- "This condo is very nice and in an excellent location in Dallas, TX. The unit is adequately furnished, and equipped well enough to meet our needs. Owner Rob was very nice about answering all of our questions prior to arrival. My only complaint would be with the cleaning company hired by the owner. The cleanliness of our unit was OK at best. Area rugs need cleaning. Additionally, the unit above us turned over twice during our stay so we were subjected to loud, vigorous banging, slamming, and scraping for about an hour each time the cleaning people came to prep the above unit. The location, size, and price of this rental were perfect. Especially loved the full size appliances. "

Our cottage is great for families or hanging out with friends or colleagues, equipped with a great kitchen for cooking or entertaining.

On the first level of our home, you will find a living room, dining room, kitchen with breakfast area, and one guest bedroom that spaciously accommodates a double bed and a twin bed. The adjacent bathroom has a marble walk-in shower and beautiful Carrera counters.

A staircase leads to the second level where there is a cozy reading nook, 2 bedrooms, and a marble bathroom and double sink vanity. The master bedroom has a king bed with a large walk-in closet and a large flatscreen tv. The second guest bedroom has a queen bed and a large closet. Fresh, new bedding throughout the home. We do have a mini Poodle (pure bred) who stays with us there when we stay at the house. She is hypo-allergenic and does not shed. The hosts are quite allergic to dogs, but have not had any allergic response to this dog. Our dog will not be there when you stay.

Our cozy and convenient house is a 5 minute drive from Northpark Mall, 8 minutes from Highland Park Village and 15-20 minutes from downtown Dallas. This is our full-time family home and we know your family will love it!

BEDROOMS: All four bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms with showers.

FIFTH BEDROOM/OFFICE: The fifth bedroom is currently an office; we can set it up for visitors for an additional fee. We have a full crib, a pack-and-play and air mattresses that can be set up for your use. You could also use the second monitor/desk setup in this room. We use this room for storage when guests come; setting it up for beds or work will incur an additional fee. Just message us and we can work something out!

OFFICE: There is a separate office with a desk and separate standing desk if someone in your group needs to work a full workday. Our internet is super fast throughout the house (400-500 mbps) and strong enough for multiple video conferencing.

BACKYARD: Our backyard has a ping pong table, putting green, fireplace, pool, hot tub, Green Egg and regular grill. It’s the best space to spend time outside. The pool can be heated and the hot tub can be turned on.

TVs: Two bedrooms have smart TVs, and there are three other smart TVs in the house, including the outdoor pool TV. We have Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount Plus, Disney Plus, Prime Video and Hulu. So far, NFL and college football games have all been available this year.

KITCHEN: We have a fully updated and fully stocked kitchen with a KitchenAid, blender, InstantPot, Wustof kitchen knives, and more. For coffee drinkers, there is a coffee grinder, kettle, french press and Nespresso machine. There are basic spices available in the pantry.

For holidays, family gatherings, or trips to visit kids at SMU, our house has everything you’ll need.

PETS: For dogs, we accept small, non-shedding dogs over one year old. We will consider additional pets if you are hosting a family gathering. Please message us to confirm your pet or we will have to cancel your booking.

HOLIDAYS: for holidays, you can host a family gathering here. Between our dining table and kitchen table, you can seat 16, and if you let us know ahead of time, we can have an extra table set up in the living room. You can send gifts to our house and we can wrap them for an extra fee. For Christmas, decorations will be set up including a Christmas tree. We have all the kitchen utensils you may need for a serious holiday dinner!

Ahead of your booking, we can provide the address and hold any Amazon packages you may want to send ahead of time.

There is room to park two cars in our driveway. We live in a family neighborhood and there will be absolutely no parties or loud gatherings. If we receive a noise complaint, we’ll have to ask you to leave early.

- "Honestly would stay again in a heartbeat, if I was in town for a shorter trip! I only had two complaints the entire time I was in the apartment (for just under a month) and one was that the wifi wasn’t exactly perfect so it made it a little hard to work from home in certain cases. The only other thing was that the washer and dryer are on property, not in unit - this was probably my own fault for not asking ahead of time but still threw me off regardless, based on the listing including them. As far as the positives, they far outweigh any negatives. The location is fantastic - could not be better. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean. Tons of storage! Felt super comfortable with my car being behind a locked gate. I’m also super picky about couches and beds - both fit the bill here. Armando was super responsive in general and really easy to get ahold of - I didn’t need much but I have no doubt he would be very efficient in solving any problems if they arose. If I come back for another weekend/week trip to Dallas, I would definitely stay here again."

Situated in a sought-after location, in a quiet neighborhood, with super comfy beds. It is 1/2 block from Katy Trail and within walking distance of burgeoning Knox/Travis' world-class shopping and dining—separate work area/sunroom. You will love my home and its spectacular location. Pet friendly! This is a downstairs duplex, one flat on top of another completely separate and private from one another.

- "The property was different than described and the pictures in the listing could be misleading. The listing describes an entire home but in reality the unit is a duplex where there are tenants staying above the listing as well as a back house that another family is staying. So there is a shared backyard between 3 different units which was very inconvenient . The walls in one of the bedrooms was extremely thin, so you could hear the people above you move around, have conversations, or hear the television going. Although the pictures look promising, the updates done to the home are very “landlord special” so to speak. Furthermore, I understand that the listing is dog friendly but there was absurd amount of dog hair in the rugs around the home. The vehicle parking was frustrating as individuals could not park in the driveway due to people coming and going from the back house on the lot and parking in the street only allows for one vehicle due to the tenants staying in the top duplex. Overall the experience was OK as we weren’t there most of the time but to just sleep but as stated before you could hear the tenants above you move around as well as their pets. The host was able to meet most of our accommodations and seemed to respond to messages in a sensible amount of time. "
