even hang out in the low access tree fort.

We are a NO SMOKING household. Please refrain from smoking/vaping both inside and outside on our property.

We are about a .5 mile walk to the local elementary school playground and a 1 mile walk to Natick Center. The town center features three coffee shops, a few gift stores, a local Italian and Mediterranean market, library and some delicious restaurants. You can also jump on the commuter rail for a 30 minute ride to enjoy the city of Boston.

Lastly, the town center is the 11 mile mark for the Boston marathon. You can walk or ride bikes to the center and see the inspiring runners run by all day long! Its one of the best days of the year!

Guests will have access to the entire first and second floor and all outdoor space! We only ask that the basement is off limits - we have to store our things :)

There is free parking for up to 4 cars.

We will leave the house unlocked for your arrival and ask that you lock the doors with the provided key when you leave throughout your stay. Please leave the key on the table when your stay has ended.

Central to so much, while away from the bustle. Walk to our charming town center and fantastic farmers market. Stroll to the T-station for a short ride to Boston. Watch or run the Boston marathon! Swim or boat at nearby Lake Cochichuate. Explore Wellesley and many other colleges of greater Boston. Stroll wooded trails or play in the park at the end of our street. Shop the Natick mall. Or just relax in a beautiful private back yard.

The space
Located off a quiet side street, you can walk to just about everything! Charming Natick Center with its classic New England gazebo is an easy two block walk to visit the Saturday farmer's market, or musical summer nights. Restaurants, coffee shops, library and the "T", are all easily walkable within a few blocks. There is also a large ball field at the end of our street, with 25 acres of woodland trails.

The house itself is a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house, with detached garage. Off-street parking can hold up to 4 cars. Beautiful private and fully fenced backyard with plantings, deck, patio, fire pit, and raised beds for herbs/vegetables.

The main floor is an open layout. Grand sized kitchen with island. Opens to dining room, and sitting room, with living room just beyond. Slider from kitchen to deck and beautiful backyard. Lot's of light!

All 4 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Master bedroom has a master bath, including soaking tub. Other rooms have access to a full guest bathroom on the 2nd floor as well. First floor has a 1/2 bathroom.

Air conditioning via window units (1 for the entire first floor, and individual units for each bedroom upstairs).

You have the entire house, yard, and driveway for parking.
We will be using the detached garage to lock and store things away, so you won't be able to get into the garage.

Your stay at Swan Manor offers all the comfort & modern amenities in a very private four room apartment on the second floor of our 1750 prerevolutionary historic home. The living room has a HD cable flat screet TV. There are many different genres of DVD's in the closet as well as in the DVD box next to the TV. The eat-in Kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven, Kuerig coffee maker, coffee pods, hot chocolate & tea etc. We also stock some snacks for our guests. The space is warm with separate thermostats for each room and it is furnished with some period antiques. There are extra blankets /quilts in the bedroom closet as well as extra pillows. Extra Linens & towels are in the bathroom closet. There are beautiful views of the river from the bedroom & living room windows. Enjoy S'mores over the patio fire pit & explore the river with our kayak or canoe. Our enhanced cleaning protocol assures a safe & healthy environment.

You have access to the entire apartment and In addition to the apartment, you are welcome to use the patio and the yard, as well as the kayak & canoe, provided your wear life jackets

PLEASE NOTE: We love animals & treat them as part of the family. Therefore if you are planning to bring a furry family member, there is an additional $50 per pet/night over & above the room charge that must be paid prior to check in. We will consider adjusting this fee for longer term stays.

We adhere to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. Beween guests we sanitize all high-touch areas; doorknobs, light switches, facets, handrails, handles, drawer pulls, appliances, etc, using cleaners & sanitizers aproved by global health experts. Each area is cleaned accoring to an extensive cleaning check-list & we provide extra cleaning supplies for or guests.

2 ~ You want us to knock on your door to introduce ourselves if we weren't here to greet you on arrival, and/or

Because we know that everyone prefers different levels of privacy, our policy is to never disrupt our guests by knocking on the apartment door and we will never enter your apartment during your stay, unless by request.
At the same time, we always try to accommodate requests for a later check-our time, as long as it doesn't disrupt an incoming guest. Therefore if you leave before check-out time, please send us a text so we can send the cleaners in early & accommodate guests requesting an earlier check-in.
