- "Great stat and good location!" - "Not worth the money at all . Originally this specific listing we unfortunately did not get , due to a “leak” the property had , host assigned us to a different listing which was a 1 bedroom our first one was a 2bedroom. Upon entering the apartments they looked run down and the area was not at all safe . There were homeless men walking around appeared to be on drugs , I also had my 1 year old son with me during all of this but I tried to push through and hope for the best . Entering the apartment the listing was decently clean ( dishwasher was gross) not many cups to serve drinks that we had bought ( we cook not eat out ) then we noticed there was no bedroom door . The listing she shared with us had a door & a different couch the one we got was not very comfortable. The bedroom door became a safety reason for me and I contacted the host and asked what solution could be done she ignored me the whole time . I contacted vrbo they said she was going to reach out and never did. The area was not safe enough to feel secure without a door . I expressed this there was a child in the apartment and if someone broke in we couldn’t even hide in a room .. host communication was poor ! "

This is a quiet, nice neighborhood. Most of the homes around have been remodeled in the last few years.

This is a nice and quiet neighborhood. We always respect our neighbors, and we expect our guests to do the same. Unreasonably loud guests may be asked to leave the property. Please treat our home and neighborhood as you would your own. The pool heat is an additional $150 per day with a 2 day minimum. It is not necessary to heat the pool from June 1st to October 1st. The pool can not be heated if the temperature is below 45 degrees at any time during your stay.

- "We have rented many short- and long-term places all over Dallas b/c we have two adult children living there who now have young children! Blake's place is our all time favorite! Spotlessly clean and well maintained, inside and out. Very spacious inside and out too with with multiple gathering areas and seating for several. Extra towels in bathrooms plus beach towels for pool. Decorated nicely but not with knickknacks so there was room to put your own things. While only 4 of us stayed overnight, there was plenty of room for grandbabies (and tired parents!) to take afternoon naps. Quiet, safe, walkable neighborhood with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Easy access and plenty of parking. Kitchen well equipped for making meals. We used to rent lake houses near Dallas for Labor Day Weekend with kids. This was our first time renting a pool house and Blake's house was absolutely perfect! We hope to use again next year! "

• This is a non-smoking home including the garage (including e-cigarettes / vaping). A $500 cleaning fee will be assessed to remove odor if this rule is broken. Smoking can only be done outdoors.

• The use of illegal drugs or the practice of any illegal activity on the property is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If this rule is broken, it will be reported to the authorities and you will be required to immediately vacate the property.

If you need something immediately, the property is only a quick 5-minute drive to the Preston Royal shopping center with a Starbucks, liquor store, grocery store, Shake Shack, gas station, dry cleaners, and pharmacy, among others.

The Guesthouse is centrally located: an Uber ride downtown takes 15 minutes and most places in Dallas are very easily accessible as we are less than 5 minutes from the major highways in Dallas. Only 10-15 minutes away from Love Field Airport and about 25 minutes to DFW!

The space
We have curated this space to feel like a luxury hotel. Ideal for business travelers, single guest or couples. We want you to feel at home but also respect our space as you would your own home. Our entire house has been retrofitted with a soft water system so when you shower and wash your hands you will notice your skin significantly softer.

Guests can always tell us what temperature they would like their room to be set at and we will make that happen through our app controlled system :)

You will enter through your own private entrance and will have a key to the room for the duration of your stay. Guests do not have access to the rest of the house, only the suite. The door leading to the rest of the house will be locked.

As we live on the property, you may see us from time to time in the backyard or you might hear us cooking in the kitchen or watching tv in the living room. We are generally very quiet and very respectful of our guests. If you are in need of something or have any questions during your stay we can be reached any time.

Other things to note
Absolutely no smoking inside the room and no parties. No outside visitors/guests. The pool is strictly off limits. Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.

Our gardeners/lawn man come every Monday morning somewhere between 9am-11am. They are usually here for 30 minutes.

Our pool guys come every Friday morning between 8am-10am. They are usually here for 15 minutes.
