You feel secluded while being only 5 minutes from Interstate 20. We are 15 minutes from Barber Motorsport Park, 15 minutes from Talladega, and 30 minutes from downtown Birmingham.
There is enough space for everyone inside and 9 acres of space outside. The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space.

The lake house is a rustic lodge type house that is perfect for fishermen and families who want to enjoy Lake Logan Martin. The House has a large screened in porch and pier. The house has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, fireplace, sunroom and large screened-in porch. The beds consist of two king, one queen, 1 full and one set of bunk beds with a full on the bottom and twin on top plus a trundle bed in the livingroom. Completely furnished with central air-conditioning, dishwasher, stove microwave, coffee pot, cookware, charcoal grill, television with cable, DVD player, and outside stereo. To keep cost down we ask guest to bring Linens and towels.

Pontoon boats are available to rent at Poorhouse Mariana. Do not use my neighbors boat ramp or ask them. We do not have a boat ramp. Poorhouse marina is 2 miles from house by road and water. Please keep off of grass after heavy rains with cars and trucks. Please do not park or drive between house and lake. Thank You

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:

The space is comprised of 3 bedrooms and a loft with 2 twin beds. The 1st downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The second downstairs bedroom has a full bed and 2 twin trundle bed. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bedroom and a private bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with smart tv’s. The kitchen is fully furnished with all standard cooking utensils, coffee maker, keurig maker, stove, dishwasher. Just outside the porch is a screened in porch. The boat dock has a 22ft boat slip with lift and a ride on jet ski slip.

My friends and I took that from as we could be out before 11am which we were. We were outside and all belongings in our cars as of 10:40am when I received a phone call stating that the cleaning crew (one old man that was sitting in a pick up truck) was waiting on us. We were standing outside by our cars as they were warming up. Nothing was preventing him from doing his job and I didn't care for the phone call telling me to get out when we were out. The driveway is so steep that it is seriously a hazard for anyone. I mentioned this to the guy that called me as I didn't see anything on the listing and he sternly stated it was there. There were 4 of us that were looking to finally find it under parking when it should be in the main description. This driveway is seriously a concern for anyone that has issues walking or in a wheelchair as you'll end up in the lake! The house was nice and cozy overall and for the most part, I would call it "guy" clean. I didn't care for the phone call and no call back but it is what it is. I don't think the neighbors care for this property to be a VBRO by the looks that were given. Fun was had overall abd its a very cute house!"

Relax with the whole family in the cozy mobile home. One bedroom with a queen size bed, with all the linens and a 50 inch TV. The other bedroom has a twin over a full over a queen bunk bed and a pull out couch bed, with all the linens, led lights for a fun vibe and a 43 inch TV. The living room is equipped with a large L shaped couch that also pulls out to a bed and a 55inch TV. The restroom provides towels, soaps, shampoos and conditioner. The kitchen has all essentials from cooking utensils to a Keurig, also a waffle maker, mixer, toaster and a few other small appliances. Out side there is a screened in room with a fire pit and two sofas to relax with the woods. You are far enough away to enjoy the quite and tranquility of a small river but close enough to get to Walmart in about 8 minutes. Come have fun at our peaceful property.

We are ready! Are you? Spacious two bedroom (three twins beds, one full, and a queen bed) and two bathroom home on five acres, near Logan Martin and Talladega. Large area for hosting a cookout. Also, there is a full length front porch and screened back porch to relax and curl up with a good book. There is an electrical outlet on both porches and one electrical outlet on the outside of the back porch (can charge boats). We have recently added a rolling pier. Enjoy a short trek to the water and maybe catch fish for supper.

- "We loved the property" - "We stayed at this lovely home for over a month, and it was overall a great place to stay. The house is exactly as the pictures in the listing show. It has room for many people, so it comfortably fit 3 of us. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. The bathrooms and bedrooms are too with plenty of towels, toilet paper, blankets, pillows, etc. The back porch was one of our favorite spots, it is enclosed and has a swing where you can enjoy being outdoors without bugs and the hot sun. The driveway and yard are large and well kept, the grass was cut and kept up during our stay. The lake is a short walk away. There is a dirt road behind the house that takes you down to the lake and the small dock is lovely if you want to fish or just sit and enjoy the view. The property manager always responded quickly to any of our concerns, and they were great to communicate with. We loved our stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer."

The start of this project was a box off a u haul truck. Now it is a cozy tiny home where animals come right up to the deck and you can enjoy sunsets over the pond. We love to have this place where families can come out and get away from the rat race of life and enjoy being out in nature. Guests are welcome to join us for whatever activities we are doing during your stay whether it’s working in the garden or caring for the animals.

The space
The yee-haul is one of three airbnb's on our 15 acre family farm. The Getaway is the closest other airbnb which is located about 80 ft across the chert road. The yee-Haul is in front of the barn. Rest assured, you will have plenty of privacy. Since the yee haul was designed to eventually be completely off grid, it doesn't have all of the modern conveniences that we all have come to enjoy. While it has a tv and blu ray player, there is no cable or wifi available. So far guests have all had good cell phone signal. It has a large toaster oven and induction hot plate as well as a mini fridge. But the main thing that we dont want guests to be surprised by is that it has a composting toilet. It is super easy and clean to use but feel free to ask any questions if this is a completely foreign concept to you. Other than that, it has heat/air conditioning, hot water, and a shower. If anything is unclear please feel free to ask and we will be happy to clarify anything to make sure that if you decide to stay on our farm that it is a great experience for you and your family.

There is a parking spot right next to the yee haul for guests. Feel free to enter any animal area except the horses(just wait until we’re down there) just be sure to close and secure any gate and not let animals escape. If you would be more comfortable having us show you around and introducing you to all of the animals just let us know.

In the small red building are life vests and paddles if you want to enjoy the pond. The swimming pool is located at the top of the hill by our house.
