The room is on the 3rd floor at the front of the house. It is about 225 sq ft. It has two large windows from which you can see the skyline lit up at night. The furniture is eclectic in style. It has a full-size bed with a nightstand on either side, a firm mattress, four pillows and a quilt, desk a chair and a small glass table sits between two wicker, chairs . A three story brick and mortar townhouse, circa 1890.Vintage ceramic tile is found on the vestibule walls as you enter the house, and also fitted in the mantel , which is framed in a decorative wood pattern in the centre of the main room. This room has several functions: studio, gallery, library and living-room. Original art work is shown through out the house. Plenty of interesting books.

Guest access
You are welcome to make use of the gym room. It has an elliptical, ballet bar, free weights and mats.

You are also welcome to use the garden and back deck to eat, have a wine or a coffee, read or just relax.

During your stay
As a result of Covid, I no longer prepare breakfast food for guests, so I don’t spend as much time as I used to.
But this is my home and my work space so most of the time I am available throughout the stay.
Food is not permitted in the bedrooms.
You may use the dinning table, or kitchen counter or take your meal , out doors on the deck or down in the garden
The stove is not available for cooking you may use the microwave and or tosater oven.

Guest room & bathroom are up one flight from the ground floor, the spiral staircase is steep and narrow - it has lots of historic charm & character, but could be difficult for people with physical limitations. Home is not safe for small children (older kids/teens are welcome.)

Bathroom is just outside the bedroom. It has a shower, no bathtub. Soaps, shampoo, towels and other bathroom amenities are provided. Bedroom is approximately 12' x 12' ( 144 sf, 13.378 sq. meters.) American full sized bed - (54" x 75", 134.5 x 190.5cm). A weighted blanket, extra pillows, blankets and towels available.

You will be given a keypad combination so you can come & go as you please. You will have full access to the kitchen/dining area. Tea, coffee and filtered water are available any time.

Fresh coffee is ground every morning. I wake up early. If you're a light sleeper & like to sleep in, the sound of grinding coffee (or the aroma of fresh brewing coffee) might wake you up. There is a white noise machine for your use.

Fast WiFi throughout the house. There is no television.

Public transportation options: Philadelphia has a robust bus system that can be taken advantage of with stops just steps away from our home.
