Cozy and charming 2 bedroom historic cream city brick workers cottage built in 1881. A certified Century Building by the Racine Historical Society with original Italianate windows, central air, WiFi and a full kitchen. Two blocks to the beach and 20 minute lakefront walk into downtown for coffee, restaurants and shopping. Pets allowed. Fully fenced in yard. Enjoy coffee and Racine’s famous Danish Kringle on the front porch. A walk along one of America’s great lakes is a must see.

- "4.5 stars rounded up to 5 for the purposes of this site. We came here with our two children, one 5yo and one baby. The location was great, we even found an amazing huge park about a 20 minute walk away in addition to the smaller park 5 minutes away. The cottage was so charming. Beach was close by and not super busy. There is a small crib provided but our baby didn't like it and preferred the one we brought. It is an older house and we had trouble getting the bedroom doors to latch without a lot of loud jiggling, which can be annoying when you are trying not to wake kids. Overall it was a lovely stay and we hope to be back."

The bedrooms were relatively spacious and the living areas very comfortable. The open concept and numerous windows provided lots of light. This unit is located on the first floor of a beautiful Tudor house built in 1931, it has two bedrooms and 1 full bath and is fully equipped with all your needs for a relaxing stay in the city of Racine. So many things to do within walking distance, the beautiful beaches, the Racine Zoo, public tennis and basketball courts. A nearby grocery store , blue bear and O&H bakery, a newly opened Culver’s and Starbucks a short drive away. Downtown Racine is also a short walk, bike ride or drive, which has many options for local shopping and restaurants. Wind point lighthouse is a favorite stop as well, or play 9 holes of golf at Shoop park golf course with beautiful views of Lake Michigan from several holes. If you are a boat enthusiast, There are several marinas nearby and our local Racine yacht club. Or Try out a fishing charter while you are here.
Back at the unit, Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch while the sun rises and watch life go by in this beautiful north side neighborhood.

Enjoy a private entrance in a quiet Caledonia neighborhood. The loft and laundry area are both accessible from inside of the garage. Both the loft and the exterior garage access door have digital locks for your security. The loft can sleep up to four with a with a queen-sized bed, plus two twin-sized air mattresses with bedding. There is a food-prep/bar area with seating for two, which has a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker with complimentary coffee. For your convenience, utensils, mugs, glasses, dishes, and a small refrigerator/freezer are provided as well. There is also a full bathroom and a dining area that seats four and opens up to a small balcony overlooking the back yard. Sorry, no pets are allowed.

The beach is about a 3 minute walk but we drove because we wanted to be further away from the areas with the most people. We also drove to the Racine Zoo, but you could easily walk there too - it's small but super cute. We didn't explore much else because of COVID-19, but we are excited to come back to see more of Racine sometime soon."

The loft and laundry room are both accessible from inside of the garage. Both the loft area and the exterior garage access door have digital locks for your security. The loft has a large sleeping area with a queen-size bed, plus two twin-size air mattresses with toppers in case more beds are needed. There is a kitchen bar area with seating for two, which has a microwave, toaster, and coffee-maker. For your convenience, utensils, mugs, glasses, dishes, a small refrigerator-freezer are provided as well.

The loft also has a full bath with tub and shower, a linen closet, and a clothes closet. Soaps, shampoo, extra blankets and linens are also on-hand. A small dining room table that seats four can be found in the dining area adjacent to the balcony that overlooks the back yard.

OR a gift for someone you love! Although not built into the trees, many of our guests refer to it as a treehouse experience for the ambience of nature but with all luxuries of modern life. So many lifelong memories have been made here - 40 couples engaged! two weddings, many honeymoons, anniversaries, elopements, babymoons, surprise birthdays and special getaways. And our guests love the complimentary homemade chai we offer(if we are home)! The space is part of, and yet private from, a split level home and has its own private entry and access. The space has one bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full kitchen, a bathroom with a stand up shower, a living area with sofa and chairs, a dining area with seating for 4 and a 70 in TV to stream Netflix. The bedroom has a queen bed, the sofa can sleep one and an extra queen floor mattress is available for additional guests. If you enjoy cooking, it has a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, pots and pans and a microwave. 4 guests can stay fairly comfortably with the queen bed and a queen air mattress. 5 could be a push but possible with the couch. We also have a playpen for babies. The ceiling height of around 7 ft provides a warm cozy atmosphere. Guests have an exclusive patio with a daybed and an outdoor chair, plus access to the upper common deck that houses a screened-in gazebo, and overlooking a creek. Next to it is a deck with outdoor sofas to rest and relax with a firepit. Guests can also use the common grill. Also, the artwork in the Airbnb is all done by us or our kids and we hope you enjoy them while here!

Step out of the apartment to enjoy an uninterrupted forest view with a creek and an immersive experience - what it feels like to live in the woods or in a Treehouse! Guests may be able to also enjoy the visible wildlife - from multiple species of birds if you leave your bedroom window open in the morning, or watch a slow tortoise complete the entire trail of the creek. And in winter, possible deer. Read a book on our beautiful patio, enjoy a meal in our screened in gazebo or a coffee on the bistro table! A great place for a quiet and amazing getaway!

As parents with kids that love to travel, our cleaning protocol is designed for a stress-free experience for our guests. And we want you to book with that confidence. The Airbnb is reserved only for booked guests. If you have visitors to meet, we ask meeting them at another location.

If you are working from home and taking a getaway to continue working while relaxing, we have recently installed a mesh wifi system so you can work both indoors and outdoors in the apartment or the patio and gazebo and our guests report "reliably getting around 30mbps". The Airbnb is also therefore, reliably set up to work from home!

The apartment has its own private entrance from the deck. It is private, meant only for the guest and has its own patio. Only the outdoor upper level deck and gazebo are shared spaces with the homeowner. However, you can request a private evening to use those areas just for yourself for an outdoor evening or a romantic meal in the gazebo! Also, the apartment has its own private entrance and you can self check-in with the lockbox just outside the entry door....And late arrivals are totally fine!

The forest and the creek feel like youre living in your own private cabin in the woods while enjoying all the comforts you need. We absolutely LOVE our home and believe it's the best kept secret in Racine!

No smoking in the Airbnb although you can smoke outside on the patio. Absolutely NO weed or pot on the premises.

We have a grill, a patio heater for the gazebo as well as a deck firepit. There is an additional cost of $15 per feature, only if you use them, in order to replace with a propane tank.

We do live in the upper three floors. And even though the backyard is secluded, there is potential of hearing our kids/us upstairs but we get them to bed around 9 pm so everything should be completely quiet after that.

Just steps away from Racine's nationally recognized North Beach, this cozy 1920s sunny home is designed and updated for modern living. With multiple outdoor spaces to relax and rejuvenate from outdoor sofas, loungers, a patio table and outdoor dining and firepit, it's really a gathering place. It is fully fenced in for privacy and for pets. Just a mile away from downtown Racine, a walk to Racine zoo and close to many other nearby attractions, and just about 3 miles away from Ascension Hospital. Cable TV and high-speed internet for work, an updated kitchen and living area, a large queen bedroom, a smaller queen platform bedroom with LED mood lighting, and a third bedroom with 3 twin bunk beds. The living room has a couch that can sleep one and a queen 18" air mattress available for two. Its a small house but can comfortably sleep 8-9, and if you use the couch, 10. Perfect if you're coming to Racine for a beach vacation with kids or an event with family and friends.

The outdoor area has a seating area with an outdoor sofa, plus a metal fire ring to gather together. It also has an outdoor deck and table under a tree that can seat 9-10 guests comfortably, with additional chairs.

This home although older, is newly designed to fully enjoy a day on the beach, a reunion in Racine, a girls or guys getaway, or a fishing charter and to return home for more rest and relaxation.

Read a book, enjoy a game, spend time at the beach, and make your vacation count! With multiple bars and restaurants all within walking distance, all offering carry-out or delivery, you can really be at ease! And pets are welcome - they are family! We just have an additional charge of $75 per stay for each pet to facilitate deep cleaning. They are not allowed on furniture and need to be potty-trained and should only go outside. There are three bedrooms in the house - two with queen beds, and one with a tri level bunkbed. In addition, a nice 18" tall blow-up mattress can be used in the living room.

House Rules.

No smoking is allowed in the house, and no weed on premises. As a disclosure, we do have cameras on the outside of the property. Must be 21 to book. Please leave sink clean. And although we allow pets, they are not allowed on furniture specifically on the sofa and beds. It is very hard for our cleaners to remove pet hair from beds. Violation of these rules like smoke/weed smell on departure will result in additional costs to the guest for professional cleaning.

The space
The home has many creature comforts while featuring the basics of a yesteryear farmhouse. You will have use of the entire house including the outdoor wood fired oven & fire pit nestled in a pine grotto. This is a convenient location close to places like Frank Lloyd Wright’s Wingspread & the SC Johnson administration building, the historic Wind Point Lighthouse, & the world class gourmet restaurant Sebastian’s. Just strolling around the farm watching the ducks, geese, chickens and rabbits is so relaxing. Catch the season right and you can pick some blueberries fresh off the bush. There is nothing better than fresh shiitake mushrooms on a wood fired pizza.

You can access the entire farmhouse and all the outdoor cooking facilities. You may access the entire farm after requesting a brief tour pointing out where plantings & animals are that may be sensitive to traffic.
We do have an active artists workshop on premise that can be toured upon request. The facility is currently utilized for metal sculpting & blacksmithing with some integration of wood and stone.

Other things to note
There is always firewood available for the oven, fire pit, and fireplace. We do not let any food scraps go to waste or into a garbage disposal so we ask you to put it any food scraps in the red canisters under the sink. If they are full please leave them outside on the Panda table.

Welcome aboard our cozy 29' sailboat "Clementine." You will love falling asleep to the gentle rocking of a boat and waking up to the sounds of seagulls while you sip your coffee on the deck. She is setup as a full time Airbnb in a slip at Reefpoint Marina which has amenities like a heated pool with two hot tubs, a ships store, laundry facilities, the delicious Reefpoint Brewhouse restaurant, and top notch shower facilities. Its a quick walk into town for shopping and even more restaurants.

The space
We care about the safety of our guests and are practicing safe hosting by offering a contactless check-in process. A couple of days before you arrive we will send you a video that walks you through the check-in process.
Clementine has beds to sleep 3, however we encourage no more than 2 guests unless there is a special circumstance (it's a great romantic getaway).
There is a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker aboard, however there is no oven or stove so guests are encouraged to plan on eating out. There is a restaurant 100 yards from the slip and many more delicious places to eat within walking distance of the marina.

There is a sink with hot/cold water and a flushing toilet on the boat. The marina has 3 very nice, clean shower facilities, two of which are less than 100 yards from the slip.
This is a stay aboard boat and guests will not be allowed to take the boat out of the slip (we are sorry but our insurance agent would kill us).
Keep in mind that staying aboard a boat will not be the same as staying in a hotel or a home. Boats move when you walk, they have tripping hazards, the head space is less, stepping on and off can be challenging; so please set your expectations properly. We have gone to great lengths to make the space cozy and easy to get around in, however we encourage guests to look through the pictures and consider any personal mobility limitations that might make this a challenging stay.
Please bring a rain jacket if inclement weather is expected.

Q: Can I check in early, can I check out late?
A: Unfortunately we cannot give early check ins or late check outs because our cleaners need that window of time to properly clean and get the boat ready for you (or the next guest). Keeping the space clean is one of our top priorities and to do so limits our ability to be flexible with those times.

Q: Can I take the boat out sailing?
A: No, this is a stay aboard listing only.

Q: If I pay extra will you take me out sailing?
A: Although we would love to offer this, at this time we are not licensed to do so.

Q: Does the boat lock from the inside?
A: The main cabin doors do not lock from the inside. This is a safety feature to insure quick escape in case of a fire. Although fires are very rare and we’ve gone to great lengths to ensure that the boat is safe, we must keep the safety of our guests in top priority. The marina is very safe and is complete with security gates and guards that patrol at night time, so locking the doors isn’t necessary.

Q: Are there many bugs around the boat at night?
A: Depending on the time of year you visit Clementine you may find that there are some flying bugs. The best way to avoid them getting into the cabin is to keep the lights inside the boat to a minimum while you have the doors open (they love to follow the light). So far we’ve seen little to no mosquitoes in the marina. Spiders love boats, so it’s likely you’ll see a few trying to build nests around the docks and on the boat. However, we are very diligent at using means to discourage their presence.

Parking is free. There are dock carts available to transport your luggage from your vehicle to the boat. The marina is very secure, complete with locking gates on the docks. You will have access to the property once you check in and obtain the keys.

Have you stayed in a boat allowing the sun to wake you up? Have you experienced the joy of doing nothing? In the lazy waves of Lake Michigan lies UNPLUG where we encourage you to practice the joy of doing nothing.

Unplug has one large bed on board that can sleep 2 (Q size), a smaller Full bed, a small sofa, and a kitchen on board with basic amenities. The bathroom on board is not usuable but guests can use the clean well kept marina bathrooms and showers just a short walk away.

The space
Reconnect with a loved one, or gift someone for an anniversary or a birthday, a night at this 28 foot long space that makes "Unplug" feel like a tiny home. We really encourage you to do nothing at DfN, but whether you're a digital nomad or a workaholic, the small L sofa, a kitchen with an electric stove, a V shaped bed and skylights above, provide a cozy vibe that can be used to find more of yourself, discover more of a loved one, or really just HAVE to respond to emails. A small extra bedroom that fits a full size bed can sleep 2 more. The deck above has another sofa. There is a bathroom on board with a sink and pump toilet but NOT usable - guests can use the marina bathroom and showers that are way more convenient and just a short walk away. They are also really clean and just like glamping.

There is a step up to the bed and steps down to go from the main deck to the living area. You also have to take a step over water to get on board. The boat has to stay docked and cannot be taken out, no smoking and no parties are allowed out of respect to other boats who might also be coming to stay unplugged and enjoy the water and outdoors. Also, all guests or visitors need to be on the booking. Guests would need to step on and off the boat over a body of water so we do ask guests to be aware and careful.

Guests must see the boat as a glamping experience much like having a luxury bed and airconditioned but in a campsite. Guests can use the marina which has wonderful facilities for all needs, including a pool and hot tub besides the bathrooms and showers. The marina also has a gas grill you can use. To grill, you may have to bring your own equipment.
